Club with side of House-Made Chips
    Carol T.

This place exceeded my expectations. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There were about 10 tables and a couple outside. I tried the club sandwich and homemade chips. The sandwich was delicious. It was warm but the bread was perfectly soft. I loved the flavor combination (ham, turkey, bacon, cheese and avocado. The chips were perfectly crunchy. I added a little bit of salt to them but that's my preference, you may prefer it without the additional salt.

I had the Palisade Bri & house made salt & vinegar chips. Very delicious!! And serving was great, didn't realize I walked in 15 mins before they open, but still served me Can't wait to come back & try other options!

Killer sandwich place! Stopped in today for the first time and ordered the Aspen melt with tots (truffle seasoning). My husband got the Pueblo cheesesteak with tots (bacon jalepeno cheddar seasoning). Both were to die for. Came out quick, decently priced, and huge portions. The tots were crispy and both of the seasonings were fantastic. Highly recommend grabbing one of the chocolate chip cookies. We made the mistake of skipping it and I regret it now lol.

Whew, after a super hot day out at Pride.. ZEPs was just what I needed to get back up and running. They have an interesting menu with lots of cool sandwich options. I went to ZEPs with a vegan and GF and we all found something tasty on the menu. I did feel like it was a bit pricey for what I had for lunch, but all in all an oasis amid some of the other choices available.

    epiq italian

The epiq italian at Zep's was great! As seen from the cross-section, it's pretty close to the picture they advertise the sandwich with. I stepped in to pick up the food, and the ambiance was fun and lively. The food took a little bit of time to come out, but you could see them make it fresh, so I was happy to wait. I felt the price point was relatively fair as well. As for the sandwich itself, it was delicious! It was well packed with meat and veggies. A little more meat would have really sealed the deal, but when isn't that the case? The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the acidity of the pickled ones cut through the richness of the meat well. If I lived in the area, I would stop by regularly and sign up for their rewards program, which seems like a good deal.

    Palisade Turkey & Brie

LOVED this place! We did our normal "order too much food" menu sampling, but everything we tasted was spot on!! I love that all of the selections have CO names (even if the server couldn't pronounce Palisade correctly, haha). I was craving a good toasted (warm) sandwich, and that is exactly what Zoe's Epiq delivered!! From the Colorado Cubano to the Spicy Shrimp Po' Boy, the Palisade Turkey and Brie and the Breckenridge bourbon Dipper - not one of them was even mediocre! We also sampled the tomato bisque! EXCELLENT! We'll definitely go back to try others, but hands down, The Breckenridge dipper was the BEST!!!

I ordered the epiq Korean sandwich for $18. It came with less than one ounce of meat and nothing but bread. The manager looked at me like it was my fault for expecting the meal I ordered.

Meh... it was alright. I don't think I would go back. But, it served in a pinch. Perhaps it was the late afternoon, but the food wasn't hot.

The prices were incredibly reasonable for craft, microbrew and a most excellent selection as you could want. The folks that seemed to be regulars were friendly... can see why my friend has been going there for so long, now! I am glad my friend recommended it and I look forward to going back. I got a mango sour beer and it was delightful with nice and not overwhelming taste. They also have festive beers like the gingerbread beer. The thing that makes this place stand out though is the people. Tyler was an awesome bartender and a great person to make conversation with. I would go back just for him.

The seating areas feel intentionally designed, cozy, and creative ~ and they rotate the layout every couple of months, which keeps things feeling fresh. When I stopped by, the main room was set up with comfy couches, lounge chairs, and bean-bag-style seating that practically invites you to settle in. I got so relaxed I ended up hanging out for several hours without even realizing it. It's the kind of place where time disappears in the best way. Shoutout to Joy, the beertender working that day ~ she was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful when talking through the beers. Great service without being overbearing, which always elevates the experience. We didn't take advantage of the patio vibes or rooftop deck with a fire pit, but this is still on our list! While waiting for a table, we cozied up to the bar and ordered drinks. One of the bartenders noticed I ordered the hibiscus margarita and asked me, offhandedly, if I was a fan of spice. Yes, please. With that, he cancelled my order and made me something "not on the menu" but what I called the "Patrick special." So good. Thanks, sir! We ordered burgers and shared their buffalo cauliflower starter. This, my friend, was absolutely amazing. Loved the buffalo spice paired with the bleu cheese. Easy way to enjoy some veggies. And along the same theme, I ordered the Buff and Bleu burger. This was so good, so flavorful and so messy. Don't judge me, but I resorted to using my fork, lol! It was so well balanced. Will have again. Parking here means street parking, but there were plenty of open spots on a Saturday night. The walk was nice. We can't wait to return, maybe on a game day, or maybe to enjoy Sunday brunch on the rooftop. Maybe a sunset for another date night. With this level of yumminess, the possibilities are endless.
