I got my eyelash extensions done a couple of weeks ago they came out really nice! I went to the old location by accident so I was late by I think 10 minutes. The lash tech was really understanding and helped me find the new location. My only complaint is that I texted and asked for a follow up appointment and she told me she would ask the store owner to add the eye lash extensions that I wanted on the menu. I said ok sounds good and waited for a response. I still have not had a response and I have texted the tech and also called the store and no answer. I went there for extensions in the past and other services and did not have this problem. I was trying to give them business but I guess I have to go somewhere else. The positive reviews fooled me - my experience was awful. Booked the lash tint months in advance. Issues started with call few hours before appointment that the time needed to change because I was with the owner who was no longer taking new clients (then why did you schedule me??). And apparently I should have known this because of information on the cancellation page. Hmmm. The person I got didn't remove my eye makeup - asked her and she said it works through mascara. Except it didn't. Came home to racoon eyes and no tint left on lower lashes. When took off eyeshadow that night (had asked technician and she said okay to do and I was extremely careful) most of the upper lash tint came off. Total waste of my time and money. read more

Loved loved loved! I used to get my lashes tinted and lifted in San Francisco, but haven't found somewhere I like as much in Denver. I love the results from allure, Skincare, and lash. Chloe was really easy to talk to, and explain how I wanted things. She even let me take a work call in the middle of our session and helped me figure that out which I really appreciated. I've struggled with a lot of hip, back, and shoulder pain due to re-aggravating old job related injuries with exercise. I didn't think I'd ever find a massage therapist who could help me the way my regular MT did in my hometown. Then I met Allures' massage therapist Christina. She has helped me immensely with the use of deep tissue massage and fire-cupping. I absolutely love the people at this location. They're all incredibly personable, it's easy to have fun conversation with them all. UPDATE: I was called by management the same day I posted this review and they were so kind and understanding. They offered to redo the tint and I will be taking them up on that next week. Great customer service! I am disappointed with the results of my lash lift and tint. The lift was ok, and still looks pretty good a week later. However, the tint only lasted about 4 days, and during the service the tint was left on for the duration of one song (I used the music playing to estimate how long the tint was on). It's been one week since my service and the tint is completely gone. I feel like I spent a lot of money for something that didn't last. read more

Wherever Dayna goes, I will follow. Good aestheticians are hard to find and regular facials in Denver, aka the driest place I've ever lived, is very important. The coolest thing about Allure besides Dayna has got to be the fact that this Victorian house has been turned into a business but still feels like someone's abode. The large entryway and stairwell is perfect for checking in clients. Arrive early and wait in the sitting room. Once you're upstairs, there's different bedrooms set up for services. And the full bathroom is nice as well. When you go to Allure it feels like you're visiting a friend. It feels warm, friendly and inviting. It also helps that I go there to relax and look better :) Dayna's facials are amazing and I'm considering eyelash extensions as well as chiropractic care on future visits. read more

I will 1st preface this by saying I have very sensitive and unpredictable skin as I have an autoimmune disorder that causes my skin to get hives & rashes, so it's difficult for me to trust anyone with performing facials on me. But after seeing Tari for lash extensions, I knew my skin would be in good hands for facials. She LISTENS and really thinks about what will work best for me and tailors the facials to my skin's needs. Her facials are truly amazing. I've had many but the oxygen facial with dermaplane is my absolute favorite. My skin glows afterwards and it clears up any breakouts I may have at the time. I had high hopes for this place due to the ratings, but my lashes post my service have not been good. I received a fill for my eyelashes extensions about two days ago. They looked great after it was completed, but since then I have had at least 30+ of the extensions fall out. It seems that the adhesive they used it not good/quality as it is just the extensions that continue to come off and not the extension with my natural lash. I have had lash extensions multiple different times, I know how to take care of them post fills, but I have never had this happen. Every time I look in the mirror it seems another extension falls off, this is super frustrating since it was $75 for the fill. read more

I have had two Botox sessions with Diane Brewer at this salon and both turned out great. I know everyone's experience with Botox is different, but for me, the pain from the injections was negligible. I had no bruising or swelling and by the next day the small injection spots had completely disappeared. After about 7 days my forehead wrinkles greatly diminished, but my face doesn't look unnaturally frozen. I appreciated that Diane explained the entire process to me before we started and then walked me through it again as we proceeded. She took great care prepping me so that she knew exactly where to make the injections, and was gentle when touching my face. I don't know if I would describe the experience as enjoyable, because how enjoyable can having needles stuck in your face be? But I think Diane tried to make it as pleasant as possible. I will definitely be returning to Diane. Also, the Salon is really nice. read more

I really wanted to like the lash extension process and gave myself a few hours before reviewing. I can't say better things about my lash specialist. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the process and took her time explaining things to me because it was my first time. We agreed on the "classic lash" and got down to it. After two hours we were finished and she showed me the results. I was clearly taken aback at how long they were and that's when she told me she decided to go with the longer lash look. I know she is the professional but I believe this look was too dramatic for what I wanted. I don't have any events to go to and wanted it to look more natural. I wish the specialists would show you the lashes before putting them on so you could decide your own length. Or I wish she would have told me that was the look we were going with before or at least a little bit into the process. That being said, I might try again in a few weeks and make it more clear that I would like natural lashes. It just seems like a lot of money to spend on a look you didn't request. Update! 7/27/17 I wrote the above review and the manager reached out to me to amend the issue. She ended up putting on shorter lashes more my style the next week and I love them! I have to say I wrote the previous review before getting used to the longer ones and even those grew on me but probably wouldn't get them unless it's for an event. Definitely recommend this place- they really want you to be happy with your lashes. read more

Rarely do I go for a consultation, but my fear of lashes said go for it. I got lucky and was able to get fit in for a consult with Tari the owner. Everything was super easy and all explained. The consult was great because having some trial lashes on helped me decide whether I'd feel comfortable pulling the trigger and finally getting a full set for the first time. Had my lashes done by Jamie a few days ago and so far they are great. She was super nice and helpful. Your first set takes like 2 hours so be prepared with an audio book or podcast. Could pretty much fall asleep. I haven't had much fall off so far but I've also been taking good care of them! I adhered to the don't get them wet for 24 hours and have otherwise treated them pretty delicately ‍ I recommend if you have been thinking about lashes. I can't say enough great things about the staff and services at Allure. I've been getting lash extensions for about 8 months now and will never consider going anywhere else. They are down to earth, normal women who have a great dynamic with one another and make you feel right at home. I appreciate this because some salons have a bad vibe in that regard. I have received a couple of lash lifts from here and both resulted in different outcomes. My first time getting a lift here was nice, a little less curl than I was hoping/used to, but decent for the price point. My second time was well-after 3 months from my previous appointment and really lackluster. The lift was there, but curl was minimal at best. The worst part was the technician left a clump of glue on the root of my lashes. (She's super sweet so I hate to blame her.) It was incredibly difficult to remove after I got home and had me lose several lashes in the process. I didn't know it was water soluble and worried water would ruin my lashes so shortly after my appointment. Overall, service, online booking, reception, and prices are solid. I'm just left wanting more and wishing I could find "my spot" for a curled lash lift like I used to get from my previous hometown. read more

I absolutely adore this place. I did my lashes for the first time at Alchemy and it was horrible. The lashes were so thin that I couldn't even tell if I had extensions. I came across Allure and was pleasantly surprised that they take client who did lash extensions some place else. The majority of salons I found required to pay like you would for a first time you get extensions. After I went to Allure I could see how great my lashes are and it didn't look invisible. I had my facials done there as well. Every service I had was incredible. The lovely ladies who work there truly care about you and check in after every procedure to make sure you are fine. Jamie at allure is fantastic. I've seen her for classic lashes, hydrafacial, fire and ice facial, and most recently for a calming facial for rosacea. I've had lashes done previously at a different place and this experience has been far superior. Very relaxing and thorough. I had an appointment with Jamie yesterday for a hydrafacial and Dermaplanning, but unfortunately my skin had some sort of allergic reaction the previous night and I had a red and irritated face. Jamie recommended a facial for rosacea prone skin instead and it felt amazing. My skin looks amazing today and way less irritated. Highly recommend. read more
