Dudley is my hairstylist and I'd follow her all over Denver if I had to! I was serviced by Dudley at a different salon when the original person I booked was unavailable. I got so lucky because she is amazing at what she does and very well-rounded. I showed her some inspo pics and what I was interested in, and I walked away so happy! I have extremely difficult hair to work with ,so I have spent the better part of my life trying to find a hairstylist that can tame my unruly mop into something presentable. Bailey not only tamed my mop, but actually gave me hair that I get complimented on *all* the time now. She is seriously a miracle worker! My hair is super thick, dry but oily, while being straight and wavy. Somehow she gave me a cut that makes it air dry beautifully and style quickly. And she took me from a color that my previous stylist was using that was way too dark to one that matches my skin tone better and seriously shaved at at least five years off my age. This was my first hair cut in Denver and I'm sold on this place AND on Tristen, who gave me the most mesmerizing shag haircut with absolutely adorable micro bangs. Also, my first razor cut and I was over the moon about it! Everyone was so friendly, and as a girl who booked last minute with the first available hairstylist and didn't really know what she wanted (other than my hair is very fine, frustratingly greasy, and I have no time to spend on it), he knocked it out of the park--and on a style that's not his expertise nonetheless (although I beg to differ!). I could not have been more impressed or grateful. As most of us know, a haircut is such a powerful, transformative thing. It can change the way you see yourself and the way you present to the world. Alonso saved the day! Long story short, I went to Salon Vo and the owner Vo messed up my hair bad that I almost cried. The cut was uneven everywhere and it looks like a rat chewed into my hair. And what's worse is that he didn't even offer to have it fixed, nor do I trust him to touch my hair ever again. Then I remember Alonso cut my hair a while ago and I knew I had to contact him. I requested a gloss and haircut. I got no haircut and my hair was dyed. I was sold product that I didn't need nor want and was told I'd be able to return. The product was never opened or used. Brand new. When I went to return it they took the product back but did not return my money. I used to really like this salon. Its an extremely expensive lesson to learn not to trust them. read more

I got my hair done by Cait, and couldn't recommend her more! Cait specializes in shags, which is a dream come true for any alternative baddies, but she also helped me with a color correction from a vibrant color I could no longer maintain (red -- IYKYK) to lived in spicy cinnamon perfection! I was blown away by how flexible & accommodating Cait was, and the cherry on top is her amazing personality! Cait is one of those people you could talk to about anything & nothing for hours which, thank god, because hair sometimes takes hours to do. I've really struggled with my hair in the past, both because it's something I've felt disconnected from while simultaneously feeling like it ruled over a lot of my self-confidence. I loved being a vibrant red girly while I could make it last, but Cait helped me find my happy mid-point with more life than my natural color could offer, but something I'm able to maintain on my timeline & budget. I felt right at home from the moment I sat in her chair (maybe it was the crystals at her station & overall perfectly homey aesthetic of the salon, but I digress) & it only got better from there!
