(Which is about $60 in credits, much better than the $99 retail on the facial, but still, it's quite a bit of $$.) I arrived a little more than 10 minutes early for my appointment, and at first no one greeted me. There was someone doing lashes in the back, but she ignored me as expected. About 10 minutes later, the receptionist came up and greeted me. The esthetician was running behind, I believe she had a lash appointment before me. So she didn't get to me until 10 - 15 minutes after my appointment should have started. The space that they use for facials is in the back room of the house - it smells quite musty and almost litter box-like. It's also right next to where they keep their washing machine and dryer, which was extremely distracting during the facial. She also mentioned that they had just rearranged the room, so she was struggling to find things - and consequentially, she kept bumping into the table with her rolly chair as she searched for items in the room. I was hoping for a relaxing facial, but unfortunately I didn't experience that at Live Love Lash.

I explained multiple times that I wanted a full lash look and even showed several photos of how my lashes have looked in the past. The picture below was shown to Trinity at least two times before she started, to make it clear what I was expecting. I trusted her professional judgment to help achieve that look, but the end result was nothing like what I asked for--my lashes were sparse, spacey, and uneven. When I expressed my concerns, Trinity became dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of offering to fix the issue, she told me to book with another tech--for an additional cost. I made it clear that money wasn't the issue; I just wanted to leave with lashes that made me feel confident. Instead, I was left feeling embarrassed and upset--I even cried at the front desk from the experience. To make matters worse, I was charged full price for a service that was completely inadequate. I've attached a photo comparing the work done at Amaze to my previous lash tech, and the difference speaks for itself. I came to Amaze because it's close to home and offers a membership program, but after this experience, I seriously question the professionalism, attentiveness, and skill level of the staff. Sadly, I cannot recommend this studio to others.

The aesthetician I've worked with the longest is Maddy and she always does an incredible job. I recently had a facial from Ellee as well, and it was great! I enjoyed the variety of services they offer and so far my favorites have been the hydra facial, the clean and natural and the Sculpt. With my membership I get a free add-on every month and I typically go for the enzyme mask which not only feels great but smells like chocolate. One of my favorite things about visiting face foundry is that they always offer a weighted blanket. I love to go at the end of the workday or the end of a long weekend when I'm exhausted and the weighted blanket helps me shake off any stress. There was no steamer, the mask felt like a simple paper mask, and the rubber gloves made the service feel more medical than relaxing. What disappointed me most was what was missing: no neck or chest massage, no hand or arm massage, and overall very little of the relaxing "spa" experience you usually expect during a facial.  The esthetician herself was kind and professional; please note that she did great. My issue is more with the overall service and value from the spa. But honestly, the experience felt very basic for the cost.
