What a great store! The selection of clothing is outstanding, especially for outdoorsmen/outdoorswomen. Top quality goods. There is ample room between displays so you don't feel stuck between racks that were packed with as much inventory as possible per square feet of floor space. This makes for a relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience, The staff were outstanding. I asked one associate about a particular product and he led me to it and explained the many options then we were joined by another associate who pointed out something further, The restroom and facilities were clean and well laid-out, something which can't be taken for granted. We left with several items purchased. Their return policy is very generous and built on trust. Placed a small order over three weeks ago...no one can help estimate the delivery date. I had to call as there wasn't any update about a delay. The only response is that they are overwhelmed and behind. It did ship now but through a 3rd party where the package has been sitting for 4 days in a processing center just one town over. Duluth's customer service line warns of long hold times and refers you to their chat - which is down and not available. It hasn't been available all weekend. I'm driving to a physical store tomorrow to try and repurchase the items in time for Christmas. read more

Customer service at this establishment is absolutely atrocious. I spent 15 mins wandering the store when I couldn't find what I was looking for I went to the center of the store and stood at the counter for sever minutes with no other customers around. The employee in the center was way too concerned with her cell phone to help a customer out. If I could give Duluth Trading a minus score I would. This is not a review of a store, but of their catalog service. I placed an order 11/30/24. After 2 weeks I got my order only to find I was missing 2 items and there were 2 items I didn't order in the package. I was honest about the extra items and wish I wasn't. I then was instructed to send back the wrong items and THEN they would send me my items I was missing. So, I had to make a special trip to Fed Ex. I have since received 1 of my missing items. I am still waiting for the 2nd missing item, which I have been charged for. I have made 5 different phone calls on one order, each time remaining on hold for over 1 hour each time. I never received tracking or shipping confirmation on the order. I've also tried live chat which they recommended. That live chat was supposed to be connected to a live body within 8 minutes. It has been 55 minutes and no chat. My husband has spent thousands of $ over the years with Duluth. I am done with them. I will NEVER order anything again. Not even sure I'll get my missing item. I feel I should be offered at least $50-$100 gift card for all my wasted time, I'd give it to my husband. He can shop there, I won't. read more

I ordered a pair of overalls on sale for $45. After two weeks and no shipping notification, I contacted them and was told my order was canceled due to them selling out with no idea when they would restock. Less than 24 hrs after I received this information, I got an email advertising another "sale" where the same overalls, same size, which supposedly were "sold out" were now $60. Again, I messaged support, asking why I'd been given incorrect information, pointing out this was fraud. They took several days to respond but stated if I called a particular number, they'd put a note on my account and I could get the overalls for the original sale price. When I called, however, I was told the overalls were (shocker) sold out, even though I could find them and add them to my cart online for full price. I contacted email support again, they said they would put a note on my account so that I could get a different color pair for the same price but I had to call the number again. I called yet again. I was told they could not honor the original price for any other pair and the original pair was still sold out and I was given misinformation from email support. I could make a purchase for $90 now. I reached out again to email support asking for someone to please help me, which they have ignored. I have now wasted around 2 hours of time trying to get Duluth to honor a sale they made to me. I have recently found Duluth based on an article I read on the world most comfy underwear (their buck naked brand). After ordering a few items from their online site and absolutely loving it all, I have become a lover of all things Duluth. We had to head up north for a party, so I figured it was a perfect time to finally hit the store. I found the store, bright, clean and well stocked. Associates were all friendly. DTC is not a cheap place, but they do have a ton of quality items. This stuff will last. So if I was closer I would be here for their sales and their clearance! Still love their products. Trish was so helpful, finding items, explaining sizes and finding items on different sizes. Than you, Trish. I wanted to come to the store as I find their women's sizes don't run true. An XL top is way too small for for me. I fit easily in a small pant. That is not how I am really built. Normally, I wear a large in both top and bottom - not here! Expensive stuff...NOT AMERICAN MADE... I don't know where I got the impression that everything sold here was made in America but after buying a couple pairs of pants and a jacket I learned that it's China and Indonesia. So this company is making money hand-over-fist for seemingly well made products that aren't even made in America because dropping $75 on a pair of pants made in America is something I could totally justify but seeing as how they are made in Indonesia the pants probably cost $5 actually. This really makes me question whether or not I want to be their customer again or maybe even return the products I bought it's just such a huge shame that this company is not American made when I've heard so many good things about it....dag yo... read more

We've just moved to the Denver area 3 months ago and boy were we surprised to spot this store. Yes, we've been tickled by the tv ads but we didn't think they had actual stores. My other half is a big tall guy and at 6' 9" he always has a hard time finding XL Tall sizes. It's the length that kills us in shopping,but this company carries A LOT of tall sizes so guess who was like a kid in the candy store on our first trip here? Yup, my TALL guy. He found pants that actually fit him in length and fit his shape. He's had to buy larger just to get length but not here. The shirts fit him wonderfully, especially the cuffs. They hit the mark and DON'T look like they were shrunken after washing! No high water pants for him! LOL I found a few things, but my favorite items are the Keen winter boots ( oh so comfortable) and the slouch beanie (LOVE the fit). I have a medical condition so I feel cold (or heat) a bit worse than others so the shoes have really helped me keep my feet warmer than I've ever been able to do.Yes, I love them. The fact is Duluth is a bit pricey BUT the tradeoff is the quality. These babies will last season's not one season and certainly more than one/two washings. My other half is impressed by the quality of the fabric and the stitching. His pants are triple stiched and the fact that the Fire Hose pants have several pockets in handy places made him fall in love. I did read a review about the products not being made in the U.S. , so I checked our items and I found that to be correct on our purchases. But, if you look at just about anywhere else, this is true. Sad but true. The quality though is much better than say Macy's, Kohl's, Old Navy, etc. The materials are sturdier and the fabrication looks like they will last for many years. Was I impressed ? Yes. Stopped in to look at shirts I saw in the Duluth Trading Catalog that came in my mail. Couldn't find the exact item (one of their most popular, or so the catalog says) so I hunted down a sales person (not easy). The only two there were restocking an area and were rather annoyed that I might like some help. They both looked, found a table with the item they said I was looking for (elbow length t-shirts) and they both left me there. I look and see they are all short sleeve. At first I thought it odd that there were only about 2 customers in the whole store including me ... but after looking around to see such sparse inventory, no knowledgeable salespersons to assist, I get it. Visited yesterday to find some work shirts for my husband. The store was clean and comfortable. I loved the lounge area in the back, complete with complimentary coffee and water, and some comfy chairs. It made shopping with a 1 year old much more relaxing. Never received the merchandise that I ordered even after calling their customer service I still never received the Clothing that I ordered.

The staff was great and I found some clothes that are very comfortable and keep me cool in the heat. High in price but the quality is great. I will return to get another fire hose shorts and Alaskan Hardware shirts. read more

Don't bother ordering online and having it shipped to a store. I think I would love their stuff if you could actually get it. I ordered 2 shirts and 3 pairs of socks for my husband and checked to have them sent to my local store so that I wouldn't have to pay shipping. Needless to say, after a number of emails stating that my order was at the store, stopping by the store (no order in sight, nor any resolution other than they are having computer problems with this process), and now calling back 3 days later to find no order and no resolution other than telling me I can reorder from the mother-ship in MN and start over. Oh, they did offer to send me a $7 pair of socks for free to my house since they did have that in stock. Seriously, in the world of online retail these guys need to get their act together. Maybe even offer me a nice coupon for my frustration. I will go back to LL Bean or Cabellas. read more

We just had a very unsatisfactory experience at this store. I tried to return a piece of clothing that was a gift, and they said that they had to put the money back on the card used for the original purchase... even though I had a receipt and the item was still in the original packaging. Before going to the store we called and the person we spoke to on the phone indicated that getting store credit wouldn't be a problem. Anyway, after a 10-15 minute debate they eventually said we could get credit but only if we found an item of equal or more value today. We did find something but then when we checked out the cashier acted like we had committed a crime and treated us very rudely. In a time when brick and mortar stores are closing daily, you'd think they would focus on providing good service. I guess Amazon will eventually take over the world! My wife bought a flannel shirt from this store about 1.5 years ago for an Alaskan cruise, and has been raving about it ever since. Excited that they had a brick-and-mortar store close by, we stopped in to pick up some hiking pants. Walked out with the pants that are exactly what I need, plus an awesome Henley and a funny t-shirt. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, there's great variety of products, and they stand behind their products. I consider it to be on par with L.L. Bean, REI and Eddie Bauer. read more

Over-rated / over-priced! $30 for underwear - really?!!? I requested to be put on the mailing list and to be notified when certain items went on. SALE. I was notified of one item that actually was reasonable and I wanted it for a Christmas gift. Went to the store to pick it up and was told there were no "e-mails" sent of that item. I dream sometimes but not that specific! I asked them again to please check because I really wanted that item - nothing! The elderly woman behind the counter ( I believe her name was Trish) became very irate and nasty! She threw my purchases in a bag that ripped and I was afraid of everything falling out so asked if I could please have another bag. She grabbed 3or4 and stuffed them into my bag as if to say - now go away! I stopped in here with my wife, or rather I stopped outside with my dog and my wife went in to make sure our dog could come in with us and the lady at the front by the door said that only service animals were allowed because dogs scare customers. To be honest people's children scare me. You guys SELL dog stuff! We were baffled that we were told no. My wife went in while I went to a nearby store but quickly left after thinking about how off it is that you sell dog stuff but we can't bring our dog in. We wanted to get some gifts for our family, a collar for our dog, Noga pants for the wife, and a few shirts for me.
