I know this sounds crazy but now for the 2nd time I've bought expensive face cream, retinol, etc., the container was empty and there was a small hole in the bottom. Looked like it was deliberately drained from the bottom. Bizarre! So double check the packaging and bottom of the containers. People are crazy! read more

I recently moved to the area with just my clothes and needed to furnish an apartment...while the selection is decent the Home Goods side is a mess. Not like anything I am used to. Plus the staff doesn't know anything. Every time I would ask what section I could find something no one knew where anything was at. Then checking out not one time did I feel appreciated as a customer. I found the Ross down the street to be be way better and cheaper for the things I was looking for. read more

A nice selection of home furnishings at attractive prices. I went looking for an area rug at the suggestion of a friend and found some good values. They have a few dozen carpets on display. There is a lot of other merchandise for sprucing up your home. Lamps, cushions, utensils for the kitchen, pillows, etc etc. Worth a visit! read more

TJ Maxx/HomeGoods - Picking out an area rug. Nice selection. - Department Stores Near Me - Westminster, Colorado

I ordered a pillow online and received a porcelain dog. The website says I can return the item to any store. The manager of this store refused to let me return my item for a pillow. I ordered the pillow because my husband is having cancer surgery tomorrow and he needed something to help him sit up. I'm completely disgusted, you will no longer have my business and I will blast you on all social media how you treat a cancer patient. I explained to the manager what was happening and how we ordered this for my husband and why, I got sorry. Shame on you HomeGoods, it's a freaking pillow and it was your mistake! read more

Covid update: They have an attendant at the entrance to provide masks and hand sanitizer to entering customers, and they've removed some racks on the clothing side to create more space for social distancing. The HomeGoods side is just as packed with treasures as ever, so they have arrows in the floor to control the traffic flow. Plexiglass screens at the registers. Keep up the good work, TJMaxx! read more

Generally, this is a good combo store with decent selection of clothes, housewares, and furniture. I always find at least 1-2 cute tops but the selection and variety of pants/jeans is pretty awful. I can't never find a decent pair that is true to size and not made of cheap fabrics. The purse selection is also good, depending on the season but the accessories are on point. Love that they've expanded the beauty section. On the furniture side, always a selection that varies tremendously- from full blown sofas to random side tables or trinkets. I've always had decent luck with the smaller items. As others have said, the lines...I've often left early because I didn't want to wait for 1-2 items. Stop by during the week for better luck but it's almost guaranteed that you'll wait. read more

This TJ Maxx is the bees knees. The staff are awesome, they have tons of decent products, I even found Marc Jacobs sunglasses in here for $30, deal of the century?! Another reason why this TJ Maxx is the best is because it has a HomeGoods connected to it too. Lots of amazing modern furniture and paintings. I think the next time I deck out my house I'll visit here to get the art work and furniture. read more

We actually found a few neat things during our recent visit but there were a few negatives as well. This place definitely could use a facelift and better organization. Both of which would make it more inviting and easier to find what you're looking for. I prefer HomeGoods (also owned by TJ Maxx) locations because they are typically a lot more pleasant. But we ended up finding a suitcase and some random shampoo that sounded fancy. Then checkout... omg the LINE! Apparently this place is popular but if that's always true then you'd think that they would hire more employees to open registers and take care of the store/merchandise. Just keep these things in mind if you're downtown and want to do some shopping here! :) read more

I think the decor here is so wonderful and inexpensive while actually great quality. Only problem is how tight the racks are and people just don't move when you try and squeeze by them. Forget taking a cart down the rows, way too small and crowded for that. I still love it and choose that place over other establishments for gifts and home decor for myself and others. read more

I went in today to take a few returns and I usually hate to go to this location because I always have such a bad experience but it was closer so I said screw it there was a older lady maybe about 50 short blonde hair glasses and floral dress on register 3 I believe in the front who gave me horrible customer service experience and ruined my day :( she really needs a talking too because I really felt racially profiled read more

Great place to shop especially for last minute gifts. The prices are always good and variety of items to choose from.

Dear Gods of Retail Therapy... can I marry a store? Both of them? They're joined inside with separate entrances. It was love at first sliding door; the Michael Kors bags sang to me. Then the jewelry; swarovski-encrusted Tasha bracelets were laid out on a tall rack waiting to blind me with their beauty. The clothing.. there's so much of everything! Workout gear, daily fashion, work wear, accessories... I even missed an entire section only to come to that startling realization as I was called to a register. HomeGoods blew me away even more. I have never, ever seen a pet section like that in my life! The home decor was equally-amazing. Every time I thought I saw it all, I turned another corner. I seriously conditioned my self-control in these stores. Two hours of walking around, trying things on, picking things up, putting them down to oogle more... only to walk out with one item. PHEW! Too bad I took pictures of everything I loved and am now debating driving back for them. read more

Just A-OK TJ Maxx at this location coz its aint calling my name. Recent visit was on Sunday April 7th 2013. I prefer to go to this TJ Maxx when they open at 11 am rather at a later time slot coz when the previous time I was here, I don't fancy the HUGE crowd and all the piles of items are in disarray.. If in the neighborhood, I know there is this TJ Maxx and Home Goods to look for, though I think I prefer the TJ Maxx a couple of miles away in Superior WAY better. @81/2013 read more

Loss prevention is racist as F@?? here. I was in the bedding and apparently I was spending too much time in the aisle. There's always a mess in that aisle, so had to look for all the right sizes and get the matching pillow cases, which are in a different aisle than the bedspreads/quits. A white guy (it's always a fn white guy) passes the aisle and then goes around and enters the aisle from the other side without a cart or anything else in his hands. Yeah, not obvious at all. Then I left my cart and went to go look at something, when I get back there's a security guy touching my things and he asked if the cart was mine. There was a white woman who left her cart in the way to walk around and that's why I left mine. The last time I went to try stuff on in the fitting rooms. The first women let me take 10 things in, I came out with no problem. I went to get different sizes and some new things again a white guy there tells me to put them on the pole, so I did and then he counts them one by one and looks in them. I come out and he's like put them back on the pole so he can count them again. I told him that not everyone is trying to steal and walked away. I spent a lot of money there, and I should be able to shop there without a white/black guy following me around because I'm in gym attire, and I'm a Hispanic woman. read more

Horrible mask reinforcement. Felt supper sorry for employees who deal with ignorant people who do not use masks. The manager Kevin Baker allowed a customer to walk around without a mask stating that "TJ Max does not reinforce masks" if this is the issue with the store than Corporate is to blame for not protecting. After a dispute with so costumer she told Kevin to remove us from the store. Super unprofessional and ignorant from their part in the middle of a pandemic! Please avoid shopping at places that will not protect you ! read more

I was looking in Tj for makeup for my daughter McKynsleigh. The prices on all of their makeup products were very affordable! I had Seda help me at checkout and she was so knowledgeable about every single product in my cart. She even went above and beyond to tell me how to apply the makeup on my daughter! The store was so organized and all of the employees were so helpful! But Seda especially went to the extra mile to be helpful and kind to customers! Great job! I love TJ Maxx and Home Goods!!! read more

I opened a TJ Maxx credit card at this location and have been disputing a fraudulent charge for 2 months. The employee who opened the card did not appear to be trained in this process as she continued to ask for help and took nearly 30 minutes to open the account. She took down my address incorrectly and sent the card to an address in California. There was a $500+ charge made shortly after I opened the account. I have reported the dispute now 3 times and have not gotten a resolution. Every time I call they tell me they have no documentation of my previous dispute requests. DO NOT open a card here, this has been the worst credit card experience I have ever had. read more

Twice now I've returned something and when I am exchanging to apply a credit towards another balance it does not credit me the tax back.

This review has nothing to do with the current COVID situation. Regardless, if your associate does not know where an item is located please have them ask someone who does. "Ahhh I'm not sure" is not an answer. I don't live here, but wouldn't waste my time if I were you. read more

The employees I encountered in this store were great... a gentleman employee who didn't work in the department I was asking about stopped what he was doing to try and help me find a product..which I really appreciated... I did end up purchasing a candle and the young lady at checkout was very personable which was refreshing.. I was however a little discourage with the selection they had; specifically men's apparel.. they maybe had 3 pairs of shoes for men.. and the sizes of clothing were all scattered about.. it just looked like they had the staffing .. just no one had decided to do recovery for a while ... I'm not opposed to revisiting this location.. maybe better luck next time... with men's apparel that is ..... read more

This TJ Maxx location is a little further out with respect to our typical spending sphere, but since has a Home Goods attached, it is worth the trip! I was very impressed on how fast we were able to get out of the checkout line on a Saturday afternoon. read more

TJ Maxx/HomeGoods - Clothes... - Department Stores Near Me - Westminster, Colorado

It has taken me a very long and expensive time to come to the realization that I am a home accessories addict. Seriously, how many throw pillows does it take to have a problem? I think the fact that I can change the entire look of my couch on a weekly bases means that I have too many... This being said, Home Goods has fueled my addiction for a VERY long time. They really have some awesome deals if you take the time to search through their endless merchandise. I got a great accent rug for 8 bucks! Really? Who does that? Well, my friends, Home Goods does, that's who. As far as TJ Maxx goes, I find that it is really hit or miss in the clothing department. There have been times that I have found some steals to add to my business wardrobe. Other times, however, the only things I can find look like they belong on prepubescent girls trying too hard to look like something they are not. That being said, I don't see my obsession with well-decorated spaces subsiding anytime in the near future. Home Goods, I'll see you soon! read more

I prefer this location so much more than the one that's closer to me! It seems sooo much bigger and I felt like I could've spent a long time going up and down the aisles. Alas, I was with my husband and he's not much of a shopper. :-) I was looking for Christmas cards, which I found and bought, but I was really impressed with how much stuff they have. I LOVE bargains, and this place had so much stuff I liked and frankly it was really hard to not buy all the things! I was surprised there was a long line on a Tuesday afternoon, but there were several cashiers and the line moved pretty quickly. I look forward to going to this TJ Maxx again and hopefully getting more stuff. :D read more

This particular TJ Maxx is clean and organized. You might find some things in disarray on the weekends but it is not that bad. I like their selection of handbags the best. The HomeGoods side of the store has a huge selection of kitchenware, decor for the patio, bathroom and living room. This is definitely one of the better stores. read more

This tjmaxx/ home goods combo is convenient and has a good selection. However, it's SO busy on weekends and the lines can be super long. Also: please fix your hours in Apple maps! It says 10am opening on maps, but we got there and waited about 10 minutes till opening. Got up to the door and actually opens at 11 :( read more

TJ Maxx is somewhere between "Meh" and "Not Meh" for me. I find it to be overpriced compared to other "Bargain Retailers." I also find it to be cleaner and better organized. Although not better stocked. Has anyone else noticed that the local Marshall's, Ross, and TJ Maxx stores are almost always nearly empty out here? What gives? But, being a "Bargain Retailer" ... If you're in the mood for a hunt and a bargain, there's usually SOMETHING to be found. Even if it's just a gift for someone else. read more

In general, I love Home Goods because of a good business. I was buying a light fixture that read, You GOT THIS" for a school that was broken, so I was doing them a favor. This TJ/MaX/Home Goods, the manager, on Nov. 6th did not know how to process tax-exempt while paying at the register, alternatively. I was far away from the original Homes Goods, and the manager told me I had to carry in carbon copy the tax-exempt paper. Other Home Goods look at their system to check if my School credit card with the Tax-except number and online copy matches with the online account under the School district. He was not very friendly to hear me and refused to process. Good luck selling the broken light! Plus, I noticed this place already has low reviews stars. read more

i always find something here. It's usually something for my garden, now and then it's for the kitchen. I have tried to find bedding many times and have always come away empty handed. I just can't find a place that sells high end duvet covers. There are lots of folks that find things because the check out line is so, so long and slow! read more

I purchased a desk from Home Goods but could not take it home with me because my car was too small. So I gave them a credit card to run and hold the purchase. I called them within 24 hours to tell them I wouldn't be in until the weekend as I was headed up that direction for my mom's bday. At that time, they notified me that unfortunately, an employee had knocked the leg off of the desk. They offered to refund the purchase to my card (on file) or I could come and look at it and decide if I wanted them to fix it and offer me a damage discount. I stopped in and took a look at it and decided I would take the refund as it seemed beyond repair. When I got to my mother's bday I looked at the total and they only refunded me for the desk portion and not the chair that goes with the desk (even though this was on the total). I did not leave with the chair so I called them and told them I wanted them to refund me the chair as well but do so over the phone. They refused to do this for me (even though they would have processed the refund without me coming in to see the desk, over the phone??). They made me, 9 months pregnant drive all the way back to the store in order to get the refund of the chair. The store was packed! I am a high risk and the fact they wouldn't help me and offer this as a convenience to their mistake really bothered me. I usually love this store but I really couldn't wrap my brain around the lack of customer service and "working with me" to make this right. read more

I'm pretty sure half of the decorations in my house are from TJ Maxx & Home Goods. You can find really cool stuff for pretty reasonable prices. So if your looking for an odds or ends of stuff for your home then this the place to go. read more

Selection is ok, but lines are so long all the time no matter what day or time it is. I've spent 40 mins shopping only to leave everything and walk out because I'm not trying to wait for 30 people to check out before I can buy my stuff. They've lost money from me and others I am sure. I'm spending money so I shouldn't have to wait any longer than a few mins to pay for it. read more

I used to love shopping at TJ Maxx/Home Goods because of the variety and quality of unique furniture and home items. I am in interior design, so I shop here weekly. I shop for my clients spaces, so there are times when my client doesn't like a particular accent color or simply change their mind about a style. That's when I return items, with a receipt, of course. The number of items I purchase and keep for my clients far outweighs the items I have returned, however, as of late, I'm being made to feel that when I'm making a return I've done something wrong. Twice recently, the employee at the register called a manager over to "approve " the return I was making, (with a receipt) and the manager stood behind the employee throughout the entire transaction, looking through all my items (I don't know what she was looking for) but as I left, both the employee & manager at the register were very rude and had an extremely suspicious and accusatory tone. They immediately huddled together as I left, again going through the items with whispered tones. This behavior is just embarrassing for a manager, for any employee for that matter. I'm tired of rude employees and bad customer service. Your store policy is clear about returns and I followed the return guidelines. I shouldn't be treated like I've done something wrong or be shamed and treated rudely for making a return. That behavior from a corporation manager and an employee is unacceptable. The second time I was making a return I literally got an eye roll from the employee, and she was so incredibly rude I almost walked out the door. I was fuming. Her attitude was literally hateful and again, called the manager over to oversee the transaction, of which I had a receipt for. After my last experience at TJMaxx, I was so offended (I take this personally as I am a regular customer and a frequent shopper,) that I cancelled my TJMaxx credit card. I will not be a frequent shopper here anymore. Jennifer was unbelievably sour, coughing through the whole transaction. Sarcasm emanating from her. I'm so over bad employees who are angry because they hate their job and are just trying to make someone else feel as miserable as them. Some customer service training might benefit your employees AND managers too!! I can shop elsewhere and actually be treated politely and respectfully by employees who are glad you are bringing them your business!!!!! Done with rude. read more

This particular store is much nicer then the average TJ Max. Very big store with a big variety of everything. Lots of good deals on name brand stuff. They have a home store as well where you can get sheets, dishes, etc. I got a 200$ north face coat for 100$!! read more

Call me crazy but I like the discombobulated, messy, cluttered TJ Maxx downtown over this slick huge store. I felt like it was MUCH harder to find anything marked down here, at least on the home side. And I am one of those people who won't pay full price even when I am already inside a discount retailer. I know where all the pockets of marked down merch are downtown (and they are plentiful in each department), and I frequently walk away with steals. But with lines as long as they were in Broomfield, the traffic is obviously much higher, so I'll stick to my other location in hopes of finding buried treasures with multiple layers of red clearance stickers. read more

okay I was bored a few months back and there was nothing else to do, so I figured what the hell.. I haven't been to a TJ Maxx since I was a little girl, but it went bust in Aiea, HI. I went into this place to check out what HomeGoods had to offer and was presently surprised. I found truffle oil at half the price of Whole foods and Target and great Gourmet seasonings, olive oils and other tasty spices. I love this place. It's like a cheaper version with great brands from Pier 1 Imports and World Market. We needed a new temp wok and couldn't find a big enough one at Target, so I told my hub's to check out Home goods until we find a good one that we really want. For now we just needed a cheap fast one to make some easy fried rice. Well we found a pretty darn good one at Homegoods for only 12 bucks.. even the regular price at $24 would've been good, but I have to say, we've been using it constantly for the past 2 1/2 weeks and it's getting the job done fantastically! Wow usually you get what you pay for, but hey we didn't think it would last more than 5 times and we are getting more than our moneys worth for sure. read more

Somehow I always find myself back here, and I don't mind it at all. There are so many hidden gems that await, you just have to dig. Like the merchandise, sometimes is very messy. The lines are often long and not enough cashiers.

I've spent the past two weekends looking at ugly purses. Not to say that TJ Maxx didn't have it's share of tacky bags, but I just bought a $500 Michael Kors bag here for 100 bucks. And it's green. TJ Maxx, you stole my heart. read more

Came into this TJ Maxx for the first time being in one of their store in over 5 years!!! Ummmm why the heck did i ever stop shopping here!? I love this place! I came in searching for a few dresses for a funeral, thinking to myself... it's the beginning of august I'm not gonna find anything black, boy was I wrong! I made it back to the dressing room with 8 dress options and found 2 black dresses ($20 each) that I really loved and a little blue dress with flowers ($16.99) for another occasion! Win freaking win!!! The fitting rooms were very nice and clean and I actually liked the way I looked in their mirrors in the clothes... that never happens! When I met back up with the boyfriend and the daughter he had found some awesome Jordan shorts for $9!!!! Whaaaaaat? Done and done! In the checkout line they had a huge wall of $.99 reusable shopping bags with fun patterns so I grabbed 3 of those! I love reusable bags and will always find reason to grab a new one! The vw van pattern was my fav! So many great unexpected finds here that if I ever need something last minute again I know I'll be able to stop in here and find something great every time! read more
