I've been going to Fleur for a couple of years now and have had a great experience! Andy is so friendly at the front and always remembers what I like to drink. I started with a different stylist, but had a connection with Joshua, so when my other stylist left, I immediately booked with Joshua. He's done such a great job with my hair and I'm not exaggerating that every single month I get a comment from a stranger on how good my hair looks! I've now moved away, and I'm so scared to go to a different salon because I doubt anyone will do as good of a job. read more

Always love the way I look when I leave Fleur! While I typically see Tommy, I have had services from Courtney, Brandon and Joshua, as well. (Everybody needs a little vacay from time to time, eh?) So happy to have discovered Fleur when I moved to D 5 years ago. As a sign in their shop states: good hair doesn't happen by accident, it's by appointment! Book one :) read more

I have been going to Fleur Salon for over 2 years. I had a death in my family and had to cancel the last minute and the auto charged my credit card for 160.00! I will never be back to this salon! This is greed and gross! I will how ever despite this charge! read more

We have been repeat customers of Fleur Salon for years (see prior review). Kristianna, Tommy, and Brandon have all been wonderful!! Unfortunately, our experience with Joshua T left much to be desired in terms of customer relations. His technical skill is not in question (although he did leave a funky bit on my son's sideburn area, see photos), but the upsetting part was that he seemed defensive of his work when no criticism was given. My son came in with very long hair and a few reference images & photos (some verbal descriptions given as well, i.e. requested an undercut, but long on top with lots of layers). Joshua had a dismissive attitude towards some of the reference images and seemed quite testy with our attempts to explain the goal look. Clearly we did a bad job of communicating the goal cut, because at midpoint of the haircut he stated we were "asking for a completely different haircut" when he asked for feedback. It turned an exciting day my son had been anticipating into a stressful disappointment and he did not come away feeling like he'd gotten what he'd hoped for. Perhaps Joshua could work on taking the honest feedback that he requests during a session in a more constructive manner. read more

Such a fun experience. So excited for my new rings and loved the laid back class and hands on assistance.

I had the most wonderful experience with Courtney Keith- she gave me a full hair makeover with a beautiful green ombre color and the exact cut I wanted. Her vibe was fantastic and the haircut she gave me was like she pulled it directly from my own brain! I couldn't be happier with the results. read more

Courtney, she knows what she is doing! My hair is always commented on for its shinyness, cut and color.

As someone who constantly travels for work I found myself in a stressful situation when I needed to find a new stylist in Denver. I took a risk and found Joshua. Now I find myself reworking my Denver trips so I can get a cut every time I'm in town. Every time I leave his chair I feel like a more handsome version of myself. I can't wait for my next appointment. Thank you for the confidence boost, Joshua. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Fleur Salon for six years now and simply cannot say enough good things about this place and the people in it. Annie Thomas is a true gem and has always been able to execute exactly whatever I've hoped for when I'm ready to make a change, whether I come with photos and specifics or just loose ideas. I consider myself to be pretty inept when it comes to styling, and Annie always answers my questions and gives helpful tips and suggestions without making me feel foolish, even when I literally asked her how to properly blow dry my hair. She's incredibly talented at what she does while also being very down to earth, easy to talk to, and sweet - truly the jackpot in a hairstylist! I've also seen several other stylists for routine bang trims (complementary, what a gift!) and have always been pleased with the outcome and the time each person has taken to make sure I'm happy with the result, whether or not I see them regularly. I've recommended Fleur to several friends over the years and have also heard the same from them, including my friend who even came to get styled on her wedding day. This place really sets the standard for a quality experience and incredible customer service (special shout out to Andy, who is super warm and helpful and always remembers me!) I also have learned over the years that the staff regularly donates their time and services to several local nonprofits and great causes which makes me love them even more. Book the appointment - you will not be disappointed! read more

Brandon was great and gave me exactly the cut I was looking for on my first trip in. Will definitely be back.

Oh yelp! .....After going to a few salons in Denver over the course of living here for three years I never really found one I loved, or made me love my hair for that matter. After doing my yelp research I discovered Fleur Salon, and hair stylist Andrea. My hair looks and feels amazing....I got a cut and a partial highlight, and couldn't be happier. She did exactly what I asked which was a little trim, long layers and lighter brighter blonde highlights. Andrea was so informative and helpful, I ended up buying some color products when I left. My hair went from mousey to fabulous in a few hours. This was my first time here and I'm getting married in two weeks. I honestly can't believe how much I lucked out! Looking forward to going back in a few weeks. Ladies, if you are still on a hair salon mission do yourself a favor and make an appointment w Andrea! read more

This was my first time here and it was a very positive experience. Stephanie listened carefully to what I wanted (including the minimum trim) and did everything with expert execution. I got a root touch up - balayage style and loved it. Also she is just a joy to work with. More like a potential best friend with tons to laugh over and talk than a person you just met to do your hair. I confidentially recommend her services to anyone. read more

School was starting soon-- I needed a new look for sure! I was looking for the best-- in the shortest amount possible. I was lucky enough to squeeze in on a Wednesday morning, I booked through the online website. Lucky to have confirmed my appointment, I got Lauren. Firstly, I am honored to call out Lauren for her featherlight hands. I couldn't feel a thing with her handling my hair. Very gentle! I showed her numerous photos, she was very close to the photo. I wanted a red ombré with fire red and blonde bottom. I got a warmer color, and very light bottom, I think it came out OH,oh, oh so cute! Very similar to the photo, can't stress that enough! The salon is animal friendly, the owner uses lots of cruelty free brands, I loved the Wella shampoos and conditioners that Lauren used-- the whole experience felt fast and did not drag on! I loved it. I'm sorry I didn't come sooner! As soon as the hair was done, one of the owners was stunned and asked for photos, I can definitely say I was in love. read more

I came in this morning not really knowing what I wanted to do with my hair but I knew I wanted to change. I threw some things out to Kirstyn And she helped explain better expectations as to what that hair color change would look like on me. But then she went the extra step and gave me some counter suggestions. I felt so comfortable with her, I told her to do whatever she thought looked best. I am so glad I trusted her. I left that salon feeling relaxed and with a gorgeous head of raspberry hair! I cannot thank her and her amazing salon more for my brand new hair!!! read more

LAUREN is the BEST!!! I come to her for natural looking balayage. She listens to what I want and somehow always makes my hair look better than the picture I have in my head! I always say natural but really bright...which is somewhat of an oxymoron since my natural color is a medium brown. See my most recent pic. I've been coming to Lauren for about a year and I've always been more than impressed! The staff are all very nice and welcoming. The only thing could make this salon better would be a free parking lot, but in Capital Hill you should expect meter parking! read more

I can't believe I've never written a review for this place! I've been here three times and have referred countless of my friends here as well. The store is well kept, decor is super cute and modern, and they do a great job here. There are plenty of street parking right outside and they are metered parking but I've never had trouble finding a spot. My hairstylist, Devon, is wonderful! She is so hardworking, talented, and sweet. I am glad we were paired together since the beginning! She has cut my hair twice and each time I feel like a new person. She is very good at recommending styles that will suit my face and is very efficient. Not to mention, she gives quite a good hair wash as well. I also had Devon give me balayage and even over half a year later, the color is still going strong and I love it! I would highly recommend this place for your hair needs and you will not go wrong. For my haircuts, it's only $40 which isn't bad because I only get my hair cut about twice a year haha. read more

Fleur Salon - Thanks Devon! - Hair Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Ummmm yes yes yes. This salon met all of my hair care needs!! I'm not really the type of person who has a specific hairdresser; I constantly shop around and try out different spots just because. But that miiiiiiight stop now because I had such a positive experience with Devon. I really look forward to returning (for once). I called day of and asked if there were any openings, and they were kind enough to fit me in. There were only a couple other clients in the building, so it was pretty quiet.. Not too quiet with the radio playing, just relaxing enough. I was met with a smile from the receptionist and then Devon took over -- asking me exactly what I was looking for in a cut and color, explaining different ideas and options to nr, getting me complimentary wine, filling up my car meter when it ran out of time, cutting my hair beautifully, checking ingredients in all the hair products for gluten, massaging my head and neck during the wash -- all the while entertaining me with anecdotes and listening to my own life story. It was like a therapy session. I felt invigorated when I walked out the door. For my cut (not just a trim but an actual cut), full highlights, blow dry + style, and hair product (10% off one product if you check in on Yelp), it totaled around $170. Not bad at all considering the amount of work that was done and the quality experience I had. I definitely recommend this salon. It's bright and modern and comfortable and fun and focused on amazing customer service. I'll be back! read more

My hair saga is too long to go into but let me just say after a few stylists and salons, I found Garrett! He tackled someone else's "disaster" and remained confident which made me feel safe. Devon Smith is absolutely phenomenal!!! And perhaps the best stylist in Denver. She listens carefully, executes your agreed upon haircut with precision, and delivers exceptional service and results. I was actually cutting my own hair for 20 years because I couldn't find anyone who styles, cuts, and cares like Devon does. Now I go see her every 3-4 weeks. Her professionalism, perfectionism, and quality of service are unsurpassed by any stylist I have ever met. After I see Devon I feel exhilarated and confident, knowing that I look my best and am ready to tackle life. As a single guy, I know the importance of looking good and I truly value what Devon consistently does for me at every appointment. She is so good I tip almost the full cost of the haircut! Not right for sophisticated blondes who need nuanced and thoughtful color. Stylist just dumped both base and highlight color on hair in some strange combination, and then left for the basement for the next 25 minutes--never came back to check on foils. Then proceeded to put on a toner that turned my preferred golden blonde to ash--what was she thinking? Look elsewhere! read more

Tommy and Andy are amazing!! I happened to walk by the salon and thought it looked like a beautiful spot and I was looking for a new hair dresser so I called and made an appointment with Tommy. Not only was he very knowledgeable and professional, he also took extra time to ensure my hair looked perfect. I have found the person who will be doing my hair for as long as possible. Color is perfect, haircut is beautiful, and I felt wonderful after leaving. Thank you both for such an amazing time and for fixing and making my hair look gorgeous again. read more

I'm so obsessed with this salon! I moved here from LA back in 2014 and was super hesitant to find a new stylist. After doing some research I found Kristianna at Fleur Salon! And honestly, she's totally changed my hair for the better. I've got super curly dry hair that was always unhealthy from all the straightening and styling. Kristianna helped bring my hair back to life, and before my wedding in 2015, my hair was the longest and healthiest it's ever been.... I've been coming here ever since. Kristianna is so talented, and what I love most is her genuine honesty when it comes to certain cuts, colors and styles. Get your hair done here, you won't regret it! read more

Little integrity and poor styling - I called for a consultation and asked if I could end up with balayage. They said fine and that it would be $200. When I went to get it done, it ended up not being very different than when I came in. They still charged me and I left. I was thinking about how it wasn't what I wanted so I went back to get it fixed. She put the color on and then left me with an apprentice. Once the apprentice was done toning, no one checked on me and I left. After a few days I chatted with the stylist about how it still was like little pieces of lighting and not what I had asked for. I asked if i would be charged for it and she said yes. I said I wouldn't have originally paid if I knew it'd be a long process that was 200+ dollars. I didn't hear back so two days later I called and spoke with Andrew. He explained that it's not able to lighten or reach what I wanted and 2 or more sessions was normal. He said with my hair history, it's probably not possible to get that look for a while. I told him that I was told it would work and he apologized and said that it it had been a master stylist that would have been communicated. He said the best option he could give me, since I could't spend a lot, was to meet with an apprentice a few times. I said no thank you. I eventually went to another salon 1 week later and the pictures show what my hair looked like after Fluer and what it looked like after the other salon that could lighten it enough in a healthy way. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the salon not owning up to it but still offering me options to spend my money there. read more

I am very happy with my recent experience at FLEUR. When I called, I asked for a Balliage and was referred to Annie, and I could not be happier. Not only does my new color look fantastic, but my cut is the best I've had in years! The salon was serene and calm. There were not 500 blowdryers going at once. It was quiet, great music, easy to chat. Annie completely understood what I was going for and exceeded my expectations! I recently went to Fleur for cut and color, and all the great reviews are well deserved! Annie gave me a cut, and I had to come back another time for a longer appointment with Andrea to get my hair bleached. They were both amazing, treated my hair very gentle and gave me great advices in the process. Both times I left with way healthier and more beautiful looking hair. Everyone who works in this salon is extremely nice and friendly. I do think they have wine, since I overheard another client asking for it (which is just a nice thing to offer your clients). And as far as prices go, I was very pleasantly surprised! Bleach & tone were only $140. This is my first time going to hair salon in Denver after moving from NYC, so maybe I'm comparing the prices to already over-priced Manhattan salons, but I think for the service and quality I received the cost was very very reasonable. Overall, I definitely recommend this salon, and can't wait to go back in few weeks to get my roots touched up. read more

I am so, so happy right now. After having the same amazing colorist for 12+ years, I moved to Denver recently and had been putting off getting a haircut (even though I really badly needed one) because I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find someone who could color like my old stylist. Enter Fleur Salon and Kirstyn -- not only was I able to book an appointment within the week, but Kirstyn did SUCH an amazing job with my hair that my only regret is I didn't come here sooner. First, she asked so many careful, detailed questions about my hair and my color before we started that I knew I was in good hands. She ended up doing full foil highlights to give me a blonde, copper-tinged that looks INCREDIBLE, and gave me a *great* haircut as well. Everyone who works there seems so friendly and talented too. This will definitely be my go-to hair salon in Denver now, and I encourage everyone who's a little nervous about finding a new colorist to come here!! read more

I have sat with writing this review for about three weeks now. It's not my intent to hurt the stylist reputation. But, after being completely heartbroken over the TERRIBLE hair cut I received I decided it was fair to post this very honest and disappointing experience. I spent a few months in search of my "new salon". I was not in a huge hurry for change and I was growing my hair out. With all the amazing reviews and tons of 5 stars honestly, I just zipped right over the bad reviews. NOW, I can only wish I would have spent more time reading (I'll never make that mistake again) If even just a few of the bad reviews. As there was another reviewer whom seemed to have a similar experience. After reading all the "good" reviews I booked with Devon. For three weeks every time I have looked or touched the length of my hair I get very upset. Okay, it's "just hair" yes it "grows back". But, she chopped into my hair giving me layers I stressed I didn't want - some of the things I told her; I am growing my hair out and I want it all one length NO LAYERS. I just couldn't believe the experience. I couldn't believe getting the exact opposite of what I asked and further more getting exactly what I didn't want! I would never go back and I hope your smarter then I was and read or at least skim the other poor experiences, and choose not just another stylist more wisely but, I would choose a whole other salon! Good Luck! read more

Thank you Yelp for steering me to this salon. I enjoyed my appointment with Annie over the weekend for a balayage. She took her time to listen to what I was looking for and set me up with some pretty hair. The salon has parking out front (meters) and I would recommend walking or ubering to avoid the hassle of replenishing your meter and avoiding tickets. I liked the vibe of the salon; it was bright and cheerful with great music. The selection of Kerastase products is abundant along with the Wella line which is a more friendly price point. I'm happy to have found this place, I will definitely return for my hair needs. read more

I have to update my review because I have been getting my hair cut by Annie at Fleur Salon for the last 4 years and she is the best.
