Mercedes is amazing. Was a bit hesitant for several reasons. One-being it's permanent. Two- is expensive $700. Three-she is very young! My friend Grace referred me to JBe because I couldn't stop complimenting her eyebrows and have been wanting microblading of my own. Seems to be a marvelous trend as of late. I went to another place in Boulder last year and it was a nice experience, however the details and the realistic looking brows that I have now are definitely worth the long drive for me to get down to Denver from up north! I went to Maria and she was extremely nice and truly took her time to listen to what I was looking for. The brows are not just hand drawn, there are measurements taken and it is more scientific than just freehand and someone's opinion. Maria and Simone collaborated on the shape of my eyebrows. I had microblading done at Microblading LA in Los Angeles about a year and half ago and was pleased with the results, but they didn't last for very long. My brows faded significantly despite following all the aftercare instructions and taking special care. I recently went to see Simone for microblading after doing a lot of research and am so happy I did. Simone has over 10 years in the beauty industry and I felt like she really customized my brows to the way I wanted them to look. I didn't want them block like or super dark, I have quite a few stray hairs I wanted to keep to achieve a fuller, natural, feathered brow and I think she did just that. Without prior experience and not knowing what to expect, I called this salon to get my eyebrows done. I was scheduled for Nanoblading without them wanting to have a consultation with me prior to the procedure. I figured we will have consultation on the day of my appointment. I arrived to my appointment and not only did I not get consultation, they scheduled me for Microblading which takes less time instead of planned Nanoblading . Without proper explanation, Maria was eager to work on my eyebrows. I told her I was nervous and wanted more information on the process. She seemed annoyed and impatient with my questions. I was pressured into it as I was told that microblading is just as good as Nanoblading and if I wanted to reschedule I would have to pay extra down payment on top of what I already payed. I expressed my concern of not getting proper results but she seemed to be more worried about making money than taking time with me. I let her know I want my eyebrows to look natural and that I was happy with part of my eyebrows that was full. I asked her not to touch that area and just fill in the missing parts. She said ok but did her thing anyway without any explanation of their protocol. She microbladed my whole eyebrows. She did draw future shape of my eyebrows prior to the microblading and asked me if I liked it. I told her I wasn't sure. Shape didn't seem right but she said it will look nice once filled in. Result was that I walked out crying, unhappy with the shape, strokes and the color. It looked unnatural and exaggerated. My real eyebrows were darker brown and the color she used was lighter almost red. I was told color will change over time but it usually gets lighter so I am positive it would never look right. It looked way off. My eyebrow shape looked to pointy and it made me look angry. Not to mention that she made mistake and there was a stroke that was out of line of on one of my eyebrows. Microblading makes wounds in the skin and the eyebrow part that I was happy with, I believe roots got damaged and now I am missing more of my naturally growing eyebrows than I came there with. I asked for the refund. Owner was not willing to do it even when I explained the situation. After letting her know our phone call was recorded she ended up giving me the refund. I was rescheduled for laser removal appointment two times, than they canceled it and told me they would get back to me but never did. Now the owner Simone is refusing to take ownership of the situation and is twisting the story and denying the facts after me leaving the review. My advice to you is to get stencil of different shapes of the eyebrows and try it yourself to see what you like and check out portfolio of your artist, because even salon with good reviews can offer bed service. As it happened to me. Also think two times if you want to support business where they can't own up to their mistakes. read more

Pretty bummed here. I have been looking forward to getting my eyebrows done for months and i just received a text that they canceled and for me to reschedule it myself. I understand that part, due to Covid -19, and I appreciate their willingness to do that right thing. I work for the County and understand what kind of hit they are taking with being a small business owner. However I am disappointed that when i went to re book the price jumped up $200!! It was originally $350.00 when i booked online and now its $550.00 I have waited so long to have Simone do my eyebrows, because she is that good that she is always booked out. Simone has no customer service skills. I scheduled an over the phone consultation with her, and received an email stating that my appointment had to be rescheduled. And she gave me times of the day that were inconvenient for me, due to my working hours, and after a couple of times of us emailing each other to reschedule, she basically gave up and stopped responding to my emails.
