Absolutely love Kelly! She did an amazing job with my eyebrow microblading (natural-looking, semi-permanent tattoo technique that resembles actual hairs). I'm so glad I found her, and I'd highly recommend her (and microblading in general) to anyone! It's not that anything was wrong with my eyebrows... I just was tired of lining them all the time to get that perfect, clean shape. We all need some definition there ladies. It's something that makes such a huge difference for your eye shape and face shape and general appearance -- and a lot of people don't really realize it until they try it on just half their face or compare photos. I used to be a ballroom dancer, and defined eyebrows were just a must for when we were going to be performing because they're the key to relaying facial expressions. It also just makes your face look more groomed and professional in a workplace setting (while still natural and not in a way anyone would attribute to makeup). So considering the amount of time and money I spent on lining my eyebrows -- without getting as good of an effect as this -- worth every penny in my opinion. This isn't what you're probably used to think of when it comes to tattoos: it looks completely like natural hair and Kelly does such an amazing job -- no one can even tell my eyebrows are microbladed until I explain what that is and tell them to look reaaaaaally close. They just always compliment me on how nice my eyebrows are. So whether your eyebrows are just a little sparse on the edges, or not quite shaped the way you want, or overplucked over the years, or even missing a piece for any reason -- Kelly is your girl. Honestly she's so awesome that I'm kind of sad I only need a touch-up every year or so and don't get to see her more regularly. Maybe I should bring my husband in for some eyebrow waxing in the meantime Oh and side note: if you DO plan to get this done, I highly recommend some painkillers (and I've gotten regular tattoos before without any kind of painkiller). You can't take ibuprofen or anything that thins your blood, so think either prescription strength things that contain oxy if you have some after an old surgery or something -- or a really good edible. Yes, they use a topical numbing cream, and that helps a lot -- but you'll thank me for the recommendation. read more

I talk to her on the phone and we come up with a day for me to come in. She could t do then because the skin was irritated. Rescheduled and she put me on a different day than what we agreed on. Having never really done any brow shaping professionally, it was cool to hear the tricks of the trade from a very friendly and gregarious Kelly. She gave the intro spiel about the founder of the company and how she was trained as an architect prior to changing interests to beauty and brow - shaping for face type. Apparently, I'm an over-tweezer and didn't know it. Kelly did a quick and clean job of my eyebrows, and today, a week later, they still look pretty good. I wish I asked about after care because I get little zits after people wax my face. This place only gets 4 because of the price. It's quite high-end, but it's in a Nordstrom, so what do you expect?
