I went in today with my mother to take advantage of the 1-day only 40% off sale, and was met with the rudest, most unhelpful employee at the checkout. She is an older woman with dark hair and was working at 8pm on July 22nd. She LIED to my mother and told her she needed a Kohls card to access the discount (this is not true, I did it and I was one checkout down), she refused to cancel the transaction when my mom used the wrong card accidentally until I said "you can definitely fix that" and then she refused to try and apply the coupon! On top of that, she had to unlock our cart for us to go outside and she treated my mother like a child, stopping the cart with her foot and saying "hold on" in an irritated tone. I told her she was rude to her face. What awful customer service, and why is she lying and refusing to HELP when that's her job?? read more

First, I would like to say I use to love this location at the 120th & Sheridan in Broomfield, CO. The first reason is simply that within a weeks period of deliveries, two (2) of my deliveries have been damaged in transport. The stores shipping my goods HAVE NOT PROPERLY PACKAGED THOSE SHIPMENTS FOR DELIVERY!!! I selected two (2) dish sets along with (2) bowl sets which were delivered from different locations. I have returned (1) bowl set due to damage during shipping. The outer box had damage and actually sounded broken upon retrieving the box from my mailroom. There was negligent bubble wrap, so the bowl set box was sitting directly on the shipping box with no packaging materials. The entire dish set appears to have made it, nut this was never packaged other than the original box. Risky in my opinion. Then, when I expected delivery on another dish set by this past weekend along with another bowl set, I looked up tracking on the shipment and there was an 'Exception' on the two individual shipments....Those two items were shipped with UPS. By that, I mean that the boxes had been damaged and noted by the final delivery party prior to my receipt of goods. It seems difficult to have any shipments, other than soft goods, make their final destination... Overall, I have lost more money and time trying to buy these items than if I had never placed this order. Yes, that's four total shipments with three damaged deliveries/goods. There is no value in trying to replace these items, I Do Not have the time to do more than I have by taking the joy out of buying from Kohl's online. If and when replacement is provided, I will be returning the items to my local store upon receipt. Additionally, I WILL NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM KOHL'S. This location in westminter is very horrible. Limited selection of items in the store. No jewelry department since sephora came into the store. Check out was the worst. Sharon the cashier sighed in disgusting when my friend found an item in the store without a upc barcode. She thinks it is our fault her team can't put tags on clothing. Gals that work in the customer service area are continuously awful. I live right by this location and drive to the Thornton location to do my shopping and returns. It's been a long time so I decided to give this place a try today because there shouldn't have been a reason I couldn't do my return. Of course they make it complicated, I have a Kohl's card, not only could she not find my items with my card, she demanded I find the order number to process the return. with a line of people I didn't want to make everybody wait while I searched my past orders, I honestly feel like she loved telling me no. Save yourself a bad day, and a waste of time - go to the Thornton location. read more

Always very poor customer service at this location, especially from the older red head lady working in returns. She is awful. I purchased items at this store and the next day the items went on sale and I had a 30% off coupon. I came back the very next day with my receipt to get a price adjustment. I had done the math prior knowing I could get some money back. Kohls also states on their website that they will do price adjustments for in store purchases with the receipt. The red head lady was giving me a hard time so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager said "well we try not to do price adjustments but since we don't have a line, I'll go ahead and do it, but you might end up paying more." She scanned the receipt and said the system wouldn't allow her to do an automatic price adjustment. I told her that I know you can return the items line by line and I can repurchase. She said "well that takes too long but I guess I'll do it this time." I only had 7 items. How ridiculous. Shame on you Kohls for trying not to honor your own policy and not going above and beyond for customers. I was completely within my rights per your policy to receive an adjustment. I used to work in management for Kohls (O3 and O4) and as such, I have a hard time shopping in many Kohls locations. I see when sets aren't finished, when recovery hasn't been touched, when go backs are out of control, etc. and it's hard to ignore. But this location is so great! It is always clean, I've never walked in to partially completed sets, to set books lying around on fixtures, or to out of control recovery. I know it's not easy, I've been there, so I wanted to take a second and say great job! read more

This store had only one entrance in use with people coming and going through just one door. In addition thru only had 1 section of registers with a line so long people were forced to stand closer than six feet together. I didn't feel safe so I dropped my intended purchases at the front and left. read more

Today I went in to Kohls to make 2 Amazon returns. It was a return where the store is supposed to package and label the return. Once I get there, the lady by the return area tells me that they can't package my return. So I show her the sign hanging right above her where it says that they package them and my copy of the return where it also says that Kohls is supposed to package it. She tells me "no that's not how it works" and keeps trying to tell me it's not part of her job. Even though I'm not trying to argue back with her she just keeps on at me. I tell her I'll just go somewhere else. However, she then takes my return and puts it in a bag anyways and refuses to give me a receipt even though I've always gotten a receipt for every single return. It's was a slightly annoying experience but it really was not that big of a deal and I wasn't very upset. THEN as I go to leave she starts yelling at me and then she looks at the entire line behind me and says screams "that lady is a lunatic!" right after I turned the corner. She even asked the next person in line if they thought I was crazy. I never once even raised my voice at this lady much less yelled at her and called her insulting things infront of customers so I have no idea why she did this to me. This takes "unprofessional" to an entire new level. She humiliated and degraded me in front of everybody for absolutely no reason at all. The lady I'm referring to is an older lady with shorter curly hair who was working the Amazon return section at 3PM on January 12. I really hope no one else gets treated like this. read more

I live in Los Angeles and purchased a lamp for my niece for Christmas from Amazon. The lamp was missing a few pieces so Amazon advised me to return the lamp to this Kohl's location. My niece dropped off the lamp with the reference number however, I never got a refund instead I was billed twice. She no longer had the proof of the return and I was stuck paying double. I called to the manager at the Scholes who was very helpful and was able to locate my product and get me my refund. This was fantastic customer service over the phone. They easily could've told me to go pound sand. But multiple employees got involved and help me get my refund. I appreciate this Kohl's very much. Thank you from the west coast!! read more

Shoppers beware!!! I bought an on line purchase for a total of $62.51. I returned it because they weren't the same size as the last I bought. My feet didn't grow, and when you compared them to the previous ones, they were about an inch difference....hmmmm, maybe a knock off???? When I arrived at the store and returned them, I should have had everything refunded, but the shipping charges. Not so. You kept .71, and when I questioned why, you said they tax shipping costs....what!!!! Who does that??? Why kohl's of course!!!! Honest they are not!!! They have been in trouble before for deceitful business practices, guess they found another way to take your money!!! Hmmm, wonder if they turn those taxes they collect in to Uncle Sam or do they pocket them!!!! Called their customer service, now that there was a joke for sure!!! Dude, it's freaking Kohl's: what you see is what you get. This is literally the only place I buy work clothes. However, I had a particularly Yelp-worthy experience in here yesterday that will help make sure I won't be tempted to go looking up the skirts at JC Penney's anytime soon. I made the daring (read: possibly dangerous) move and decided to spend part of December 26th in a Kohl's. A doorbusters man I am definitely not, but since mom hooked me up with a giftcard for Xmas and I was in desperate need of some new work shirts, I decided to grift while the grifting was good. With an hour left on the post-Santa closeouts, I would have to make the most of my time. Even on the second-craziest shopping day of the year (or so the more seasoned shoppers tell me), the store was still maintained in such a way that I navigate it swiftly and easily. I promptly found the shirts I came in to grab and made my way to the register...stopping only briefly to try on a couple pairs of jeans. Pants without Cobain-sized holes in them? And on sale for $18 a pop! A true Christmas miracle for yours truly. Making my way to the registers, which were more heavily manned than a Friday night at Shotgun Willie's, I stood in line only a moment before approaching the next cashier who beckoned me over. At 12:40, I had plenty of time to spare before the early bird deal expired, and was feeling pretty proud of myself. So proud, in fact, that I took the initiative and asked the cashier (Meredith) to explain to me her Kohl's card program. This is why I'm bothering to Yelp a department store, folks: because without kissing my ass, lying to me, or going for the upsell, my cashier was able to sign me up for the in-store charge card the old-fashioned way: with genuine customer service. Over the span of a few minutes, she answered my questions (no annual fee=sold) and swiftly guided me through the digitized enrollment process. When there was a slight confusion on my part regarding the payment for the transaction*, she handled it with humor, and still managed to keep mutual dignity intact. This is probably why, as the advertisements suggest, the more you know...the more you Kohl's. Now, with a store membership in hand, I'm bound to be back again soon. But at a time where I could've saved myself time, gas, and the effort it takes to put on pants by shopping online, and went into the store instead, I'm glad I did. *FYI, the confusion was thus: after using my gift card, I had a remaining balance of $29 and change on my Kohl's charge account. I had hinted at wanting to pay this balance off immediately, even though I only had twenty five dollars on me. As a word to the wise, evidently you can only pay off your Kohl's card (while in the store) using cash or another credit card. If you run a debit card like me, be sure and hit the ATM ahead of time if you're making a payment. Also, the clerk helped me out and rang through my twenty five dollars like a champ, even though it meant more work for her. read more

This store is very close to where I live but I am disappointed pretty much every time I come. The dressing rooms are poorly lit and very dirty. I should have taken pictures of how dusty and dirty the carpets were. Also, every single time it does not matter if it's a weekday or weekend. There are long lines because they never have more than 3-4 cashiers on one side of the store. I like the selection and the great deals but definitely needs improvement. read more

The only problem I have with this store is when you are shop I bought some bedding last weekend and had $20 Kohls cash to use so I went there to pick out an outfit. Kohl's always has great deals. That's why I love coming here to shop! Most weeks, there is a deal where if you spend $50, you can get $10-$15 in Kohl's cash, which is usable at your next purchase. This year Kohl's had some pretty good Black Friday deals that I needed, like steam vacs, bathroom mats and jewelry drawers. However, it seems like Kohls isn't equipped to handle Black Friday shoppers because they don't have enough cash registers and the lines go around the entire store. Compared to the department stores at the malls, I definitely think Kohl's has the better prices. The only thing I don't like about it is that their selection of clothing isn't large and sometimes, it feels very unorganized and cluttered, making it difficult to find what you need. read more

I used to like to shop here a lot, but the last few times in the last year or so I have been here, the styles have been horrible. More importantly, the store is starting to look like a dump. Go to the shoe section or the men's underwear section and you'll find inventory sprawled all over the floor. It's very reminiscent of the decline in other notable stores such as K-mart or Toys R Us. Kohl's cash was expired earlier than stated. Customer service was completely absent, I shopped for 30 minutes and no one assisted or even asked. Store was a mess, sizes on racks and hangers were not consistent with actual size on garments, I his made fitting very time consuming and frustrating. Cashiers were rude and/or unconcerned. Went to Cabela's after and received much better customer service and actually saved money on higher quality products. Kohl's sucks!!! read more

It was such a joy to go into this store tonight. Every worker had a smile on his/her face and they were very friendly. We were shopping for gifts to give to some boys in another country whose mother died in surgery. Tiffany and Scott were amazing at helping us find the things for which we were looking. I think Scott should be working as a district manager or at the corporate level because he has a good feel for Kohl's as an organization and how it runs best. I also was very thankful for Nancy who checked us out. She is just such a positive person, has a good sense of humor, and made us still feel good even though the Nike gear could not be discounted according to the coupon or Kohl's money we had. The management is keeping the employees happy and smiling, the store runs smoothly, and the customers have a good experience, at least we did. read more

I have an event to go to today so I went to Kohl's yesterday to find a dress. I found a really cute black dress but decided to just get a pair of really adorable shoes instead. Great price and was surprised to find out that the two tank tops that I bought were on sale and I got $10 in Kohl's cash. The sales clerk was very nice the store was very well organized, the dressing rooms were clean and parking was easy. I just wish I looked better in the mirrors LOL can't do anything about. read more

This is my go-to Kohls. Kohls in Thornton is so much closer to where I live, however, we will go out of our way to come to this Kohls. Their items are always nicely put away, dressing rooms are often clean, employees are friendly, great sales and low prices and there is so much more variety and more sizes to choose. Good: Parking, aisle space, good work clothes, some good prices, renovated changing rooms, good return policy, lots of employees. Bad: Some OLD styles, some upselling from time to time at the checkout and even by a lady with a clipboard who will follow you around and try to sign you up for a damn card, and REALLY EXPENSIVE cookware department. Don't even bother looking there for cookware. read more

I was sold a USED Keurig. Clearly somebody didn't do their job right. This was supposed to be a gift to my autistic sister. Thankfully my husband opened the box and checked bc it was disgusting. There were water spots, coffee stains and it was missing the descaling solution and the k-cup sample pack. I would have felt like crap if my sister had opened this Christmas day. Normally a great place to shop with very helpful people. Granted I forgot my coupon today... however in the past the only other time I accidentally left my coupon in the car... the cashier was helpful and instrumental in helping me facilitate my transaction. Unfortunately today the cashier was down right rude and very unwilling to help. Also need to mention the cashier in the other lane gave the gentleman a 15% off who happened to forget his coupon too... so much competition around and so many other places to spend my hard earned $$$$$. read more
