Great late night food! We needed a place to eat after arriving off a late flight to Denver and this place is open til 2am. It's a chain kinda like jersey mikes with customizable subs- every name has a weed theme, and though I'm not particularly for it (or against it), I love the general vibe of this place. Good music (they were playing Metallica) and nice murals and hip, cozy atmosphere with a young 20-30 crowd at around midnight on a Friday. Food was decent, as good as you'd expect. Service was fast and the guys were super nice, letting us get a drink cup when we didn't include a drink in the original pickup order. read more

The sandwiches we ordered were pretty good. The reason for the three stars is because I feel like the chicken needed more flavor. It was pretty plain. As for the garlic bread it was so soft, and flavorful! The service was also quick, and it didn't take long for the sandwiches to be done. There is inside and outside seating. I truly love Cheba Hut. They have a great variety of sandwiches and its quality eating. I don't feel guilty shoveling a 12in "blunt" down my throat. Every sandwich is named after a marijuana strain, they got munchies (rice crispy treats + cookies), and even sell koolaid. Not gonna lie the koolaid could use more sugar but still a vibe. They have a bar so you can have a drink while you wait or if you want a drink with your food. I don't think I've ever seen anyone sad or angry here. Visiting CO from CA on a work trip and DoorDash'd Cheba Hut and you can say I'm now obsessed. The sandwiches are so good and loaded with toppings. I'll now be frequenting the Denver area due to work and I'll be back every single time I come back. Although I have never been in the store, getting the food delivered it still comes near perfect. I love Chebahut and have never had a problem until tonight. I just got off a flight from the east coast and we came in late. i didn't realize it was 12 and they were closing in 7 minutes until after we ordered . I thought everyone was adults and could convey themselves even in pinches while at work. Im sorry to inconvenience you but what took you guys 15 minutes to make cost me 45 minutes of my work time. If you didn't want to make the sandwiches you could've nicely told me you were closing, but don't make me pay for something just for you to ruin it with sauce. Both sandwiches were extremely wet and inedible. I got heart burn from the sauce and so did my lady. I will eat at other locations but this one is a no go. First time here and really enjoyed the sandwich. It had plenty of meat and veggies and toasted perfectly! Only complaint is it didn't have enough vinegar and oil for me. I got the 5-0 and it was great. Next time i think i will try the La Canna. My son got a AK-47 which is their version of a french dip and he said it was one of the best he has ever had and their au jus was bomb as well. Definitely will be trying other subs here. read more

Pretty good sub or strain, whatever tickles your pickle. I went with white widow on the garlic herb bread and it was loaded with chicken. It was pretty messy and instantly fell apart after one bite. I see the appeal with their subs but execution could be better. read more

Such a homey vibe I've probably had five different sandwiches now and they've all been so good so many different intricate flavors going on at the same time- just flip a dime and you will be happy regardless. They also have a good amount of beer on tap, shots, and cocktails and that adds to the fun vibe of the place. Service is always superb and because of how great this place is- I've never seen it not busy. It's my own tradition to treat myself to a sub and drinks here after the chaos that is shopping at trader Joe's across the street. Cheba Hut is a fun small restaurant that is stoner themed. I love the creativity with all the names and the overall vibes inside. I was really impressed that they have different kinds of koolaide as drink options. I ordered two sandwiches ahead for pick up and was surprised that when I got there about 15 minutes after ordering it was still being prepared. They toast their subs so I'm assuming it was still going through a their process. I also got pretzel bites which were really yummy and seasoned well. The dip that came with the pretzels were really good too. The sandwiches are good, but not mind blowing. I do like that they have so many different options, including vegetarian! This isn't going to be my new favorite spot, but if you're looking for something easy, or you're craving a refreshing drink it's a good choice. read more

I hit up Central Park location. Usually MY favorite quock bite sandwich locations. A New bar gal offered services. Pretty, young and gracious although she never introduced herself. She was quick, and courteous. I ordered a beer and then the Roast Beef. Another guy sat 2 seats over, the place was somewhat steady, he ordered approx 5 min after I placed my sandwich order. The guy got his order within 7-10 mins. I patiently waited then bartender realized my order hadn't been dropped off. She went to the kitchen and chatted up one of the workers. Within the next few minutes my order arrived. Roast Beef, 2 slices of cheese, pretty meek 1/2 a sliced tomatoe. (Literally the worst sandwich ever).The Jus was so dark & salty it was inedible. It gas obviously been heated, reheated then heated YET AGAIN. I pushed it aside. The bartender offered to bring me hot water from the Starbucks next door to water it down, which I accepted... GOD bless her. Again, this Is USUALLY my favorite place for a sandwich... Definitely unimpressed and didn't order a second beer... (first time ever) read more

How can you go wrong with Cheba Hut? Easy, you can't. I have been making my way through the menu, and not a single sandwich has been anything less than fantastic. This particular location is smaller than others I've been to, however, it's clean, the workers are friendly, there always seems to be a small group of people having fun at the bar, and the decor is always interesting - gotta love a little Audrey II. If you're looking for a good place, chill people, an amazing sandwich, and some kool-aid nostalgia - this is it. I have never once written a review about any restaurant before but I think this needs to heard. We went to this restaurant before my daughter had 2 basketball game. She ordered the meatball sandwich with no cheese. When it came out it had extra cheese instead( 1 star for service) after she ate we got to her game and she had sharp stomach pain. She couldn't play at all and we had to leave before the second game. Would not recommend if you don't want food poisoning. read more

I come to this location a lot and love it, but one thing I know for sure is that the GM is awful. The few times I do see him on shift when I come in the evening, I witness him being really rude to all of his employees and I know from how disgruntled the employees seem to be that I know this guy isn't doing his part as GM. Truly one of the best sub shops in all of the land. The people who work here are really great and actually seem to enjoy their job as well as each other. My friend and I both got the white widow on garlic bread and it truly was just amazing (we have both been coming here for a handful of years and endless amounts of times, just decided to review it this time around). I cannot say if it is the cannabis theme that really puts you in the mood for some of the best "toasted" subs ever or if its the louder than usual jams.. Regardless we will be back for more.
