I am not a member, and I made an appointment two days in advance with a new client coupon code for $129. They contacted me the day of my service and told me that they misquoted my price due to my booking with a master artist and that there was a $10 up charge. I explained that I specifically requested the master artist and that the $129 included the fee. They said that I had been there once before and I didn't qualify for the deal, so it would be $260 for my appointment or they were canceling my appointment. I told them they could cancel the appointment, and they charged me a cancellation fee. Of course my credit card company sided with me, but what a joke this business is! read more

I am ok with that, mistakes happen, however, when I tried calling them and figuring out a time to come in to rectify the mistake, they completely ignored me. I would call them and they would say there was nothing they could do or that they were "pushing a request through" to the owners. They kept telling me someone would call me. No one ever called. Overall lift experience was fine, but cleanup at the end was not ideal. I volunteered to do a model training session and got the hybrid lashes. I didn't have a choice in the lash type I would get. I think the trainee did a good job overall, I did wear my sleeping eye mask specially made for lash extensions and my lashes fell out pretty quick, which was surprising because I didn't experience that when I use to get lashes here, so I'm not sure what happened, but the lashes fell out much faster than usual, by the week I didn't have much lashes left which was shocking. I didn't wash my face for a whole day so I'm not sure what happened, so it makes me question the integrity of the glue and lash they use now. Even though it was a free service and it was nice to get it, it would've been nice if the lashes lasted a bit longer. read more

I have never been more disappointed. I wanted to like this place so badly. I have never had a worse brow lamination in my life. I know how a brow lami should be done. I've been getting mine done for years. She took 10-15 minutes on my brows and I paid extra for a "master". I was confused by how fast she did it, but tried to be a good sport. I went home and tried to like it. No. Absolutely not. I just paid over $100 and an added 20% tip to have my brows look the exact same and have nothing done to it at all. I tried to call. Is my first time at the salon, I wanted a brow shaping/tint. Upon my arrival, the person who assisted me was beyond dismal. She did not provide any information and every question I ask she got more and more annoyed. But they don't tell you is the brow shaping is tweezing. They don't specify on the service. I opted out of the tweezing and went for the eyebrow tint. Yourself I wouldn't in Cherry Creek. Obviously they cater pretentious crowd. Do yourself a favor go to Walgreens and buy a brow pencil for $5 There was absolutely no difference. Service was terrible. And in the time I was waiting for the tint to be removed there was no conversation no dialogue, no education whatsoever or promoting the establishment. Waste of $20. read more

Came to this location with a Groupon and still received excellent service! I did the True xpress with Kendall and she was awesome, super sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I drove from Breckenridge and I had some back and forth with booking and ended up being a little late and they were still very accommodating. The place is nice and clean, and they take good COVID precautions. The only reason I'm not giving the full five stars is because I got my lashes done Tuesday and I already have a decent gap of lashes in my eye and am already lookin a little wonky. Also, didn't receive a spooly to brush the lashes like I've gotten at most places. Overall, it was worth it for the Groupon price for sure but I'm not sure if I'd pay full price. Got my lash done here via a Groupon wanted to try them out before committing to a package. I went on a Saturday evening, Monday I looked liked I need a refill. I called they scheduled me to come in to get them fix a full 1.5 hour appointment. I got a text message requesting pictures, I sent the pics and they said I was eligible only for a 30 min fix. I went in on Tuesday and I was made to feel like it was my fault. Completely unacceptable behavior! The technician that did my lash was super chatty on Saturday and on Tuesday was a complete ice box, which I found unprofessional. It's been a week and a half and my lashes look looks like it's been 3 week. Not worth the Groupon price much less paying full price. read more

I got a lash lift here for my birthday and they were so nice but honestly this lash lift was awful. it looked like my eyelashes weren't fully brushed onto the rod- some were left barely curled and others were sticking straight down. I told them they weren't curled enough and they told me to "wait the full 24-48 hours" as if the shape would change which makes no sense and that if i still wasn't happy with them, I could come back the next day. But I was worried that would've fried my eyelashes off because it's a perm back to back. I would've been happy with them if they said "I'm so sorry we can redo it with another lash tech after a couple weeks so we don't damage your lashes" but they instead, they tried to play it off with "wait 24-48 hours and if the shape is the same, we can redo it tomorrow" as if I knew nothing about lash lifts. $100 down the drain :/ they also got some of the chemical in my eye and it stung a bit so they flushed it out with a solution. I don't know about the lash extensions they looked pretty on the women I saw walking out but my eyelash lift wasn't good at all. read more

Absolute joke of a company. Initially found this place due to a Groupon for express lashes so I went in and was surprised at the amount of time it took to get the lashes put on. As someone who did regular lashes at another studio for over year (whom I cannot recommend enough, message me if you want the name) I thought wow this is awesome less time sitting uncomfortably in the chair...well there's a reason it's so fast, they use clumps of lashes instead of individual and it definitely ruins your lashes over the long run. Well rewind back to my first time In when I thought I found the holy grail and my lash technician suggested I join their membership, with very clear instructions that due to COVID they were foregoing their 60 day cancellation policy. So I was like yea I like that little bit of security I'll give it a try. Well after a few sessions of itchy lashes that were continually stabbing my eyes I decided it wasn't for me. So I called to cancel, as you know how they get you with these things, of course there cannot be a convient online cancellation option, and the lady conned me into putting my membership on hold to see how I felt after a few months with the promise of being called before it charged me again. Welp of course no such thing happened, and a charge showed up on my card even though I was expecting a reminder. At this point a few months had gone by and I was really astounded by the level of damage they did to my lashes so no way was I going to start my membership up again. So if you follow me on insta you know I've been traveling A LOT so I chalked up that $120 payment of what can you do but called to definitely cancel before I got charged ANOTHER $120 for something I was absolutely NOT going to use. Well the lovely individual I spoke with at customer service was full on arguing with me about the cancellation insisting it was 30 days. How would I have even known they were foregoing that policy because of COVID if they hadn't told me? I'm just making stuff up and just hoping it's true? So stupid. Well what do you know charged again. At this point it's laughable. The way these people do business from the poor customer service to the crappy product, to the bait and switch cancellation... it is about 1000000% not worth it. I wish I would have listened to the reviews of others saying the exact same things that happened to me; but I am hoping this review will give you pause to not make the same mistake as I did. Rachel G was very thorough in explaining options and after care. I got lashes for my birthday and got TONS of compliments on them the whole week! I am also very active and noticed that even after my workouts and everything, they still held up well. They are very affordable in comparison to other places and zero irritation in my eyes from the lashes or lash cleanser. They do stay within the 2 hour time window that they block out. The chairs are comfy and the music is relaxing so I fell asleep which made the time go by nicely. Definitely recommend! read more

My preferred lash lady moved, so I bought a Groupon to try this place out before attending a wedding. During my appointment, I felt a quick and hot burning sensation near the corner of my eye. After my appointment, the area was red and still burned. When I got home, I immediately contacted the business to figure out what happened, so I could treat the area appropriately before the wedding. Nobody answered the phone, so I got in touch with the woman who did my lashes. She informed her manager of the situation, and let me know that the manager would call me. After about 30 minutes of waiting, the manager did not call. Generally speaking, I'm pretty disappointed by the experience and would not recommend this establishment to a friend because of their lack of urgency and customer service around the incident. I did sign up for a membership, so I'm really hoping they don't hassle me about cancelling. ** Edited to include that the owner & manager called me about an hour after being notified of the issue. I was asked, "what are you looking for here?" Obviously, I cannot be sure of their intent, but it did sound like I was being accused of trying to get something for free. To be clear, I did not ask for the money from the service to be refunded because I purchased through Groupon. A refund for the service or tip was not offered, but they did agree to cancel the membership I signed up for. Accidents happen, and I will not name the lash artist because she did a good job and was prompt in responding to me. However, the owner and manager failed to handle the situation in a kind, timely, or apologetic manner. They even stated that the lash artist, "interrupted" a meeting that was more important than handling a customer complaint and tried to lie about the timeline for which they found out about the issue. read more

While the quality of their service may be good, DO NOT buy their membership. Management is extremely inflexible and you will end up loosing money if you go this route. I almost lost $200 and they did not care AT ALL. It's unfortunate I had this experience because I would have continued to come and get lash extensions from time to time but again their lack of flexibility and lack appreciation for long term clients is really disappointing. I have never written a negative review, but my experience at Deka Lash was so poor that I wanted to strongly encourage others not to go here. I've been getting lash extensions consistently for many months and have always had great experiences with my prior salon, lash retention, and product quality. As I moved to Denver recently, I needed to find a new spot for my lash fills. I had an appointment with Edith at CC, and selected her because she was labeled as a Master Lash Artist. Right away, Edith's attitude struck me as uninterested and almost condescending. I wrote this off during my appt, but each of the 3 interactions I've had with her have shown this same demeanor. I showed her photos of what my lash fills typically look like, told her I liked a mix of volume + classic extensions, and let her know exactly which type of curl, thickness, and length my previous artist would use on me (e.g. 11 mm volume fans, 13 mm volume/classic lashes, mostly C curls with some D curls, darkness along lash line, etc.). While I told her I'd like to stick with a similar look as usual, I told to use her discretion with lashes and products, as I know these vary among salons and trusted her abilities as an artist to decide what would be best to achieve a hybrid, Kim-K shaped look. Not only was the chair uncomfortable enough to give me a headache halfway through my service, my lashes ultimately weren't anything like the photos I showed her of my prior fills. She used 5D fans mixed with a few longer, wispy fans (I believe 11 mm), and I felt like I didn't achieve the length/darkness/drama that I requested. Nevertheless, they looked fine enough and I was under time constraints, so I figured that I would use my next fill to address this. The real reason I'm writing this is a result of what happened in the following 36 hours. That first night, my eyelids were a bit itchy and uncomfortable, but I chalked this up to general allergies and a bit of sensitivity to their glue. I followed my standard protocol of not exposing the extensions to any water/products for the first 48 hours. By the following night, my eyelids were so unbearably itchy that I sat up in bed trying to carefully pat the areas causing discomfort. I felt some fallout, so I turned on my light to see that many fans had fallen out, along with some crust that I had never seen before. Still hoping the situation would improve, I left them alone not wanting to jeopardize more lashes by rinsing my eyes. I was shocked when I woke up the next morning to swollen and red eyelids, and a thick crust formed along the base of the extensions. By this point, many more lashes had fallen out overnight, and I knew something was very wrong. I called the Deka Lash salon closest to where I live (Lowry), explained the situation, and they told me to come in that afternoon. When I showed up, I was told that I needed to get my lashes removed immediately and that I was having a severe reaction that would not stop until the extensions were gone. I was also told that I could wake up the next morning with my eyes crusted shut and that this could turn into a far worse infection. However, they told me that since I went to a different salon, they could not remove them complimentarily, and that I should speak to the manager of the CC location, but that they were not capable of calling to see if CC could accommodate an immediate removal or even giving me an email for the CC manager. After waiting outside the CC salon for 10-15 mins per their policy, I finally went in to get Edith's attention, who was right inside and in view the entire time. She was extremely dismissive of the situation and did not offer any solutions, instead asking me what I expected to do by coming in again. I was shocked by her blatant lack of care and her inability to provide guidance, considering what I was told at Lowry. I asked if she could just get them off and refund me; she said they were booked out for 3 days. She finally said that if I waited for another half hour she could do the 15 min removal, which I agreed to not wanting to risk the infection getting even worse. She first told me I could only be refunded the appt+membership costs. I asked about the generous tip I had given, and she commented that I should consider her wasted time too. I normally would never ask for a gratuity refund, but I was so upset by her attitude that I felt it was necessary (although I still left her with a large portion of the tip). I'm now left at a monetary loss with horrible irritation on both eyelids, damaged natural lashes, and was informed not to get new extensions for at LEAST a month. I've read reviews from Denver locations by customers complaining of similar issues, so I know this was not an isolated incident, nor the result of sudden allergies from my move to Denver (Edith's claim, although I got many fills in Reno before coming here for extended stays). Overall - SO upset by this experience. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. read more
