Having recently arrived from NYC, I needed to find my go-to spots for all the personal care things (hair dresser who does black hair, beauty supply store, nails, waxing and of course threading). Keep in mind, I'm picky and: 1) I have traversed the city to get to "my person" for these services, 2) I sat on my brow decision for months and 3) even after a direct recommendation from my sister, I didn't pull the trigger until I saw the results of her threading session once this place reopened. Service The technician who worked on my eyebrows was nice, she didn't say much. There was no putting the thread in the mouth as techs usually do in the pre-COVID days at least. My only gripe was her being Speed Racer on my brows. My brows took a shorter time than my wait for the customer before me (who seemed almost done when I came in) so I wasn't in love with having to ask for the extra TLC they usually do at brow places. She didn't go in with a Tweezer but she revisited some spots I asked her to with the thread. Results My brows turned out great! I've gotten several compliments and they have really added to my face. My only issue here was because too much was taken off the tail of one brow and she rounded out the inner corners slightly too much but I've been assured by other people that this is only noticeable to me. The brows are sisters and not cousins after all ;) All in all, I'm coming back but next time, I'll update with before/afters and my tech's name as my sister has received/seen great results with some and bad ones with others. Tips: -Two places came up consistently for threading in my online search between reviews and several "women new to Denver groups" on Facebook. This place (often just referenced as the threading place at Cherry Creek Mall) or one other in Aurora that seems similar to what you might be used to when you think of NYC neighborhood threading spots came up time and again. The others were WAY to rich for my blood for brows. -NYC fam, brow threading costs $12 here relative to the $5-$8 I was used to from crowd favorites in NYC like Unique Threading and Queens Beauty Parlor. However, outside of the Aurora place I mentioned, this place is WELL below the norm of what I'm seeing in Denver. read more

I usually get my eyebrows threaded a few times a year and have only come to this salon since moving to Denver. Previously it's always been a good experience, but today on a whim I decided to stop in since I had 15 minutes left of free parking. I was immediately seated and not even two minutes later my brows were done. Normally I'd be impressed by fast service, however it was very painful and I was tearing up to the amount that it was about to run down my face. When I looked at myself I could tell my right eyelid was red, but I was so teary and I hadn't put my glasses back on to see I had been cut. To be polite I tipped but I regret that. This was a very rushed job for no reason. There were 2 empty chairs when I was there and no one waiting. The lady barely said two words to me, put the mirror up, then ushered me to the register. Normally they've put a soothing cream or cold cloth on if it looks red/irritated. She didn't acknowledge her mistake at all. I will not be coming back here. This place deserves NO STARS! I've been coming here on a few occasions when I can not make it to the place that I usually get my brows done. AND EVERY TIME I AM HERE I notice the differential treatment that's given to minorities: Hispanic and blacks - ABSOLUTELY horrible service might I add! I came in today and greeted the eye brow lady who was the only one on staff and she completely ignored me intentionally. She did not acknowledge me until I sat down on her chair. Mind you she remained at the register and didn't call me up to sit on the chair. I came in directly after work so I had makeup on my face - specifically my brows because they're already thin. All I asked for was for her to clean my brows. This rude a$$ smelly amateur goes crazy and completely destroyed my brows. She made one brow significantly thinner and higher from the inner lower portion than the other. To make it so bad so had the nerve to smile in my face and try to convince me that I was wrong as if I'm stupid just to rush me out. A rude, lying, disrespectful pig. She demonstrated absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! But she took her precious time with the woman who arrived before me who happened to be Caucasian. It's totally sickening how people of color is treated when the women who work here are freaking minorities themselves!!! Never again will I step my foot in here to pay $12 to have a woman who smells like she hadn't shower in days do a horrendous job on my eye brows just because I'm a person of color. To make it so bad this hog wash expected a tip. The audacity of this woman. I watched her treat the other minority woman the same way. Do not frequent this place just because it's in the mall. Go somewhere that will value your business and treat you equally! The job here is not worth 12 cents let alone $12! Bad service. I had gone here for years. Then, one day I went in and thought I'd be next since there was only one client there being serviced and she was almost done. Right at the completion of her service, the client's friend came in and although I had already been waiting and expected to be next, the clinician decided to service the friend who had come in after me! I was floored; I had been a loyal customer, seeing this particular clinician every two weeks - faithfully - for brow service. I was eventually told that the 'friend' had come in earlier and then came back. What?! But I'm already here! I've gone to this place a few times and after this last time I won't be returning. They have a few ladies that circulate, but there's the older lady who's always there and I think runs the place. She's done my eyebrows every time. It's a bit strange because the first two times that I came in she left my eyebrows looking okay. I wasn't wowed, but at least she wasn't making me bleed or taking off half of my eyebrow. However, the last time that I went to this place, I explicitly told her the same thing I tell her every time I've gone there, which is that I just want her to clean around my eyebrow and that I don't like them thin. She must have not understood me this time because she took off half of my eyebrows and left one way thinner than the other. Honestly, if you're going to make them thin, fine, I can deal with that. But don't leave one eyebrow thinner than the other and one slanted down while the other is slanted up -- that's just wrong. At no point did she seem to reference how the other one looked to at least try to make them symmetrical. I definitely don't recommend this place. It's a roll of the dice on what you get and you will get what you pay for at some point. read more

This is a great little spa in the Cherry Creek mall. The ladies offer a number of beauty services. I haven't had a chance to sample their facials yet, lash extensions, or the henna tattoos, but I have had the threading done- every 2-3 weeks for the last 3 months or so. I've gotta say- their precision is phenomenal. My eyebrows look amazing. I don't bat an eyelash at the price either. It's usually $10-15 and they are QUICK! For any people doing threading for the first time- expect the "ouch" factor and if you wear mascara- use water-proof- your eyes will water! But, your eyebrows will never have looked better! This is the only place I'll go for my eyebrows from now on. I LOVE THEM =D read more

Ignore that one star review! I trust these ladies with my eyebrows; which is basically like trusting them with my life! I come here twice a month and leave happily with perfectly sculpted brows each time. My favorite gal appears to be the owner, and the oldest. But they all do a beautiful job. I always ask them for as much arch as possible :) I personally think threading hurts much less than waxing, but that could be because I am used to this. I can't wax my eyebrows because I have super sensitive skin, and I always break out wherever waxed, but this doesn't happen when threaded. Best place to get your brows (and what not) threaded! I've been a couple of times and no lie, I'm in and out within 5 minutes looking much less like the hot mess I was before. The ladies are nice but not that chatty and while that would usually bother me, for the cheap price of $11 (they tack on an extra $1 if you use a card) and quickness, it's all good. I come in every 2-3 weeks to get my eyebrows threaded. They also do henna and waxing but I've only ever had my brows threaded. I've been getting my eye brows threaded for years and I only trust these ladies with my brows. It takes about 5 minutes to get your brows threaded, everyone who works here is great. Some of them are faster and a little but more precise than others but I've never had any major issues , for example if they miss a stop they're happy to fix it and ensure everything is the way they want it. I'll go with anyone but the older ladies are the best, particularly the one with the dark hair - she's such a sweet woman. I would highly recommend trying out threading it's a teensy bit painful but totally worth it. Especially considering it's only $12. read more

I've gone three times to get my eyebrows threaded. For ten bucks you get ridiculously nice-shaped brows without the stress of plucking them into oblivion or worrying about hot wax on your eyelids. This is especially good for people with thicker eyebrows who are trying to find some semblance of a shape in their thicket of brow hair. The first time I went, I was jumping around in my chair and laughing/crying at the same time. The second time, I was amazed at how little it hurt. Third time was actually soothing. The ladies there are really nice and pretty funny. I love eyebrow threading, and this place is conveniently located in the Cherry Creek mall, tucked away in what I believe is by the West entrance, next to Aveda. This place is very sanitary, no thread in the mouth, and I always get a great shape with threading. The woman is nice, asks what shape you want, does a nice job trimming long brows, and she is quick. Ten minutes, and right now it is $10. Bargain! They also have other services, but brow threading is somewhat rare, so I feel like that is really their niche. Not to say the other services aren't awesome, I don't know, but try threading. read more

This updated review is for the eyelash extension services they provide. They are not applied correctly, she basically slathered heavy duty BLACK glue across my eyelid and proceeded to franticly attach cheap eyelash clusters on the wipe of glue before it dried. Usually the tech does each eyelash cluster separately so that they look natural and not all stuck together in a bunch. She told me I was welcome to come back the next day for touchups for free. The eyelashes were lifting by the next morning so went back in and asked her if she could just take them off (they really looked ridiculous and i was leaving on vacation the next day) and she informed me that do not remove them there.....WHAT?!!! They superglued a mess on my eyelashes and won't take them back off??? TERRIBLE. read more

First off, it's $12 now, not $10. Which is fine because it's still the cheapest place in the area (that I've seen). I got my eyebrows done and the shape is good BUT she beat up my skin pretty badly. I have scabs down under my brows on both eyes and they burn quite a bit. For a place that specializes in threading, this really shouldn't happen. I wish I could bring my place from Jersey over here. They only charged $4 and did a fantastic job and never once did I have this skin tearing problem. It's fine to charge more since there is sadly no competition in this area but the amount of skin tearing is unacceptable. read more

I have been going here for years. It is no frills and they have you in and out. I like knowing I don't have to chit chat for an extended visit. Every once in a while there is a little wait depending on how many girls are working. I haev only ever had my eyebrows threaded, but they do offer lip, chin, full face etc.... Very nice staff and no wait. Went in for upper-lip threading. I've gone there several times and this is not my first time seeking this service. While very nice, the "technician's" method was very rough and quite more hurtful (and less smooth) than I've experienced in the past. She actually ended up leaving small cuts (about 4) on my lips, which I've never had happen to me in the past. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded here 3 times now with 2 different ladies, always hoping the horrible result was just a fluke. If you like your eyebrows... don't go here. Each time they have taken out a huge chunk of my brow and said "hair doesn't grow there". Thankfully I have ridiculously thick brows, so it always grows back, but it's frustrating that they don't listen when I show them exactly what I want and take no responsibility for messing up. In fact, each time they seem to be annoyed!
