I ordered my first order from Birdcall. They not only messed up my order, the food was awful! I ordered their plain chicken tenders, they sent me the one with Nashville hot seasoning! The texture was soft like I was eating cotton balls and it was not crispy and neither were the fries! The fries tasted like they had been made the day before and they were not crispy either! One of the worst meals I have ever ordered! I called them and the woman on the phone couldn't speak a word of English! In fact she answered the phone in Spanish! I asked her if I could speak to someone who would understand me and she said no, then she hung up on me! I am very disappointed and the food is now in my garbage! I will NEVER order from them again! This is one of my go-to spots when I don't feel like cooking at home, because I live in the area and it's a quick bite to eat no matter the time of day. I am a huge fan of their chicken tenders or their Nashville hot chicken sandwich - their hot sauce is actually hot which I appreciate. However, I would pass on the fries or the tots. I've always enjoyed Birdcall and saw they were now serving breakfast, and oh man, it was rough. The majority of their menu was biscuit sandwiches...but they were out of biscuits... So I ordered the green chile burrito. I waited quite a while so I was expecting it to be fresh, but the burrito was mostly cold. It seemed like maybe they cooked the egg fresh (fried over hard which I thought was odd for a burrito) but perhaps the rest of the burrito was pre-made. The cheese was cold and not melted at all. Bird call was very similar to a canes and chic fil a type of restaurant. The food was good but nothing to die for. I liked that they support equality and stand for a great cause. They do a self service at a kiosk for ordering so there's not much interaction with the staff. Their bird call sauces are pretty fire though. Definitely worth trying if you like chicken! read more

Southern sandwich is great. Chicken was a tad over, but the coleslaw made up for it. Fries were crisp but could've used more salt. But I also didn't get a sauce or anything. Came here for quick lunch with my best friend after running some errands, and it was just what we needed. Even though you order and pay on a kiosk, the human customer service is fantastic. I got a Buffalo sandwich and fries with a Margarita - next time we'll have to come during happy hour - everything was delicious! Stopped into Birdcall because my friend was next door grabbing vegan food. I was thrown off a little bit by the ordering. I wasn't greeted ot anything so I had to interrupt everybody as they were preparing food for orders. I'm not sure if they take cash , you have to slide your credit card or debit card to order on their little digital pads, it was a little confusing. It was only confusing because it was my very first time, and I have to say I wasn't impressed. I ordered tots and they tasted good. They tasted like regular tater tots. I ordered two milkshakes and those were just fine too. Everything came out correctly but I probably won't be back, it just wasn't my thing. Decided to come here for lunch on Sunday because chick fil a is closed. I know there's a couple other spots but this one was smaller and more of a pickup area. They had cute seating inside and outside but definitely not huge. The ordering process is simplified with an iPad and an easy tracking system. Ehhh.... I have given this location several shots now and there's almost always something off. The bad: I get the Meati patty and it's usually squishy, sometimes even cold in the center. There's no option to order it well done. Staff are not sympathetic to things like flat soda, broken cookies, and undercooked food. It's almost $1 to add items to a sandwich like pinch of shredded lettuce, a sauce, or pickles. The good: Salads can be okay to good, slaw is tasty, and the fries are great if you eat them quickly -- but they're skinny and get cold fast. Good beverages, soft and hard. Overpriced, and underwhelming. I know it's hard to find a fast food meal under $15 these days, but I thought this place might be worth the money since it seems like a novel place. I did the drive-through and the staff seemed nice enough. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich meal, and pulled away. We have driven past this specific location several times and my boyfriend has been dying to try it. We finally decided to give it a shot last night. Pulling into the parking lot we were rather confused because it's not really a parking lot? Every space is for a pick up order, so we went and parked on an alternative street and walked over. We were also then rather surprised when we walked in and realized it is completely self sufficient and you order from a machine and not a person. The combo's didn't really seem like combo's to us and it actually ended up being cheaper to order our "entree" and then a side then do the combo option. My boyfriend got the southern chicken sandwich and I got the 5-piece tenders both with a side of fries. We both agreed that the chicken at other fast food places (Raising Canes & Chick-fil-a) is better quality, but liked the diversity this place had to offer, and by no means was the chicken bad! I actually also got a nice surprise as I was given 7 chicken tenders opposed to 5 but only paid the price for 5! The food was also CRAZY FAST. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and Birdcall opened a location there this year but I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet. I did learn a lot about it in the local media. The eatery's chicken is sourced directly from Colorado family farms, and their bread comes from a Colorado baking company. Even their spices are sourced from a Denver firm. You can find a list of Birdcall's local partners on their website. Birdcall is also trying its hand at zero-waste. I really appreciate this focus on local in a time of climate change.
