I went in for a brow and lash tint. I signed all of the consent forms and toxic reaction warnings before I arrived. The esthetician was friendly, boisterous, loud and immediately jumped into performing the service without instructions or warnings. She did a good job applying the under eye patches, tints, etc. When it was time to take the tint off she dug cotton balls into my eyes - way deeper than was necessary and without care - that toxic dye got in my eyes and it was SO painful. She washed my eyes out with saline like 6 times because I demanded it but they still stung. She never apologized - just "yep, it stings don't it", like I was some sort of torture subject. I don't think she was properly trained! I have had my brows and lashes tinted dozens of times in other salons and sure there is a little sting but the esthetitian knows how to carefully remove the dye so that the sting is minimal and she is compassionate and thorough with the saline. I don't think this woman got all the dye out because my eyes still stung for the rest of the day and into the night, extra dry, red on the inside of the eyelid... 3 days later my eyes are still recovering. Google says the dyes are not FDA approved and can cause serious damage to the eyes - I was freaking out. The place is cute but I would NEVER go here again. read more

Although, I have not received any services there, my girlfriend claims that they always do a great job and are super professional. I really HATE to give this review. I'm from out of State. I found this place here on Yelp and made my appointment before even arriving. My appointment was for July 26, 2023 at the Berkely location. When I went to the Yelp page and got the directions it sent me to the wrong location. They had an Appointment 45 minutes past when my original was. So I gladly took it. "I didn't have a clue how to get to the other location's." Yelp only gives you directions to one. I was NOT told the person providing my Lash Lift & Tint was NEW. I found that out after the fact. Y'all OMG it was BAD. I couldn't see it because I didn't have my glasses on. When I got to the car and my eyes were glued and I looked in the Mirror I couldn't believe this person was even allowed to perform this process on a Human. I'm writing this because it is now three days since I had the procedure and my lashes look like nothing was done to them. By the time I used a Lash brush to get the clumps of glue off my lashes and Eyelids my eyes were so irritated they watered for the last two days. There was NO PURM/LIFT and ZERO TINT. What a Shame. Just got a quick brow wax with Erica and I'm so glad I decided to book a last minute appointment! The parking is right out front- so easy. Inside it is so clean and smells delightful. Erica was very prompt and offered me a drink upon arrival. Sure I was "on the clock" but who can say no to a free mimosa? Not me! The experience was top notch. When they first welcome you in they offer you a beverage. But not just any beverage; they have water, mimosas, and wine. Hint hint the mimosas are to die for! Then the rooms are very private and cozy. Upon entering you get a dove chocolate and wet wipe. My tech Ellen was amazing, very personable and friendly. The location is fabulous. Don't let the busy intersection location fool you. It's secluded and quiet, with a large patio right outside the front door which will be wonderful in warm weather. the front rooms are light and airy with high ceilings. The treatment rooms are great and the decor in the new space is classic and well done. One of the things I love about this business is how great their services are and how well trained the staff is - Ashley and Mikayla are two of my faves with owner Tawnya leading the pack so the Queen of Treatment. Another thing I love is how they have educated me on lash HEALTH - when I first started lash extension treatment in mid 2018, my lashes were a mess from have extensions done by another salon that did not have the best practices (which I didn't realize). I am obsessed with this place! Their price really is decent compare to other places and the work they do is so satisfying. I get my lashes done with Lexie and she is so great! Her work lasts a while. 2 weeks and it still looks new. Her touch is so relaxing because its so soft and gentle. She is such a sweetheart too. I have never been more relaxed getting my lashes done. She gave me blanket because the room could get a little cold. It was so cozy, I almost fell asleep! The location itself is convenient. There's a cheap parking spot that is $3 for 5 hours so I dont have to worry about going back and forth to repay parking! I just moved to Denver and was looking for a place to get my brows waxed. I found Wax & Lash through a google search and I'm so glad I did. The entire place is so cute and decorated so pretty. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. As soon as I entered they offered me wine or a mimosa. I was also impressed with how clean everything was. The quality of customer service of everyone was great. My problem was the quality of my second wax, it was patchy, and uneven. I will say, I haven't had any major infections, nor was it any more painful than the first time, it was just the quality. Edit: There were long patches that were missed in areas I did not ask for hair to be left. This was right after the wax, and I'm not referring to areas where the hair was not long enough to be picked up.
