The woman who did my nails was very nice but I am very disappointed in the quality. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure on Friday. By Sunday the polish on a few of my toes had completely smudged. Additionally 4/10 nails of my manicure with done poorly, uneven polish to where is looks globby. And to top it all off, not even 3 days later the gel polish chipped on on 2 of my nails. For reference I work a regular desk job and there's to activity that should have chipped them. Was super excited to like this place. Love that they don't have drills and are a more natural place. Got a gel mani and regular pedi. My pedi looks great except she didn't use a base coat so I hope my nails don't turn yellow from the polish. As for my gel polish... She never got down to the cuticle. As someone who has gotten her nails done many times and even does her own nails, I know this is a problem because they look grown out within a week. A week came and they look completely grown out plus they chipped a few days later. She also did not round the sides at all and kept them bluntly straight. I had to round them myself at home. Would not recommend for gel polish, especially for the price. I'd test out your technician with regular polish to see if they will get the polish down by the cuticle to look clean first before spending over $100 for a mani that already needs redone a week later. read more

The only reason I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is because Nhi did a nice job and was sweet. The reason I am leaving 2 stars is because Angie was extremely rude, not accommodating and just made the entire experience super awkward. My friend and I both had appointments (I was just getting a pedi and she had booked a mani/pedi for herself). When I arrived I asked if they would be able to do a simple design (pictured below) on ONE nail. I was basically told no because they said they only have one technician who is able to do designs, which I thought was weird but ok. She told me to ask Angie (who I guess is the one tech who is able to do nail Designs). However her whole vibe was so off- putting that I didn't feel comfortable asking. I should mention my friend was running 10-15 min late and she did call to see if they would still be able To do the service. They said yes, they didn't mention anything would be shortened or altered, which If that's the case they should have told her that on the phone when she called to say she was running late. So when my friend arrived, immediately Angie informed her that she would cut both the massage for her feet and her hands and just do the mani /pedi because of time. I immediately felt this really bizarre shift in energy and everyone was standing there just kinda staring which was super awkward. My friend said she wanted the massage and again, Angie just stared at her and didn't respond. We got seated and my friend was trying to accommodate the fact that she was running late and told Angie that she could just do the pedicure and skip her nails, but once again Angie just looked at her with a blank stare, looked annoyed and didn't respond......awkward again. So my friend just said fine because it was so awkward and was clear they weren't trying to be accommodating or communicate to find something that would work. During this time, I asked Nhi if I should ask Angie if she could do my design on my big toe - she kinda looked at me like she was scared and shook her head. She said "she won't have time" So I got the impression that it's not something they usually offer or try to accommodate. Below is the design I asked if they could do. The place is beautifully decorated with cozy chairs, plants, mirrors and pretty calming colors. My experience here was lovely. Not only is this salon better for YOU and the environment, they just do a good job. I was offered a beverage upon arrival, was sat in a cute chair with mags and told to relax. I got a pedicure, shellac removal and a manicure for 59$. Not bad. All the products are like, vegan and cruelty free with less chemicals and harmful carcinogens. The technicians are all young and sweet and speak great english. I'd recommend coming here if you are looking for a really sweet and cozy experience and are passionate about healthier options for you and the environment. Plus, they have DOGS. I am on a temporary assignment for work in the area and I yelped to find a nail place to get a mani. I saw that UberChic had an online scheduling system and was really close by, so I was sold! It is really nice because you can look at any given day and see the open appointment and schedule right there. No remembering to call and all the info you need is right on the website (including descriptions of services and prices). I have been here twice, once for a shellac mani and once for a deluxe pedi. I have thoroughly enjoyed both of my visits and loved the look of my nails both times. They have a very clean modern design and their pedicure chairs are nice comfy arm chairs. It is a very light and bright space. There isn't a ton of parking in this area, but it also isn't really busy so I just parked on the street both times with no problem. I have really enjoyed going here and am sure I will be back soon. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! read more

She did an ok job my nails but I told her it made me uncomfortable and she didn't say much just looked to her left at another employee and made a face gesture. Everyone that was getting their nails done but me had their nail tech talking to them which made the silence ever more irritating and uncomfortable. My experience at this nail chop shop has been atrocious. I went once and It was decent. I went back a second time, and the polish looked like a second grader did it. Went back a third time and had my mind blown by the owner "Eudi" Who was furious at me for being EXACTLY 12 minutes late, even though I didn't Need shellac removal (which takes 15 minutes in the first place). It started with a low rumble of snarky, snide comments. When I told her she was being inappropriately rude to me, and that I would not like to stay if it continues, She threw an absolute temper tantrum in front of my 76-year-old mother, who could not believe her ears...Sweet lady who hates controversy was appalled at Eudi's fury and anger. Eudi's clients were uncomfortable... Very awkward... Her anger wasn't warranted. I had tears in my eyes and she quite literally chased us out the door. My mother and I went to Pink and White nails in the Highlands. It is cleaner, bigger, they got us in immediately (per usual) for a manicure/pedicure,and the service was, as always, impeccable. Also, Uber chic always has 1-2 employee-owned dogs in the salon at all times, but my trained SERVICE DOG joins me (service papers and tags are always on me and available to review), and in your reply below, you shame me for having him with me. Eudi... I quite literally think you are confusing me with someone else in most of your tit-for-tat reply comments from past encounters. I'm a highly educated professional with a generally very peaceful approach to matters, and I've never been treated with such nasty, low-life aggression, least of all as a customer. I was really dissatisfied with my interactions and policies of this salon. I had booked two online appointments for myself and my girlfriend for a Saturday at 4:15, which was one of their last appointments of the day. On the day of, we found ourselves running about 10 minutes late, so I did the courtesy of calling to let them know that we were sorry, but we would be a few minutes late. The worker informed us that it was fine, but they would have to "rush our appointment." We agreed to still show, but after giving it more thought, didn't like the idea of knowing we would get a rushed job. I called back and told them that we changed our mind, and would just like to cancel instead. After being placed on hold, the worker informed us that our cancellation would be considered a "no show", and because of this we would be charged the full 100% for both pedicures. I was shocked! I understand having two appointments cancel and not being able to book our spots, but charging a full 100% seemed outrageous and almost greedy when no work was performed. I was originally really excited to visit this place since I had never been before, but unfortunately by feeling essentially ripped off before I even walked through the door, I will be finding a different salon that hasn't left such a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I love that this salon is non toxic. It's very comfortable and the employees are friendly. I do wish they had the massage chairs, but they make up for that with having fresh air. They always offer a drink and it feels like the salon is cleaner than most. I also love the two shop dogs. They are sweet and just do their own thing but if you want to engage them they will come say hi. Nice enough technician and she did a good job but my manicure was borderline painful. The technician was aggressive and I had to ask her to be more gentle a few times. Got a gel mani/pedi here about two weeks ago. The quality of the services was quite good, but the attitude of the woman doing them, I think her name was Desi, was extremely poor the entire time I was there. While she was doing my fingernails, I asked her to make sure they were all even (because at that point they were obviously not) and she immediately snapped that she wasn't finished. Fine, maybe I should have waited to bring it up, but her attitude was extremely unnecessary. Getting a manicure and pedicure isn't cheap, and treating customers like that for asking questions isn't appropriate. Any time Desi spoke to me, she had a poor attitude, like I was an inconvenience. I never got an opportunity to soak my hands before the manicure, and she didn't apply any lotion or oil to my hands after the manicure. When I got the pedicure, a big storage tub full of sudsy water was brought out and that is where I had to put my feet. I did not like this at all, so be aware if you're expecting a pedicure chair and a more 'spa-like' experience. I did appreciate the second glass of wine Desi got me, given that they are complimentary and she didn't have to do that. Overall, Desi did good mani/pedi that lasted about 9 days (this is good for me, as my nails grow extremely quickly), but her sour attitude and air that I was an inconvenience have put me off this salon. I'm not going to pay more than $100 for a gel mani/pedi at a place where the employees snap at and speak down to customers. The other ladies working that day didn't exhibit the same kind of sour attitude, so maybe Desi was having a bad day. I'll leave that up to other yelpers to find out. Being the new kid in town I used my yelp skills to find this cute little nail salon. I made my appointment over the phone but you can also make appointment online! There is "no-show fee" so remember to cancel if you are not able to make your appointment. The entire salon is clean and chic. I felt very comfortable and cozy during my experience. Since the salon is a decent size, all the ladies are able to have conversations with one and another. Bee did my nails and I love them so much! From the shape to the color she made sure it was how I wanted. She also welcomed me to the city and listed all the events and activities for the entire year!! I had a great and an amazing experience. The site stated that the manicure included a complimentary drink, so I figured I'd have a mimosa during the hour spent there. Unfortunately, when I requested that, I found they only had wine available. For some reason, I thought sparkling wine was possibly included, but no such luck. The blame for this partially falls on me, but kind of irritating when the drink is included in the cost and you don't end up getting one. I loved the hand massage after the manicure and enjoyed the manicurist, but my nails were chipping within a few days. I get gel manicures so I don't have to worry about the polish budging, but it's been less than a week and over half of my nails are chipped, scratched, peeling, etc. For a nearly $40 manicure, that is NOT ok. What a cute place to have your nails done! Unfortunately the polish bubbled on one nail so I had them fix them right away. But then once they fullly dried the polish on all my other nails bubbles too. My sisters polish bubbled too. Also, I didnt feel like the hand massage was as good as the one my sister got. I have lived in Denver for almost 2 years and had never had the need to get a manicure. It took me a couple of days to decide which study to go and I decided on this one because of the reviews, it was my first experience with gel nails, all my friends and family do it, so I decided to go last Friday 12/20/19 . The nails are supposed to last about a month depending on the care. The attention was really good and I left the studio super happy. The next day I left for vacations in which I literally did NOTHING but sleep and eat and after just 7 days the nail polish began to fall off. I feel a little disappointed with my first experience with gel nails, I was super careful and still the nail polish began to fall. This is a customer service review only! I was really excited to come here as a post-chemo celebration - great reviews and a natural nail salon. I made the appointment a few hours ahead online but unfortunately, had to cancel about an hour after that due to a serious reaction to the chemo medication. I canceled the appointment online more than an hour in advance, fully expecting to be charged but physically unable to make it. I was really bummed to miss it but figured they could accommodate a walk-in and would still be getting my fee since the cancellation was less than 24 hours. Really a win win. The salon called me 10 minutes after the appointment would have started wondering where I was. I apologized that they didn't receive the online cancellation, told the woman my circumstances and received an annoyed reply "Yeah we didn't get it." Ridiculous. And rude. We all have extenuating circumstances and being annoyed because you get to collect the same money without doing the work is absurd, particularly when someone expresses that a medical issue is involved. They are very friendly and the place is clean and cozy. They always offer something to drink and are welcoming. They really stick to appointment times which I appreciate. If you schedule for a time, they start at that time and don't make you sit. You can also scheduled easily online. They have great colors and do a really good job. At other place, usually my gel peels off or gets stuck in my hair after a week at or two but this last 2+ weeks. read more

This is the only place I go for pedicures. I started going when I was pregnant because they use non-toxic nail polish, and I've been going back since. I have to be honest, it's not the cheapest place you'll find, but it's worth the extra money. The interior design is awesome, it doesn't smell like chemicals like the cheap places, and the quality of work is excellent. You can tell that the money you're paying goes to make a nice environment. This salon was was introduced to me by a good friend and I am really grateful for that. The salon is kept extremely clean, service is prompt and the color selection is awesome. I love that they have the pups there too, makes me happy to see them. I appreciate that I can easily book online and my appointment is always on time. I am the type of customer that appreciates a good, friendly and outgoing manicurist. I have established my manicurist and I absolutely love going in here to see her. We have awesome conversation, so much so that I actually put my phone aside and relax. She always makes me feel very welcome and is hilarious. Her sarcasm and outgoing personality matches mine and I really appreciate that. She brings a little life and laughter to the salon. If you have the option and aren't afraid of laughing I HIGHLY recommend Desi. She does a kickass job at my nails every time. I recently moved back to Denver and was not interested in driving 9 miles to my old nail salon so I went to yelp to find something in my new hood. I made an appointment online which is a plus in my book. I HATE having to call and see if they have appointment times. The whole process was very simple. The salon is a cute area off Sheridan Blvd in Edgewater. Parking was easy to find and the salon is super cute! I had a Vinlylux manicure and LOVED it. Udi (I don't know if I spelled her name right) did a fantastic job on my destroyed cuticles (I had just moved.. my nails were TERRIBLE). She was also very pleasant to talk to (which is a huge fear of mine going to a new nail place... sometimes it's just awkward). Almost a week later my nails and cuticles look GREAT.
