DO NOT GO FOR PEDICURE. I went in for a gel pedicure, and it was the worse experience I have ever had. They aren't set up for a traditional pedicure experience; it is a very thrown together set up. The lady didn't even know correct pricing (the pricing I was given was much higher than their website), she had a very hard time getting my old gel off (which is never an issue), I question if she was even qualified, none of the equipment was in cleaning solution or prewrapped (how many people had it been used on prior). I never write reviews for companies, but due to the terrible service from this company had to. My mother and I came into this salon and instantly felt uncomfortable due to lack of communication. None of the hair stylists said one word to us. I overheard one of the woman working make a blatant racist comment to one of her customers and fellow coworkers. I've been getting my hair done by Chanel for almost a year now after moving away from my stylist of 20+ years. I found her on Instagram searching for Redken specialists in the area. I'm not sure if Chanel was even born when I started seeing my original stylist, but this girl knows what she's doing. She's friendly, very sweet, listens carefully and executes with skill. Although the shop itself is a little outdated, checking in/out is easy and they offer many services and cute products to peruse through while you wait. I'm really excited to see what the new shop looks like. Every employee there I've dealt with is friendly and helpful. WORST SALON EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! Elevate Hair Studio couldn't care less about the damage to my hair and turning it green! I went in for a highlight and blue streak touch up. She pulled the bleach all the way through to the ends and left it on to long. This caused the ends to be really damaged and porus. Breakage and bad tangling now! The blue streaks were minimal and all in 1 area but since she didn't rince it well and didn't use a sealer it blead on to my ends. This turned my ends green!!! This is NOT OK. They offered 2 dates to correct and one didn't work at all the second I was really sick! I still am and have to get a chest x ray now for this flu/bronchitis. The owner Shelly took this personally and said she will not refund anything about this ( even after admitting I was overcharged for bleach) she said she will give me a bottle of conditioner. I had a terrible experience at Elevate. I could have had a better haircut at Great Clips. I showed Jolene a picture of the ombré color I wanted and my hair turned orange. I tried to tell her that I wasn't happy but she seemed disinterested and kept checking her phone. Ultimately I called the owner a few days later and she basically said "too bad, so sad." If you have SHORT hair - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I called to schedule a haircut and asked specifically for someone with knowledge with short hair. When I arrived I sat in the chair and asked the stylist to confirm she had experience with short hair only to find out she blatantly lied to me! I had a picture of my hair (from every angle) from my last haircut! Showing her exactly what I wanted - of my own last haircut! She didn't know what she was doing and cut the top/back to 1/2 inch in length near my cowlick (when it was supposed to be 2-2/12 inches long there. She also cut sections of my hair 1 inch shorter randomly throughout my hair and gave me bangs (I didn't have bangs!) After the worst haircut of my life I asked through tears, I thought you said you cut short hair and she said, "I have cut a couple (2) mom bobs (meaning chin length bobs - never having cut short hair! I didn't even get an apology from her and was so distraught I have to live with this. I might have to shave my head as I at least know it would look better. I beg you, if you have short hair avoid this studio and regardless, know the staff will lie to seem competent in areas they are not. read more

My hair was orange/gold/black, that awful color you get when you lift black box dye out of your hair. I had an appointment with Brandie. Upon arrival I was greeted and offered a beverage. Brandie was very sweet and introduced herself. She was able to blend together 2 different colors, red and brown so I would have an ombre/highlight look while still having business casual hair. I have NEVER been happy with a salon before, and usually avoid them at all costs. Brandie listened to everything I said and not only did she get the EXACT color I was asking for, she used a shampoo I wanted to try, left my hair in better condition then it was when I arrived as well as stayed an hour late to just finish my color. I will never go anywhere else, I am so lucky I found this salon and Brandie!!! read more

Very nice Salon, friendly stylists. However, my hair cut was done by a newer stylist and the cut did not turn out well at all (hair was longer on one side etc). However, when I let the salon know I was disappointed they scheduled me with someone else who fixed it the next day (and they did not charge for this). Which I thought was great! The reason for the 3 instead of a 4 star rating is that I still feel (even though the stylist was new) that the original cut should have been better. I would expect that service from someone still in beauty school but not someone at a professional salon. I don't feel that anyone should have to "take a chance" on a new stylist when paying salon prices. The stylist who fixed my cut was great and because of her I would go back to the salon again. So yes, I would recommend this salon but I would recommend requesting someone who has been there for a while. read more

Don't go for nails! Went to get my shellac redone and they don't do any type of nail designs, didn't remove my cuticles, just took off old polish and put on new and it cost me $ 35.00... Nail Tech was nice but I think that because it's in a salon they expect people to pay more.. Not worth it! read more
