I've always enjoyed shopping at Macy's, especially during the holidays so beautifully decorated and festive just warms the heart went to go pick up a purchase. Of course the cashiers and people on the floor are always amazing to answer any questions that you may have, even if it's just to find the bathroom lol but everything seems very reasonably priced, and like I said it's just festive there at Macy's. Thank you Macy's. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time.... read more

I love Macy's !! Has all kind of clothing, jewelry, shoes and for all kind of ages !!!

I have tried to reach fine jewelry multiple times by telephone. No one ever answers. I would prefer to purchase my items in store but it's more efficient to purchase online. Shame. read more

NO stars!! This Macys is the absolute worst store I have ever walked into. I attempted to return an item I had purchased the week prior, but due to a death in the family was not able to use. I lost the receipt in the chaos of this news, and was just hoping to get store credit. I asked to speak to a manager because the employee at the register couldn't help me. The General Manager, I believe her name is Brooke, is the most disrespectful, rude and degrading store manager I have ever met in my entire life. She should not be working in retail, and honestly I can't believe how she spoke to us after learning about a death in the family. If I were you, I would stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND THE GM! read more

I had the most disappointing experience at this store. I purchased some sheets on sale and paid with cash. I usually use a credit card but was in a hurry and wasn't asked if I wanted a receipt so took the sheets and left. I happened to purchase the wrong sheets and went to return them for an exchange of the proper sheets. I was told that since I didn't have a record of the purchase and no receipt, they couldn't do an exchange. I am at a loss as to why they couldn't accommodate my request and just exchange the sheets. I won't shop here anymore. read more

I don't have a sense of smell or taste. I wanted something that would be comparable to the old Green Polo scent. Irene spent quite a while helping me and we found a scent that would work! She was amazing! read more

I had a Macy's Registry and received a gift in the mail. I wanted to exchange it for something else or get store credit. The return desk was no help and sent us to the Customer Service desk. I told the worker that it was a gift from our registry. He( without asking) returned the money to the gift sender. After he did it he asked if that was ok and we were like "No it's a gift from our registry" and he was like "ok well I can't void it, sorry". So now I have to call the sender and explain why we returned her gift. So embarrassing! This is your official warning against having a Macy's Registry. At the very least if he had said "we can't exchange it" I would have kept it and saved myself some embarrassment. read more

This store has gone way down hill. Unfortunately the employees are lazy and don't make any effort to help you. It's as if your bothering them. They have no idea about the departments adjacent to them or where things are in the store. Especially in the men's area. The store is very dirty, run down and dated. The selection is very limited and the buyer has let it slip. The displays are antiqued and boring. I know this is not LA or NY but come on....we're in between at least step it up a little in all areas. read more

Horrible experience. If I could give a 0/5 I would. A worker named Susie yelled at my 3 year old cousin for running to his older brother. She also proceeded to call my aunt a bad mother because he was not listening. She also stated that one of the products we were going to buy was not going to have the same deal after that conversation. I would love for a manager of this store to reach out and communicate with me about this experience. read more

Under staffed. Staff there must be under paid and under supported. Saw two men steal many designer bags 10 feet from a staff member. They just clipped the security wires and snuck out, laughing. As soon as they left I shouted. No one seemed to care. Not all employees have any way to contact security, nor do they know how to respond. Zero security guards in or around Macys. Just an empty security pickup truck outside. I would not feel safe working there. Just a small group of women with no means to protect themselves nor the merchandise and the thieves knew it. No security came when someone finally did call. Just a sad apathetic place. And the merchandise has no value if anyone can just walk in, take it, and leave. No more designer bags for me and no more shopping alone in what used to be a safe, friendly town. Really very sad. Why put your employees in that position? Shame on you Macy's. read more

Mabel and Lacey at Macy's at Flatiron Mall, provided exceptional customer service. They honored a sale price for a pair of sneakers (that I bought in black that equaled the sales price of the same pair in silver i had purchased on July 12th). Since the black sneakers were not available in my size at the other Macy's location July 12, I traveled to Flatiron Macy's. Both ladies were attentive, kind and wonderful. Thank you, Mabel and Lacey, for going above and beyond! read more

Women's sizes 0-8. Are you kidding me?!? No slacks/jeans in real Women's sizes. Please do better.

An OK store for when some brand name merchandise is needed and it needs to be bought in person. Cleaner, better stocked and friendlier than the Boulder store. read more

Should be NO stars. I should have posted this a while ago but I truly had better things to do with my time. I did hear back from Macy's corporate (Andrew) and addressed my concerns. He said that he spoke with Greg and that the letter officially banning me from Macy's would be revoked and that I would receive a letter of apology would be mailed to me. I received the unsigned letter simply stating I was free to return to Macy's along with the form that I was forced to sign with canceled written across it. I have never stepped foot inside another Macy's nor will I. I did contact Andrew after receiving the letter and was told that was all I was going to get. He wouldn't send a letter of apology. Basically KMA. I am a retired firefighter from NY. You can bet that word spreads. Will the last person to leave Herald Square please turn off the lights. read more

I ordered 3 products from macys.com, out which 1 order was delivered on time though the quality was not as expected. 2 other items was supposed to be delivered but got wrong item delivered instead. When I was chatting with customer service to resolve this problem, they said I have to return the wrong item first to get my items shipped. I told them I can not go to stores to return the wrong item and have it picked up, they said they can not. Lots of shipping companies do that and I am sure UPS would do the same but they said the wrong item I got does not qualify to be picked as if getting wrong item was my problem. Where did serving customer part vanished Macy's??? After chatting to 2nd rep, they agreed to send me my product before I return the wrong item but 1 out of 2 items was already out of stock so basically I was only getting 1 item, not on the day I need coz they made a mistake and still have to go and return the wrong item they sent me. I order everything online and never had any these kinda issues with any businesses. Super DISAPPOINTED and not buying from macys anymore. 1 star coz I have to rate to post review! read more

I've never written a review for a department store, but the two young ladies at the Chanel perfume counter were the nicest workers I've met at the Flatirons mall. I wish I remembered their names, one was brunette and her fav perfume is perfect by Marc Jacob's and the other was blonde who just started. They were so sweet and helped my partner and I find a lovely perfume. The brunette walked us around the whole floor showing us the options and gave amazing suggestions. They turned a stressful situation (finding the perfect scent) so fun and carefree! read more

A run of the mill department store. This one is not as good as a lot of the others for me. Macy's is not high quality anymore and they don't seem to take as much pride in their stores as they used. No return visit for me. read more

Terrible location, never any cashiers or people to help. Store is always a mess and the dressing rooms are outdated and dirty. This store needs serious help. read more

This company is completely BRAIN DEAD!! From the sales associates to the customer service team. They pull their staff right from the neighboring retirement homes. Going in there to shop is fine. If you order something from them and need to get it delivered its an hour process just to get the right wrong guy on the phone. We bought a top of the line mattress from them and they promised to call and set up delivery. Never got a call back and when I called in the figure it out. I got a guy who clearly lost his hearing from heavy artillery in WWII. STILL DONT HAVE A DELIVERY SET UP and I'm beginning to think Scott(Kamar) doesn't give a shit. I put Macy's up there with the Comcasts of the world. Hey Macy's. GFY!!!! read more

Blech. Macy's everywhere seem to suck. Limited staff means long waits when (and if) you can find someone to check you out. The LONE exception was an excellent associate in the bedding department and she is the only reason this review is going from 1 to 2. Occasionally staff will ask if you are finding everything ok but mostly there is no (or limited) staff in this store. There has to be better options out there. read more

Macy's is always having a sale right? The store is clean, neat, and organized and I can appreciate that when so many other big box stores are a disorganized mess. Decent clothing selection - but it lacks in shoes. Dillards or Nordstrom definitely are better shoe options. read more

This is for the furniture department as well as customer service: While we understand people have to go to dinner, having more than one person on staff is expected during the holiday season. When we asked if someone could help us in the furniture department, the customer service rep talked to us as if we were inconvenience to him and told us "she was wasting away in there. So she will be back in 20 minutes" and offered us no other help. The upside is that this Macy's is overall cleaner cleaner and more organized than others that I have been to. Customer service is lacking however. read more

I have to agree with Steve R. We visited last week, and it looked as if a bomb had gone off in the place. Empty shelves, with what merchandise there was strewn about on the floor, draped over other merchandise, and mismatched. There were literally about 20 pairs of shoes in the shoe department. Empty shelves lined the walls. The bedding/ home section had about 40,000 comforters. The only problem was: They were all the SAME comforter. That, and a $400 set of Calvin Klein sheets sent me running to the door. read more

I cannot believe the changes at this Macy's store. The store is a huge mess. It doesn't seem like there is any management at this location. It's summer and they still have the winter clothes out. Nothing is organized. This store no longer resembles a department store. read more

First time at this location. It's close to work and i needed to return an online order. The guy in mens wear was not a happy camper. Not friendly and not helpful. They did have a goid selection in housewares. Will be back. read more

Not much in the way of staff...but it's Macy's. If you're looking for something nice and on sale..you can find it here. As far as this store goes...I find it to be on par with every other Macy's I have been to sans New York. Clean, nothing unexpected product wise, and deals if you are willing to look around. It is nice to have a Macy's around when out of town because just like McDonald's, it is reliable and predictable. This location served it's purpose. read more

LOTS of sale racks which is good on the pocketbook. Other than that, pretty run of the mill as far as department stores go for me. They did have my size in Levi's though which is a feat in itself. Being 6'3" I have to have long inseams, and they actually did! read more

Would be one star except women in shoe department were helpful and nice. Zero stars to the jewelry department. Two people standing around, maybe doing display or inventory but couldn't be bothered and the one at the register only grunted and Pointed at the other two when I asked where something was. Too bad. I don't understand why people are so rude anymore and especially if you are working retail . Poor customer service. read more

Received a Macy's gift card from my daughter for Christmas... went in February to purchase an item. The clerk tried the card so many times it locked the gift card & I had to pay cash. The ONLY way to retrieve my balance is to provide a copy of the original receipt and go back to the store to receive a 'New' gift card with my balance as the card cannot be 'unlocked'. Never again will I request a Macy's gift card! read more

This place is such a dump, with horribly rude and untrained staff. I was in yesterday looking for a dress for a wedding, only to find PILES upon PILES of previously tried on product in and around the dressing rooms, along with the staff member literally yelling at patrons to bring product out on hangers on their own. Two of the four dressing room locks were straight up broken and unusable. In another incident coincidentally in the same week, my boyfriend called to ask if they had dress pants in stock for him to come and make a return. The employee on the phone (we wish we had her name to report to her manager...) refused to service him, said there was nobody at the menswear stand (even though the store was set to be open for hours still) and simply told him to call tomorrow. He called a second time in hopes of reaching someone more helpful, and the same girl answered, copped an attitude, and laughed at him. Saying she wasn't going to help him. Literally all she had to do was walk across the store and check stock. How lazy are you. Take your money elsewhere. This place is a pit with some of the worst staff members I've ever come across. read more

Purchased couch and arm chair, was told $200.00 credit on Macy's charge account if I open an account. Also was told furniture was in-stock and would be delivered the following weekend. Fulfillment center called to advise the armchair was out of stock and would have to come from California and would be delivered a month and a half later. Credit card statement arrived and was only credited just over $100. I was mad and paid off credit card in full to get it over with. The following month I was charged another $75.00+. I called to dispute charges and kept getting the run around. No clear explanation of the new charge. Every time I called they kept pushing me to make a payment. Disputed charges for over three months and was sent to collections. Still no clear explanation of why I was charged after paying off the first bill. The collections company would call my cell phone 5-8 times a day at ALL hours. Every time, they could not give me any clear explanation of why I was being billed again after I paid off the account. Numerous times I was transferred to "customer service" and they said they would research my dispute and call me back. Nobody ever called me back except for their collections department. They started telling me that customer service has agreed to reverse the charge however I would need to make a $25 payment. What a load of garbage! After disputing and being harassed for 5 months I was fed up and paid off the charge card again, with all their "penalties and fees" for being late, now totaling over $125. A week later I received a letter from a credit bureau advising me that a negative was reported. This week I received another bill from Macy's stating I owe just over $2.00. read more

Worst shoe department I've ever seen, not to mention it would take a cow bell or megaphone to get the attention of an employee. It seems that this Macy's knows how awful the selection is in the shoe department is so they don't even bother to keep a representative in the department to assist you on the chance you might find something you'd like to try on or purchase. Clearly I'm bitter... I would give this Macy's 0 stars for their shoe department if I could. I was too annoyed to even walk through the rest of the store. read more

Macy's used to be good, but now it's just a shell of its former self. The only good one is in Manhattan, in my opinion. The women's shoe section is a JOKE. Empty of merchandise and certainly understaffed. It's like they gave up and let it become a ghost town. The men's section is just the same old shit they've been selling for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS--Hilfiger, a bit of Perry Ellis, and tons of Polo, with a smattering of mildly interesting off brands and a huge 20-something jerk-off youth section. Few customers to be found. The cookware section is hugely overpriced, though there are occasional sales that are decent. Bedding is a huge ripoff, though they have some nice stuff. read more

I can't wait for this store to go out of business!!! So run down, takes 30 minutes to checkout, only ppl that shop here are 55+... why do I come just for a sale on north face it's not worth being in a depressed run down store! Online only now! read more

I just spent an odd 15 minutes this quiet evening in the men's shoe department, strangely ignored by the attendant. She was assisting one person, walked past me twice in the ten minutes I looked at shoes (favoring the Bostonians), and then assisted another man that walked up. I sat for about four-to-five minutes while the attendant was in the back room and moving about, and was again ignored, even though I was 6 feet away. A "hello" would have been sufficient. I left quietly. Maybe it was just late; I know I was tired, and maybe she was also. read more

Macy's gets one star only because you can't five zero stars. Now I can see why Macy's is in trouble. I've tried to get a new mattress delivered to my house now on 3 separate occasions. The first time the mattress was delivered with a big ink stain on the top of the mattress. Since they won't guarantee that the 10 year warranty would be valid, I declined the mattress. When I asked the customer service rep about the gentlemen bringing my mattress back I to the house off their truck, I was told, "well if you can convince them to do that!" The delivery folks said they wouldn't bring my old mattress back in the house, even though it was parked right outside. It was our only mattress so the rep told us, this mattress would be trashed anyway, so they would work on delivering another mattress. I was scheduled a week out.....NOT! I call the day after it was supposed to be delivered just to be told that nobody ordered a new mattress. Soooo, I schedule a new date. I call the sales rep and she gets her manager involved and I have a new delivery date a week later....... NOT! Those two birdbrains didn't follow through either. Back to customer service and I'm informed that if I didn't get a confirming email, I wouldn't be on the delivery schedule, so ok, add me to the confirming email. I get this email with a delivery date the following week........wait for it.........AND the morning of the delivery my email shows the mattress was delivered an hour before me checking my email.....NOT! I call customer service and I'm informed that the delivery had been cancelled by another birdbrain in the warehouse. Fast forward to this moment that I'm writing this. I asked the new customer service gentleman that I wanted to cancel my order and that I wanted a confirming email stating that the order was cancelled. So far no email..... I will NEVER do business with Macy's again, and if I have any further issues I will contact the media to tell my story and the better business bureau to lodge a complaint. I'm not beyond an attorney either if they try to charge me for a non delivered mattress. Macy's, you should be ashamed how you treat your customers. When all you birdbrains are out of a job, you have no one to blame but yourselves. read more
