I had waited a long time to get my hair done for several reasons. Time, money, bad past experiences, etc. However I got my hair done by Lex I believe last Saturday, and I just have to say she was amazing! One of my employees recommended this salon to me, and I was in desperate need of a cut. Lex gave me a gorgeous hair cut, did a hair treatment for me, and I left with my hair feeling better than it genuinely has ever felt. She was super friendly and helped me with my questions and concerns about my damaged hair. Will for sure be back with her, it was a really great experience! Very cute salon too, super relaxing and radiated fun positive energy! read more

I finally found my hair dresser in Colorado for Balayage.!! Kenzie and the people in the salon are friendly and amazing! Kenzie is an expert in what she does - she gets to first understand you and what you are looking for. In addition to that also advises you on what is best for YOUR hair. I have to be honest mine was damaged and dull and she did her magic and I love it. It is alive again, soft, light and great color for the summer - just like I wanted. I shall be back! I chose this place and the stylist (Christina, the owner) based on reviews, and I was not disappointed. Christina is welcoming, kind, and funny. After I told her what I was looking for with cut and color, she reiterated the plan at each step and explained her process throughout. The end result was exactly what I asked for. I can't recommend her and the salon enough. I don't live in Colorado but I'm thinking about flying back whenever I need a hair fix! read more

I was getting my hair colored here for several months. If you're a person of color I would steer clear of this salon. The owner will you call you "ghetto" & doesn't want those "type of clients" at her salon. It gives a very "whites only" vibe. read more

Brooke Pelton has cut my hair for years: when I wore it exclusively in a very straight, sleek, chiseled bob, to now, as I've let it go to my natural, very (very) curly texture. Brooke always makes my hair (+ me) look terrific. She really solicits *my* hair goals, welcomes pictures, and is responsive, never taking offense if I ask for a change. Plus, Brooke is a delightful, kind, sweet, funny person, so spending time with her is a treat. Absolutely recommend Brooke; I am super vain and my hair looks great! read more

Kenzie is my girl!!!! She is so efficient and talented at what she does!! Let me just say it's not easy finding a hair stylist that does it all!! I've been going to her for about two years now, but before her I couldn't find a hairdresser out here to save my life. I wouldn't trust my hair with anyone but Kenzie. She also does an amazing job with my color and is very thorough at explaining everything. I recently got extensions put in to help with fullness, and I couldn't be happier with the amazing job she did! If you're looking for someone that finally gets hair, Kenzie is your stylist!!!! read more

Christina is phenomenal at her craft! Going from very blonde to Little Mermaid Red and back isn't an easy task. So. Much. Warmth. Okay everyone, listen up. You have to get your hair done here by Kenzie. Run, don't walk, to your phone (or use the one in your hand) and call and make an appointment with this miracle worker. I am VERY picky about my hair. I've had a lot of horror stories, and am so choosy about my stylists. I moved here in the last year and hadn't yet found a stylist. I stumbled on Kenzie's page and thought I'd give her a try... only thing is I needed my hair done for last minute engagement photos, so I didn't think she'd have an opening. I HATE booking last minute because it's not really fair to stylists who already work so hard. She was able to squeeze me in though, and she now has a forever (at least while I still live in Colorado) client. When my hair was dry, she took my little suggested tweaks to the cut, and seriously perfected what I wanted. The color is the quintessential golden, sun-kissed blonde that I always want but can never quite get with other stylists. Kenzie herself is such a sweetheart, and works quickly. The salon is modern, clean, and has perfect touches of copper throughout . LOVE. Thank you so much Kenzie! read more

I was a little nervous switching to a New stylist and my hair was a mess after some health problems and neglect lol. Brianna was great, she listened, told me what was possible and what to expect and my hair looked fantastic when she was done! I'll definitely be back! Thank you! read more

I've been coming to see Kenzie at The Beauty Lab for a few years now and I always have such a great experience. The salon is welcoming, easy to get checked in, and there's always so much laughter going on. Kenzie has always done such a fabulous job with my hair. She has colored and cut it exactly how I've wanted and it looks amazing everytime I leave my appt. If you're looking for a salon, this is definitely your new go to! The vibes are so good here! I won't go anywhere else because I've been treated so well here. Do yourselves a favor and book your appointment there, you won't be disappointed! read more

OKAY LISTEN UP!!! This salon is absolutely amazing. I read reviews on here before I went in and read on one review that Kenzie is a "hair angel". Okay so yes after the countless positive reviews with similar descriptions of Kenzie's work I knew I just had to give her and this new salon a shot! She was so funny and nice and worked SO fast! I showed her a picture right when I sat down and she NAILED IT! I am in love with my hair more than I ever have been and feel truly beautiful. OK, so I never wrote a yelp review before but felt like Kenzie (also the owner Christina!) deserved one heck of a review. I paid hundreds of dollars for a botched "copper" at another salon and Kenzie was there to rescue me.. and my hair! She's so bubbly and her laugh is absolutely contagious. I knew as soon as we got going that I found my go-to girl for all hair needs :) read more

This salon is top-notch notch. When I walked in, I was struck by the stunning decor and the open space filled with natural light. It's a beautiful, relaxing environment that makes you feel good before you even sit in a chair. The expert stylists will take such great care of you. They listen when you tell them what you want for your hair, and then they provide suggestions and discuss options with you based on their expertise. I have been thrilled with my cut and color services and love that they use Davines products. Whether I'm just going in for a trim or a completely new style, I always leave The Beauty Lab in love with my hair. read more

I have been going to Christina for over 3 years now and I have never been less than ecstatic when leaving her chair. She is a joy to be around and she loves what she does. Her talent and precision always shows in her work. I have loved every color and cut - I tend to change my hair a lot and she always delivers. I can't ever imagine going to someone else for my hair. (Or using anything aside from their product line - Davines. It's a god send) The salon is cozy, clean, and has such a relaxing and fun atmosphere. AND they provide easy online booking with appointment reminders! Pfft. So wonderful. I couldn't recommend this place enough! Seriously, 10/10 consistently! read more

The salon itself was a little odd, stations unusually close together and felt very on display to the outside world, and then I went with my stylist Kenzie into a strange back room that seemed like more of an office, not out with all the other stylists. Kenzie is *very* personable and I enjoyed my time with her immensely. I was happy with my hair as I left, but in the next week or so I had a lot of trouble styling it in a way that didn't look like "the Rachel" from 1997. The 'face-framing layers' went too far back and it was pretty impossible to get anything other than a shag, with the back abruptly longer. A friend teased me that I had a Rachel-mullet. It wasn't terrible and the only way to fix it would have been to go shorter all over, so I just lived with it, and it wasn't the end of the world. I feel like these days so many stylists are focused on color (which definitely does take expert training and focus), but I'm happy with my color. What I need is a precision cut, and this was sadly not it. The search continues! read more

I see Elena for lashes and she does a fantastic job. Light glue application, even lash throughout to give a natural look.

There's no where else to go for cuts! Sometimes they don't call back which can be a negative, but they do have great stylists.

I have dark brown hair and I went to see Kenzie for balayage to add light highlights throughout. When I left the salon, my hair was a bit lighter throughout but there was none of the noticeable balayage highlights that I was expecting. It almost looked like a single shade unless I was standing under very bright lights. I contacted Kenzie and she agreed to do another balayage on my hair without charge (which was great I thought, until I saw the result). Now my hair is half brown/half orange, with an uneven line across my head where the brown becomes orangey yellow. This is NOT what I expected to see after an expensive balayage coloring service, where the colors should blend throughout. Kenzie seemed to think this was a great result. I'm attaching pictures so others can see the quality of the service I received. I'm desperately seeking another salon/stylist who can correct this mess. read more

I made an appointment with Jennifer, she cut too much off my hair, and was lopsided when I came home.
