The service here has always been stellar, and in a COVID-19 world it's no different. Upon arrival, clients should either text Tonie or call the front desk number that is posted on the door. When Tonie is ready, she will escort you back to her salon. She's allowing time in between clients to ensure proper cleaning. And of course, everyone needs to wear masks. It was easy to select my appointment type and easy to select a stylist. I selected Hannah H because she had great reviews on the app. I parked on the street. Not too crowded but I think it was because I went during a Bronco game ha ha. When I arrived, the hostess greeted me. You are required to wear a mask inside so it made me feel safe. Hannah was waiting when I arrived. She greeted me with a big smile (with her eyes). I told her I just needed to reshape my eyebrows. We got to know each other a little bit and I loved our conversations. I felt like she really took the time to get to know me and shaped my eyebrows beautifully. I was meeting my boyfriends mom for the first time that weekend and wanted to clean up my eyebrows. She told me not to stress and that she would take care of the rest! There was no steamer, the mask felt like a simple paper mask, and the rubber gloves made the service feel more medical than relaxing. What disappointed me most was what was missing: no neck or chest massage, no hand or arm massage, and overall very little of the relaxing "spa" experience you usually expect during a facial.  The esthetician herself was kind and professional; please note that she did great. With my membership I get a free add-on every month and I typically go for the enzyme mask which not only feels great but smells like chocolate. One of my favorite things about visiting face foundry is that they always offer a weighted blanket. I love to go at the end of the workday or the end of a long weekend when I'm exhausted and the weighted blanket helps me shake off any stress. It didn't go well at all. I botched the tops and came running here in a total panic for some emergency damage control. The Rescue Mission & Results: I usually have thicker brows, but after my DIY disaster, they were completely uneven. Thankfully, there was no wait when I walked in. The threader was an absolute lifesaver. She patiently worked her magic, shaped them up perfectly, and somehow made them look completely even and normal again. They went from looking like a Neanderthal to looking absolutely lovely. Value & Efficiency: I've been here a few times before, and they always do a fantastic job. This visit was quick it took maybe 5 to 10 minutes tops, and it only cost $12! The value here is unbeatable for the quality of work they do. Overall Experience: Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish they were located right here in Denver! I often do a walk-in when I have a 10 minute window I don't have a lot of hair, but often times let mine grow out and then go in for a quick Wax. My hair is sparse, very thin and fine so it's a 5 min wax. I'm in and out. They have salon chairs if you're open to your service in front of others. However they do have private rooms if needed for your service. $11 for armpits and $30 for half legs. Often times when I visit there's a line of 21 people, but it goes by so fast. Usually you put your name on the list and then wait for the service. If there is a long wait, then sometimes I will go and have Korean or Afghanistan or Mexican food in the same shopping center or walk across the street to Milkroll for ice cream. Very convenient, fast process/service and this location has been here over 10 years but run by Nirmala for 7 years since 2019. Please support this small, a local, woman owned threading and waxing salon. They do offer other services Threading, waxing, lashes, facials and hair treatments with Henna.
