After three years of being a loyal customer at this location--and consistently arriving at least 10 minutes early--I was recently marked as a no-show for an appointment. This appointment had been scheduled months in advance. When I received the 48-hour reminder text, I was in the middle of moving and in one of the busiest stretches of my work year. I immediately tried to call to cancel, but they were closed that day and there was no clear way to cancel through any other method. Because of everything going on, calling back the next day unfortunately slipped my mind. On the day of the appointment, they called me, and I apologized for missing it and explained the situation. During that conversation, it sounded like they might be able to work with me to avoid being charged for a service I didn't receive. However, a few days later I checked my bank account and saw that I had been charged the full amount. While I understand this may be their official policy, I reached out again to explain that I had attempted to cancel and had no available option to do so within the 48-hour window. What followed was a drawn-out process where I was consistently never called back in the time frame I was told and ultimately I was informed I would still be responsible for the full charge. After three years of loyalty--and even considering recommending them for my brother's upcoming wedding--this experience was extremely disappointing. read more

In a bit of a transitional phase with my hair and decided to try someplace new. Katrina helped me out with my shaggy short cut and made it fun and funky again. Complimentary beverages and a lovely hand massage while my hair was washed. Pleasant conversation throughout. Also they're a no tipping salon, which I love (living wage ftw!). Think I've found my new spot for cuts, and free cleanups in between for my short hair to boot! read more

Best salon experience I've ever had in Denver!!! Skylar made me so comfortable and gave me the perfect haircut, she is amazing! HIGHLY reccommend! read more

I have had the absolute best experience every time I've gone to three cutters on south pearl! So far I have had a life changing haircut with Skyler, an incredibly relaxing massage with Alejandra, and the best facial ever with Alyssa!! At all three appointments they took the time to ask in depth questions about my at home regiments and gave amazing recommendations for how to target my concerns. I will definitely be back for any beauty services I need in the future!! read more

Just had an eye lash and brow tint with Kate and I highly recommend! She got my color spot on, which is hard to do for blonde and fair skin. I usually leave a brow tint feeling like Eugene Levy but not today! She's also very friendly, professional, and highly skilled. I had no mess and no stinging, first time ever! I feel like I found my person again! read more

Erica is the best!! She made me feel really comfortable with my skin which is something I have a hard time with! I chose a custom facial and she was so so kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend! read more

Katrina is the best! I had recently began the search for a new stylist and I'm happy to say I've found her. I had messed up my bangs and have been in the long, hard process of growing them out. She listened to what I thought I wanted but gave thoughtful, alternative feedback and her suggestion was the correct one and I'm so happy with the results! read more

Go somewhere else. I spent $200-300+ a month here on services, products and more. I liked it and thought I had found a professional salon but when I got caught up at work and had to miss my first appointment ever they charged me and told me "too bad". They were rude and said some policy stuff to me. The medicaid taking PT I went to had more respect for me and my business then this salon. Their cancellation policy is unfair and rude. They just charged my card on file and said screw you and your business. Honestly I'm super disappointed. I wouldn't put my card on file because they don't respect the customers who go there for years and their reminders are an absolute mess. I get texts sometimes and other times nothing at all. They are good at getting reviews like a dentist, they have it set up in an automation but if you are looking for a high-end salon that respects business and return customers then this most definitely isn't the place. Go to a local salon. This is a farm and they have "rules and policies" like Frontier Airlines. For 70+ dolalr haircuts I thought I could expect more but nope. read more

I found three cutters on Instagram and reached out explaining how I had a bad haircut somewhere else and needed help finding a stylist who fit my needs. They gave me a call the following day and set me up with Katrina. I was able to get scheduled the next day! I went in this morning and Katrina went over what we could do with my hair. At this point, I had let it grow for about 5 weeks before getting the botched cut fixed, so we had some room to work with! I showed Katrina my inspo & how I like my hair. She fixed up the cut & helped me feel confident again! My hair is a little shorter than I usually like it, but that's just because we were fixing an already short cut. Although it's shorter, I still think it looks really good! I can't wait for it to grow out in the next few weeks. I will definitely be coming back. Then you for your help & such fun conversation! The vibe was awesome and I really enjoyed my appointment :) read more

Kate is a wonderful stylist and I highly recommend her! She understood what I wanted and is a true artist!

I had the most lovely experience at Three Cutters. Kim was so sweet, listened to exactly what I wanted and was excited for me and my new look. I walked out with a cut that was better than I could have imagined. I always say that you remember how people make you feel while details of what they said or did fade away. Besides being happy with my hair, every single person in this salon made me feel so good. They are warm and welcoming and seemed to really care about how I left looking and feeling. What a sweet bunch - I'm glad to continue to give them my business. read more

I could not recommend Three Cutters any higher! My skin had been feeling and looking dehydrated and it needed some good TLC with a facial. Erica was absolutely amazing. She was so professional and so relatable/personal at the same time. The ambiance in the room was os relaxing and calming. Not only did I leave with my skin feeling so rejuvenated and fresh, but my mood was also boosted. When leaving, I mentioned how I struggle with clogged pores at times and Erica recommended a product to help gently exfoliate a few times a week. This product is great! I could write a novel but the TL:DR version of this is: Look no further, you will love your experience and how your skin looks and feels after your visit. read more

Do not hesitate - book your next eyebrow appointment with Meghan now!! I grew my eyebrows out for two years (it wasn't pretty) and I was finally ready to get them shaped and looking better. When I booked my appointment with Meghan, I had no idea how they would look because my natural shape just isn't there. She was incredibly laid back and fun to talk to AND gave me a hand massage while we waited on the tint to do some magic! I can't express how shocked I was to see the shape that she made come out of nowhere! She is so professional and truly an eyebrow goddess (as evidenced by my before and after). I also got to see some lovely ladies leaving the salon with gorgeous cuts. Thank you Meghan!!!! I can't wait for my next appointment. read more

Erica has been doing my waxes for a year and has been amazing! She makes a not so fun treatment relaxing and enjoyable. Her eyebrow waxes are perfectly even and does a great job listening (and remembering) what you want! I didn't think my review mattered but having one of the worst haircuts of my life made me so traumatized I will never betray this salon again. I always enjoy the experience and expertise at this salon. Have been three times cutting my hair myself here and there and then today I wanted to go in but they only had availability the following week so I made an awful mistake and went to another salon. You can trust any stylist here to give you the exact haircut you ask for or better!!! It's worth the price. read more

I am a hairdresser of 30 years and I retired 6 years ago. I moved to Denver and have tried so many hairdressers I've lost count. I decided I needed to do some research before I went to another one. I found Three Cutters Salon. One thing different they did was, they posted finished haircuts from their clients. Imagine that! I looked at Jessica Rodriguez 's pictures, and wow! With my experience in hair cutting I knew right away that she knew how to cut hair and was extremely good at it! I was right! It's the best cut I've had in over 10 years! I highly recommend her and the Three Cutters salon, they have the highest of standards and treat their customers like royalty.. read more

After too many visits to strip mall eyebrow threading places, my eyebrows needed a little love...I grew them out for about 6 weeks to regrow some missing spots then made an appointment with Megan because of all her great reviews here on Yelp. Megan is definitely an eyebrow expert/Goddess/visionary...she will help you make a plan for eyebrows, but also make them look good in the meantime. The salon is in a little neighborhood, and you could almost miss the building if you aren't looking. The inside is fairly nice and you are greeted warmly and offered yummy Aveda tea/water. Make sure to make an appointment...it took me a little over a week to get in. read more

I hadn't got my hair cut in THREE years! I'm a low maintenance person when it comes to hair, and honestly have been somewhat intimidated by salons! I got used to my hair being "average" and lost hope in thinking I could look stylish or put together, and realized this might just be what's holding me back from looking how I'd like! So I decided to branch out an actually get it professionally cut. I did a search of salons online, and decided to give this one a try. I booked an appointment with Amy to get a long bob, which seems to be one of her strengths, and I agree. She was super friendly and nice and did a good job. I was welcomed with a cup of tea, had a good experience, and have actually been excited to go back and continue getting a fresh cut and discovering my style. I'm not a pro or totally confident in styling it, but already look more fresh and put together as it is. It's been a while since I've had no split ends and clean look, and I've underestimated how important this is-- I'm never "trimming" it myself again! I'm still learning my hair and how to get comfortable styling it in different ways, but I already feel like a new person, and feel a difference in my life simply having a professional clean, styled, and even cut that complements me. I'll keep going back and look forward to owning my hair :) read more

If I could give an additional star I would. I have been going to Three Cutters on Pearl for about a year now. I see Sarah for my hair and Justin for my eyebrows. Sarah is wonderful. She is consistently upbeat and takes pride in her work. I can always trust her to listen to and execute exactly what I want and she always provides me quality, honest feedback when I ask her for it. She also goes out of her way to show me ways to style my hair at home, including a demonstration of exactly how much product to use, tools & techniques to style, etc. Sarah always makes me feel welcome and always provides me a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Justin is fab. My eyebrows needed some major work when I started with him due to having waxed with my quick nail lady on the reg. Justin planned with me to grow out my brows over time for a natural brow shape. My eyebrows are naturally super light (I'm a redhead) so he also dyes them. We have had to figure out the right color over time but we finally have it. I personally think eyebrows are super important to your overall look, so I really appreciate the long-term planning and collaborating service Justin provides me. Justin is also just super fun. We usually giggle, have ridiculous conversations, and/or sing songs for the duration of my appointment. Three Cutters on Pearl has a very organized and efficient scheduling system, and the salon itself is always clean and never over-crowded. Kayla the receptionist always has a smile on her face. She's also great at recommending and applying makeup. This is a well-run, welcoming, and more than satisfactory salon and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new place. Much love and appreication to Three Cutters on Pearl! read more

With the pandemic , it's been over a year since I've come in and I don't think I'll be back. Previously, I saw Alison and followed her from her old salon. Upon learning that Alison had moved to the Sunnyside location, I went back to her old salon because I was already driving 40 minutes to get to Wash Park, there was no way I was making the drive another 20 minutes. The original salon didn't really give me the cut I wanted, so I tried Three Cutters again with a different stylist. I made an appointment with Jessica R at the recommendation of the receptionist. The cut went okay. I mean, I wasn't blown away, but I also didn't have any complaints. I had quite the sticker shock though at payment. Now, this is a "no tipping salon". Which doesn't really mean what you think it means. They work the tip into the set price, so whether or not you are happy, they get their rate. So if you're used to paying $60 and tip 20% for great service, you pay $72 total. Here, you don't have the option and you just are charged $75. This didn't bother me with Alison because I always got a stellar cut and she was still reasonable. Now imagine your stylist is rude, or your hair is crooked - no choice. Like I said, I had a good cut with Jessica and she was pleasant, so I probably would have tipped 20%. What made me angry was how overpriced she was. And that I was not made aware of the cost when she was suggested. Since then, I've gotten a series of emails to inform me that with promotions and seniority and however else they decide these things, she has raised her prices several times. I just don't see the value. I didn't see it at her old price, and I certainly am not tempted to try her again after several price increases. read more

Erica is the best! this is my second time receiving a facial from her, and my skin is always glowing afterwards. She's so friendly, easy to talk to, and her treatments are lasting in definitely worth it. Erica is very well versed and knowledgeable about Aveda products, as well as skin care and acne. Allison used to be my hairdresser and she was amazing! However, she left and I've been back two times with two different hairdressers and it has been a disaster both times. They charge an arm and a leg for their services. It's absolutely not worth it. My hair is a mess, it's uneven and too short. Even my eight year old would have done a better job. Disappointing doesn't even describe it!! I'm livid! Please avoid! read more

Three Cutters is a salon that has always treated me right. I've used their waxing services and they're my go-to place for my hair cuts. I'm a pretty low-upkeep person so leg waxes are perfect for me- grow it out, wax it off, grow it out, wax it off, etc. etc. Meghan was my esthetician and she's the coolest! I'd keep going back to Three Cutters just to hang out with her and catch up on our lives. She made the process of taking my pants off and exposing my overgrown leg hair to a stranger totally comfortable and laid back. Kami, currently working at the front desk is a natural with hair. She gave me a new cut when she was at the at the Tejon location and I love and trust her vision. I'm so looking forward to when she starts doing hair at the Wash Park location. read more
