I was hesitant to book a facial through a salon that specializes in lash extensions, but I gave it a shot anyway. I booked the facial through Classpass, using up 34 credits. (Which is about $60 in credits, much better than the $99 retail on the facial, but still, it's quite a bit of $$.) I arrived a little more than 10 minutes early for my appointment, and at first no one greeted me. There was someone doing lashes in the back, but she ignored me as expected. About 10 minutes later, the receptionist came up and greeted me. The esthetician was running behind, I believe she had a lash appointment before me. So she didn't get to me until 10 - 15 minutes after my appointment should have started. The space that they use for facials is in the back room of the house - it smells quite musty and almost litter box-like. It's also right next to where they keep their washing machine and dryer, which was extremely distracting during the facial. She also mentioned that they had just rearranged the room, so she was struggling to find things - and consequentially, she kept bumping into the table with her rolly chair as she searched for items in the room. I was very excited to start using their services. They were in my neighborhood and on the surface the concept is great. I started coming all the time for a variety of surfaces and they are not inexpensive but I am willing g to pay for results and great service. Started off ok... then it was just one thing after another. My first set of lashes fell out in days and I still had to pay. I travel a lot for work and am meticulous with my scheduling. The final straw was messing up my appointment times. They are not accommodating and do not even try to make things right fir customers that are spending a ton of money. It is in a great location (Cherry Creek), is clean and well appointed; has an upscale feel. Services aren't cheap but are reasonably priced for what you get. All the ladies are courteous and make you feel welcome when you arrive. Customer service is terrific -- they call/email/text you a couple of days before each appointment to remind you. My stylist, Angel, is a gem. She is sweet, knows what she's doing, and gives superlative service each and every time. I buy packages of 6 and keep coming back to Angel. I made the mistake of trying Live Love Lash because it was near my house, had good reviews, and my usual wonderful lash expert was booked. Big mistake on my part. The young girl who did my lashes took it upon herself to remove my yes, very thick long lash extensions and replace them with tiny unnaturally spaced lashes that began to fall out immediately. Lashes fall off within 24 hours or less! Regardless of how nice the place is or how good they look as soon as you walk out the door they start falling off. It takes 2 hours to have them put on, who has time to come back to have them fixed and have to tip again when it is their bad quality adhesive or lack of knowledge in applying. I got a groupon for a "custom" airbrush tan. I understand this is a lash lounge and that's their specialty. However, the woman that preformed my airbrush tan did not explain the process to me whatsoever. They don't customize the color for your skin tone, it seemed as if it was a one color fits all. After she was done, she left stating "meet me at the front". Standing there nearly nude I asked how long I should allow it to dry for, she responded "when you stop feeling sticky". The customer service was not great. The tan itself was okay, however it became splotchy on my forearms and chest after a few days. The lashes are great and I have been getting them for years. In my experience here over the last few years (been going since they opened), the prices just keep going up, up, and up. I love Sierra and she knows it. I recommend her every time I talk about the place. I just can't afford $240+ a month anymore. I will stop in occasionally, but I am still shocked how much the prices have increased since they opened. I now deliberately schedule my lash appointments at Live Love Lash for the times I return to Denver because no one does my lashes like Amy - she's the absolute best! I was even more impressed when I learned that she actually travels to New York to teach people how to do lashes there! I've also had a fill done by Angel, who is terrific too. I suspect you can't go wrong with anyone here because they pride themselves on their reputation. My lashes look amazing every time I get them done: they're fuller and stay on so much longer than when I get them done at my regular place in NY. I've had lash extensions for about three years and have had extensions that literally took my natural lashes off within 2 days after they were applied. I'm so happy to have discovered Live Love Lash and will be a customer for life! The place is clean, clean, clean...I only wish parking was easier to access (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). I learned about Live Love Lash through a special Susan B Komen offer. I originally signed up for mostly for the massage service but due to some logistics they were not ready to provide that service. However they graciously accommodated me with a wonderful facial and microdermabrasion. Amy is a professional and her experience shines through in her treatments. I also returned for a brow tint and had Elisha, the newest addition to LLL. An expert colorist, the brow tinting made a tremendous difference in my appearance and I am grateful for having found the best salon in Denver when it comes to quality treatments. This is the second time I have been to live love lash in cherry creek to fix my lash extensions other salons did a poor job on. Amy and heather are both very talented at applying the lash extensions and chad is alway so friendly when I've came in. They all remember I have a significant other deploying to Afghanistan though I've only been there twice- that tells you what type of people they are. It has been refreshing to find a place like live love lash. And I will now be returning only to this location for services to include microdermabrasion and other spa services with heather. So to those contemplating lash extensions- do it! They are beautiful and make your eyes POP. I get so many people complimenting them and asking if they are real because they are applied so well. If cared for properly they last a lot longer then people believe. I know cost may be a deal breaker but no money can be placed on looking and feeling great . Live love lash is very affordable surprisingly with its location in cherry creek, but as we all know you get what you pay for. It's worth it to have it done right the first time.
