I am a power shopper as I own a boutique and have very little time to get away and enjoy the outside world. I've been a Macy's gal for many years but now I am a Dillard's gal! My experience at this store is always so great and my last shopping spree far outweighed my expectations. A young lady by the name of Sofia was incredibly helpful to me and went above and beyond the call of duty to find exactly what I was looking for. It was like having a personal shopper with me, knowing exactly where things were in that giant selection of beautiful clothes. I purchased much more than I expected to and will return soon for another 'spree'. Sofia was so courteous and helpful and I hope I have the pleasure of working with her again when I return. It's not often you find such great customer service in a big box store but I feel Dillard's in Flatirons is a great place to spend my time and money. read more

I went to Dillard's Broomfield, in the Flatirons Mall, in need of a sports jacket, slacks a shirt and tie, after having not had "dress clothes" in a number of years. The gentleman who served me was quite nice--patient, affable and knowledgeable--and the store well disposed for fittings and changing. Other stores have mostly gone to pre-cut slacks of rayon and other synthetic materials, and these are absolutely terrible. I've tried them, seduced by impossibly low-prices and designer names. I'm actually now donating to the Good Will two new pair of slacks that I had gotten at Macys, marked "Ralph Laurent." Anyway, Dillards, God bless their soul, had at least two lines of good quality woolen slacks that would fit an old Gnome like me, and with other items I have bought, and a little advice on style and colors from the fine tailor at hand, I walked away a happy camper, ready for the wedding at hand. I was surprised to find the store not open until 11 a.m. most days, but that was OK with me as i 'm not an early riser. Still, I presume that such hours are perhaps hangovers from the rough conditions of the Covid years, and maybe they'll one day return to an earlier schedule. I'd check before going. I was pleased that between Macys (where there was no help on the floor) and Nordstrom, there is a store with courteous help--good product lines at affordable prices. You can, by the way, find a huge line of dress shirts --in white, blue, grey, and stripes, in Big and Tall sizes both on their internet sight and at the Mall. Neck sizes to 22 and perhaps more. This store is GROSS. I went in a few weekends to take my daughter for a dress to wear to a friends wedding and we couldn't get out there fast enough. The fitting rooms smell like BO and are filthy. There is dirt, stains, gross unknowns all over the carpeting -- not just in the dressing room areas. They clearly don't vacuum or take care of the store. Several of the clothing items had stains on them from makeup and there were items littered on the gross floor. I was there at 10:15am on a Saturday morning (right after they opened) and this is what the store looked like. I have pictures and will try to upload. GROSS. We found a dress elsewhere. read more

I had to get some work clothes in Feb and since it's been a while I decided to get several items and knew I'd probably return things that I didn't like. I was monitoring to make sure I didn't miss the 30 day return window and was unpleasantly surprised to learn that one of the business blouses I bought had a 3day return window??? This was definitely not pointed out when I bought it and I can guarantee I would have put it back if I'd know it was a 3 day return item. So frustrating... And I get retail is a hard business but I wish the manager would show a tiny bit of empathy. read more

When Dillard's says customer service, they mean no customer service. I bought a shirt and wore it once. I washed it and the lining shrank. I went to return it and they refused because it had been washed. Who needs this kind of aggravation? Besides the illogical rule , they were rude. read more

Very disappointed in Dillard's return policy for sale items. I bought a pair a pants Friday, came back Wednesday to return, because they don't fit right. I was told there is a three day return policy no exception. The pants were brand new with the tags on and I had the receipt.You would think that Dillards as a large department store would have a better return policy than that. Be very careful what you buy there because you may not be able to return it. I would have been happy with a merchandise credit, Dillards give your associates some power to make customers happy. read more

I went to replace some clothes for a wedding that did not make it on our trip. Ian was the person who help us and he was awesome! He took the time to understand what I was looking for and to walk us around with suggestions and opinions along the way. Super helpful through the whole process. I went to buy new dress shirts. After I had picked out 3 brands that I wanted to try on to see which fit best, I went to the dressing room and was told by an associate that I would not be allowed to try them on. He told me to pick one of three different brands and that I could try that one on only. I left the store without trying any on and without making any purchases. read more

Went shopping here on Friday, April 13, 2018. Looked at swimwear. Found some shirts. Now only needed a cashier. I walked the first floor, not a single person wanted to take my money! I even waited by a cashier in hopes someone might see me and ring me up... Oh.... they saw me.... even didn't acknowledge me, got her things from the cashier desk and walk away. Because standing at a cashier desk is just what people do(?). Needless to say, you guys suck. You won't be seeing any of my money, or my friends. This is not my favorite department store, but sometimes I find that I do need to shop here. It's probably the middle of the three at Flatiron Crossing, not nearly as good as my favorite but better stocked and staffed than my least favorite. Mostly I find myself here when searching for a size or color of a brand name item that is out of stock elsewhere. And an item which is the same price everywhere because the manufacturers won't let a retailer have their item if they don't sell at the suggested price. Sometimes they have it, sometimes they don't. But it is usually worth looking. It's not a store I browse. I have had some helpful staff but as a rule they often don't know what they actually have, so definitely look for yourself. I have sometimes had to order from Dillard's online and pay exorbitant shipping compared to some stores. No free shipping over $50 or anything like that. But sometimes you need an item and no one else has it. Their website will not tell you whether it is in stock at a nearby store like a lot of companies do. I find that very annoying given that the technology is available and can be customized to show whether the stock is high or low. And I have found that phone call checking is rather useless. read more

I've bought shoes here twice and both times I was helped by two amazing Dillard's assistants - Jamie and Lana. They are so knowledgeable and helpful in finding just the right pair. I've never seen two employees handle so many customers at once. I witnessed them checking out 2 people and obtaining pairs of shoes for 3 others, almost, simultaneously. They work together like a well-oiled machine. Dillard's is lucky to have these two employees in their shoe department. read more

Richard in the men's department was very helpful! Stopped in here hoping to find the hubby a wallet. He is very picky so I was guessing we were going to have to go to at least 5 more stores. I was wrong! Richard found us looking around and after asking my husband what he prefers in a wallet he picked a couple out for him to test. Hubby picked one of the 3 he suggested and after a week of 'real time' use, he still loves it and is very glad for the suggestion. Will be back for any 'man' thing for sure! This store has the worst customer surface and the absolute worst return policy. Clearance items can only be returned within 3 days. If they mark items down that you bought less than 2 weeks ago they will not price match with a receipt. There is never anyone around to check you out. The people that work there are rude and very unfriendly. I will no longer be shopping at Dillards. There are other stores with much better customer surface. Do not waste your time or money there. In these times with large department stores going out of business you would think they would have better policies and customer service! read more

The lingerie department at this Dillard's is the last true department left at the Flatiron mall. Both the Macy's and Nordstrom's departments were poorly stocked and un-organized when I visited yesterday. The Dillard's had the best selection of the high quality bras I need, namely Wacoal. After trying to find something myself for about five minutes, I was stopped by a very sweet employee who insisted that she "get her tape on me." She measured me well and I am currently wearing the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. For those women who know the value of a well-fitting bra, and rely on high quality lingerie brands to provide this, the lingerie department at Dillard's is a must-visit! I hope that this department remains at the Flatiron mall for many years to come! read more

I really like to shop at Dillard's, but this last time, the teeny bopper working - yeah you, with the side braid and glasses in the junior's dept was just down right rude and was not going to help me. I generally take it upon myself to find a fitting room with no help and then locate the first sales counter to check out at, however, after such a rude exp, I was not going to give her any sale whatsoever. Being the only brown skinned person shopping in that dept, she went out of her way not to ask me if I needed help and instead asked everyone else - several times. I even saw her eyeball the 100lb security guard and then look at me. Really, F-U. I looked at him with the glare of death and I can take you, so don't F with me.....I have money to pay for my items. So instead, I took my dresses to another fitting room where I recalled a lady (Wanda?) asking me if I needed help and to get her if I needed anything - and I was just walking by earlier to get to the jrs dept. A purchase of several hundred $$$$ later, and service with a smile and a thank you for your business, I left Dillard's with miss teeny bopper eyeballing my purchase. Being that I'm a guy shopping doesn't often make my list of exciting things to do. But as circumstances arise I am forced to occasionally do a little shopping. To compound my shopping woes I fit into the category of the Big and Tall guy. I have to say that Dillards really has a great selection and high quality clothes designed to make us bigger guys look as good as we can. Now with that said here's why they get a 5 star review from me. The staff in the Big and Tall department allow me to shop like a man. Its easy, lets measure you fast, show you 3 or 4 things that might work, ring you up and get you the heck out of here. Men don't love stores we just want to get in and get out they get this that's why I like Dillard staff. Helpful, knowledgeable and fast. I almost forgot, be sure to ask for a guy named - Farhad Haji he is great to work with. read more

For me this is just another Department Store. When I'm in a Shopping Mall I do venture in to almost every store and this one is no exception. Being that it was Black Friday there were lots of sales and the customer associates were very helpful if you needed something. Richard in the mens department was about the most helpful person that I've ever encountered inside of a department store, in any state, in my entire life, except when my aunt worked at Nordstrom's. Went to ring my gift at the counter and the sales person there told me I had to go back to the Men's Dept. to ring up. I told her no one was there can she get someone for me? She sighed loudly and rang me up. She also scolded me about when I come in the future to ring up where I get my item. She also asked me to move out of her way twice rudely. Well i won't be going back! I can buy things from shops where they appreciate my business, are polite, and don't scold me which is super ridiculous. Okay, so I love shoes and currently Dillards is having a big sale. I went there to check it out and wandered around the women's shoe department with a couple of shoes in my hand. NO ONE asked to help me. Lest you think everyone was busy, I asked a dark haired young woman who was standing looking toward the makeup counter if she worked there. "Yes," she said unsmiling, without offering to help me. I held up the shoes I had in my hand and gave her my size. She returned quickly with the shoes and went off to stand looking toward the makeup counters again. I tried on the shoes and they didn't fit and I left. Buying shoes here is not fun. If all shoe sales people were as unhelpful as the people in this department, I would not have so many shoes! I've been to the shoe department in this Dillards a few times and EVERY TIME the employees seem reluctant to offer help, preferring to talk to each other. Back to the Longmont Dillards, I go -- they have GREAT customer service! read more

Got a sale watch that I was told would be able to be resized at this location, the return time was a limit of 3 days after the purchase which I understood, came in a few months after purchasing the watch and was told they could not resize the watch there and i would have to spend who knows how much money at a jewelry or watch store. I then asked if I was able to exchange the watch and get something else for the sale price, they were extremely rude and said they would not allow it. My only choice is to now be stuck with a watch I can't even wear or spend the price of the watch on sizing at a jewelry store. read more

My friend and I went here today to buy a pair of jeans for her boyfriend. When we got in we asked if they sold men's levis, and we were directed to that part of the store. As soon as we got there, we hear them calling over the intercom to send customer assistance to men's levis. The older guy that came over asked if we needed help, and we tried to be nice but we told him we knew what we were looking for several times. He would not leave, continued to intently watch us shop and tell us what we were looking for. It was really weird, being that my friend and I are both young girls. I work in customer service as well, and I was uncomfortable. We told him we were just waiting to see if my friends boyfriend liked the color. She was on the phone with him. The guy left for a minute, then returned and asked my friend if she had gotten a response back, which was so weird!! Why would he need to know? We found the right pair, and were attempting to find the checkout as we both don't shop here when the security lady confronted us and told us that if we were going to buy the jeans, we needed to check out right away, and she was very aggressive and insistent about that. What if we wanted to look for more stuff? It felt like we were being profiled. I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was there, and my friend was too. Absolutely abhorrent customer service, and unfair treatment. I will never shop at this Dillards again, and I would recommend to anyone else to stay away as well. I wish I could give 0 stars. I was here at 5:50 pm on Tuesday, January 26th. I did not catch the names of the two employees that lurked over us but we felt harassed and creeped out by both of them. I needed a new purse and decided to go to Dillard's Thursday night . When I got there, there was no other shoppers in the purse dept, There was two employees working in the purse department that night. I started looking around and not one word from either of them. I walked back and forth passing them and the did not ask if I needed any help. After 10 minuets of looking another shopper came and both employees greeted her. I shop Dillard's for my husband, because selection is far better than other department stores around. Happy with selection and prices, however this store is constantly understaffed, that became irritating. We usually do our shopping in the evening on weekdays. We would spend at least an hour looking around and trying on without anybody around. Last time, we ended up on the second floor, and checked out in kid's dept. because we couldn't find anyone to slide our card. Accordingly, store looks sometimes very messy around, because it became self-served. There is not enough staff to clean after their customers. This store has much more potential. Company must hire more people, if they want to improve their customer service. read more

It's too bad that I don't have the option to leave a 0 star rating, they don't even deserve 1 star. I purchased a pair of Kate Spade sunglasses during a sale and unfortunately the security tag bowed the frame. When I first tried them on, I thought the way they were fitting was due to the security tag being attached and that it wouldn't be an issue once the tag was off. I purchased them, wore them a couple of days later to find that the tag actually bowed the piece and therefore they were damaged. I called this store for about 2 weeks asking to speak to the manager to get this resolved, each time I was told they weren't in, they were in a meeting, they aren't available, please leave a message, explain the situation and they will call you back. I just spoke to the manager, MacKenzie, to get this resolved and was told that they wouldn't be able to help me with my very reasonable and fair request to return/exchange them because the sale is over and she was just told about the complaint yesterday. Seriously?! I've been trying to explain my situation to the store manager for almost 2 weeks and she is just now being told about this? I tried to get this resolved during the sale but no one would get me through to a manager to speak to. And I have to be the one to call in AGAIN to beg to speak to a manager to be told "so sorry we can't help you" WOW. Will NEVER shop at Dillard's again. Here I thought buying high-end, high-priced, quality items from them would give me the benefit of great customer service. I was definitely wrong. They aren't worth the time or the money. read more

Today I visited Dillards and found two blouses I really liked. I had to go to two different areas to look for a room to try on the tops that was not locked. There was only one clerk in the entire upstairs clothing area and she was in petites. I was shopping misses on the other side. I decided to go downstairs to pay in the kids department and it was just as bad. I looked all over for a clerk. I was ready to go to the perfume department when a clerk walked by and said she would be right back. I waited and waited, finally looked around and she was over at another check out waiting on people who were after me. I know because I had started waiting at that cash register. If I had not really loved the blouses, I would have thrown them on the floor and walked out. From now on I will just stick to Macy's, Chico's, or Christopher Bank's when I shop Flat Irons. read more

I visited the Dillards @ Flatiron today for the first time. I am not pleased. The customer service in the womens dress dept sucks!!!! I was over by the area that had Democracy jeans. No salesperson in sight. I waited and waited. Still no salesperson. I finally find the manager and let her know that I need assistance. She tells me the salesperson is probably stocking and should return shortly.Points me in the direction of some jeans and walks away! Here I am with a bag of shoes and I am lugging this bag from one section to the other trying on jeans because the dressing room closest to me is locked. The elusive Susan finally shows up and does provide some assistance but its too late. I am truly pissed. Not sure if this is a one off or if this is the norm for this location but someone needs to look into this. The only reason why a customer should not be able to get assistance is if the store is busy (which it was not). Oh, by the way clean your mirrors in the dressing room and OMG the carpet is disgusting!!!! Rest assured I will be taking my business to Macys in the future. Went to Dillard's shoe department to buy a pair of tennis shoes. A display pair were on sale. When I went to purchase the shoes the sales guy charged me the full price. When I told him they were on sale, he spent the next 15 minutes trying to prove to me that the wrong shoe was on sale and the shoes were mismarked. Customer is never right in this store. They wouldn't give me the sale price even though the display shoe was clearly marked! Terrible experience!!! Too many good shoe stores to mess with Dillard's. Poor customer service. read more
