As our walk got longer and extended we found ourselves in this little pocket of business area in the Park Hill neighborhood. Come to think of it, I have utilized a good handful of the restaurants in the last 5 years or so and Neighbors was one of them. I remember one of my friends (out of touch) and I came here for a flight of mezcal or tequila or some sort. The Yelp review I wrote back then dated over 5+ years. It all of a sudden became a moment of "walking back the memory lane". The time was 8:40pm or so. Although the restaurant doesn't close until 10pm, the kitchen was about to close (at 9pm.) Our stomach was still quite full from the dinner; we only needed after dinner drinks. Monday night at 8:45pm, the bar barely had any people in it. Dimly lit, the ambiance was quite exquisite. We noticed all sorts of wine cork art decorations on the walls and even the ceiling The kind waitress of ours allowed me to sample a few different reds (a Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi and a blend from Washington state.) Although the blend smelled better on the nose, the Cabernet tasted better on the palate. Decision making as to which one came easy: the Cabernet was the winner. I'm not much of a jammy Cabernet person. This Cab from Lodi, no wonder, appealed to me. Very structured, not necessarily velvety either and yet it's got a good character to it. The name of it is Klinker Brick (and the vintage is 2023). As of early June 2026, a glass of this solid Cab is/was $14.25. It became a nice "after dinner" wine to settle into the late night. As I stated earlier, this is a little picket of neighborhood that's mostly consisted of beautiful homes with $900k ranges. Unless you specifically do searches for restaurants in the very area, this will easily escape many people's notice. But that's the charm of it. Being away from the so-called "hip town vibes", I like this little quiet spot. And this wine bar's existence in it perfectly fits the description.

I'm not sure how often they rotate the menu, but my husband is still missing the mofongo. This salad, though, has me in a chokehold. I think about it more often than I should. We eat here a few times a year, not to overdo it. Drinks are really good. The bartenders do something here that most bars can't; innovate cocktails so you get a new flavor experience, and the flavors actually work together. Most places, if they have a "creative" cocktail, I'd rather pass. Typically the execution rarely matches the ambition. Not here. They get it right. The service is always good. It's the right amount of attention, never hovering, always checking in when it matters. The dishes are spaced out enough that it creates a nice rhythm, and that pacing is probably what makes the service feel just right. I do wish they'd turn down the music. But I'm old and have tinnitus from years in the Army. The walls and lighting are great. Thankfully the menu is readable. Again, I'm old. Go for the cocktails, stay for the salad.

We stayed for an hour and a half so that we could take our time with each dish. Five stars. The restaurant is tucked into a corner of Kearney street. Their salads are also always so good. The produce is super fresh and their combos are usually surprising. For example, I just recently had their seasonal green goddess salad and it had farfalle pasta noodles which was so fun. Some of their menu is seasonal, so get what you like before it rotates out! The Oneida park spot is really cute. I love the interior and they have a great covered patio for more all-weather seating. Parking is always fairly easy as you can park in the nearby neighborhoods if needed.

I ordered the black bean falafel wrap for my meal. It was incredible. The black bean falafel was perfectly cooked, the wrap/pita was delicious as it was perfectly warmed, the avocado hummus was to die for, and the taziki was freshly made to perfection. She even checked in on everyone around me... On top of that, they seem well trained at removing the table number once the food has been served. My table number remained up for 25 minutes. I purchased an entree, drink, and a cookie- really trying to support the business here despite the lack of mind for the consumer. Not until another woman who seemed to have the outside coverage passed by was I able to get to share my issue. The manager came and offered me an additional side or dessert but my meal came with two sides and I had already purchased a cookie. He explained that the issue was because my order was pushed as completed but that does not cover the fact my table number was up the entire time and the other service members completely ignoring me. I am at Cherry Creek for work every other week and wanted this place to be my go-to for meals but 3/3 visits of service being subpar- I've got to move on! I could tell after my first bite the chicken in the buffalo chicken was range free. It was moist and delicious. The flavor was awesome, not to spicy. The orzo pickle party was loaded with fresh dill, my favorite. The orzo was a bit over but apparently it didn't bother me that much as I ate it all. It was fresh and delicious. She told me all the salads are made fresh daily and you can tell by the taste that's true. The portion size I purchased was an 8 oz container for both. The price for the buffalo chicken, $10, and the orzo pickle party, $8. A bit pricy but worth it. There are larger portions available. My only complaint is they don't take cash, credit card only which is why I gave them four stars instead of five. I fully understand that.
