Its really hard to "bag" on Which Wich. Although I am usually not a fan of so-called chain restaurants- Which Wich is another Winner. After hearing how cool Which Wich is- I had to stop by for lunch earlier this week. This location does get very busy for the noontimers- so buyer beware-leave some extra time to plan your parking and time thru the line. I must admit I was pleaseantly caught off guard when greeted by the Which Wich door greeter. This helpful employee's main job is to welcome and assist Wich-newbies just like myself. Much needed great idea. A big part of what makes Which Wich high on the Awesome scale is their unique no-mistake ordering system. They have a large menu board and an ordering station with a bundle of numbered paper sandwich bags which correspond to your sandwich selection. This awesome does not stop there kids as each base wich bag is fully customizable with elementary school exam type bubbles you can fill in with the provided Sharpie pens. http://www.whichwich.com/new_to_whichwich The possibilities of awesome are truly endless-and the risk of your Wich coming to your mouth no-so-awesome are next to none. So I ordered some Roast Beef with Bleu Cheese, Hot Pepper Relish and plenty of the usual sandwich veggie regulars (lettuce, onion, etc) http://www.whichwich.com/menu Then its up to the register to pay and turn in your bag to the assembly line. The design and decor of Which Wich goes along with the trendy super Euro style clean lines-and is very much appreciated by this particular self-aware Yelping sandwich addict. The only small gripe I would have is that the employee who wraps and announces your order ready did not have the pipes to be heard at the busy lunchtime. Good thing I was camping at a table near the sandwich exit area! About my creations goodness and taste - SPOT ON!! Great job Which Wich team. Soft tasty bread. Plenty of meat, cheese and veggies on the inside. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Will I be back? Not soon enough.

Tasty sandwiches. Way better than Subway. Somewhat better than Quiznos. Not as good as Snarfs. Interesting concept. You write your order with a Sharpie on the bag that your sandwich will come in. Huge selection of choices.

Service was great, food came fast, but most importantly, the banh mi was hella delicious. I wish it had a few more jalapeño, but I bet it's a local preference thing, and I'm sure if I asked, they would have added. Also, I'm kind of a pig when I am away from home (hence my search for something light), and I'm always concerned a sandwich doesn't fill me up, but I am stuffed. Way more satisfying than a Subway sandwich, although comparing the two is somewhat insulting to this banh mi. I added the combo that provides an egg roll and iced coffee (I was going to buy a coffee for $5 anyways, the combo is $4. No brainer). Coffee is also delicious, and much larger than I thought it would be. TL/DR - Highly recommend this place. I will come again next time I'm in the area. PS - Tables are clean, restrooms are clean. Bonus.

When you take a bite you still get a light crunch from the crust of the bread. This texture adds to the sandwich's flavorful, grilled pork. I especially liked the light crunchy flavor of the pickled radish which is generously sprinkled on top. I couldn't eat the entire sandwich in one sitting but it was gone before the end of the day! The location is okay. It could use some asthetic upgrades but it's got that hidden gem feeling AND flavor. The ladies working were friendly. I will definitely be back!!!

I passed it once again and I ended up making a u-turn to finally see what it was all about and it holds just as much whimsy, nostalgia, and coziness as I had hoped. If you miss the days of a warm, nostalgic, classic coffee house - cozy environment and only welcoming vibes and nothing too boastful - this is for you. This shop reminds me so much of my beginning days as a barista when I was studying, and it's really hard to find a place like that that hits the target. Kind service, classic beverages, warm interior, amazing regulars. This is definitely the kind of place you will want to sit and stay a while, and maybe bring a friend or several. Enjoying the sounds of good conversation, Ella Fitzgerald singing Moonlight Serenade, and the sounds of a Mazzer grinding coffee this morning. La Belle Rosette is definitely home!!

Gallo was overall tasty, but not…read morelife-changing; the service was friendly and family-oriented, but not spectacular; the ambiance was cleaner and nicer than I'd expected, but also felt a bit less "family restaurant" than I think they were going for. FOOD: Gallo has a complete menu of every Italian restaurant staple you can make, and its feel of authenticity is enhanced by the wide variety of pasta and baked goods in a shop up front (which you can add to your check to have for dessert). The garlic knots are mandatory to order; I would go there for just a meal of them. My wife subbed in gnocchi for pasta in a vodka sauce, both of which were quite good. I had a lasagna Bolognese which was tasty, but a bit heavy on the bechemel and a little too overall soft (lasagna shouldn't squish). We had a couple of desserts from the bakery, and they were decadently spectacular. Cocktails were also quite good. SERVICE: This place felt like, if you showed up twice, they'd welcome you into the family, ask about your kids, come over and visit, etc. This made things friendly (even with strangers), but made the service only good, not great. AMBIANCE: The place looks to have been redecorated recently, and is stylish and comfortable. Almost too stylish -- the "supper club" / "mia famiglia" image just didn't quite work with the high-end decor. TIP: The place is in downtown Englewood on Broadway -- but has a great public parking lot behind. NET-NET: a darned good place -- but not enough for the distance we'd usually need travel to it, compared to darned good Italian places we have closer to home. I would never turn down an invitation from friends to join them there, but it wouldn't be my first choice to go to.
