I've tried the other top places and can genuinely say that Odell's has the best bagels in Denver. Not only do the bagels themselves have a higher tier here, with the unique combination and flavors they offer (who else is baking Furikake bagels??) , but the toppings and exotic spreads and flavors they have to pair with it are amazing. I still need to come back to try the marinated Aji tuna poke -- but I've gone twice this week otherwise, the first time trying the sausage, egg and cheese on a furikake bagel, and the other doing two faced halves separately, one with locks and the other with the brown sugar, cinnamon butter. 10/10no notes. And for eight dollars for the half of the locks bagel, with generous portions and delicious real dill and fresh onion on top, even getting 2/2 at these prices is still better than a lesser tasting lox bagel somewhere else. No brainer. It's located right on a tiny corner and there is no dedicated parking, but I never have too much trouble finding street parking within a block or so. The place is tiny and on weekends there will almost surely be aligned to the door, but their kitchen is well staffed and works quickly, while being open air and easy to see that they are clean and organized back there.

It's counter service, so you order at the counter and they give you a number for your table and then bring over the food when it's ready. We've eaten here a few times now on different trips to Denver. My girlfriend always gets the honey jalapeno biscuit sandwich and I've had the biscuit with pastrami gravy a few times and the pastrami Reuben. The pastrami gravy is creamy peppery delicious comfort in a bowl and the house made biscuits are buttery and flaky deliciousness. The pastrami Reuben was delicious as well but the bread could have been grilled longer.
