This place is seriously phenomenal and completely worth supporting. Small, cute, well-decorated coffee shop in the 9th and Colorado area. Parking can be a bit of a drag but definitely worth it to get here early. Stellar selection of pastries and broad coffee selection, all so well made. What blew me over was the actual food. Solid breakfast and lunch fare at very reasonable prices (especially given the price of eggs). The downside is that there is not a ton of seating and people tend to camp out in groups or on their computer - so another reason to get there early if you plan to eat in. The service and staff are all top-notch. I wish there were more places like this in Denver. read more

Accommodating + creative - I was really craving a strawberry iced mocha the first time I went in there and they made one and it was so quality! I think there was a berry muddle in it or something. Big portions that were all filling and listed at fair prices. The beverages come out quick, too. There's a lot of seating options indoors as well as patio seating. Stopped into frank and rose for 2 hours to get some work done on a Friday morning and it is busy! You can find a seat but definitely limited. Their coffee is delicious and food is great. The grilled avocado chicken sandwich was very tasty. They also have a few breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast options. Breakfast is served from 6:30-11:30 on weekdays and 6:30-1 on weekends. I am always searching for a nice coffee shop to go work or chill at. The coffee is really good and the service has been pleasant. One thing is because this is always a restaurant, during their peak lunch hours, they do limit the time you get to stay. I got here after their rush, so there were plenty of seats. They have limited outlets, so I don't think I would come here for an all-day thing. I do want to come back and try their lunch menu though. Parking: parking is street parking so it may be hard to find a spot since this area is pretty popular with other restaurants s well, so keep this in mind. read more

I had the Hot Smoked Salmon, a delicious coffee, and sampled a few other menu items throughout my Tuesday there before hitting Mumford & Sons at Red Rocks that evening. The atmosphere was so inviting that I ended up spending the entire day. The space has a comfortable, welcoming vibe that makes you feel like part of the local community. I sat at the long communal table and enjoyed chatting with several guests, which made the experience even more special. One of those guests happened to be Roze herself -- the "Roze" behind Frank & Roze. It was a highlight of my visit to learn more about the brand's story and her background, which closely aligns with my own career path. We connected over our shared experiences of owning and operating retail businesses and the journey that led us to where we are today. I really enjoy coming to Frank & Roze to get work done in the morning after I drop my doggo off at daycare around the corner. Parking isn't usually too bad and they've got ample outdoor seating for sunny CO days. Staff is always friendly, spot is clean, and the environment conducive well for remote work - plenty of outlets! I gravitate towards the seasonal coffees, which are always tasty and I've bought their bags of espresso beans a few times and have never been let down. My one qualm is their breakfast bowl. It's tasty, but a bad value. It felt skimpy when I was eating it (not even a whole slice of toast!) and I was hungry immediately after. For the price, I should at least feel full for a few hours. read more

This coffee shop has made a complete swan dive. I used to be a regular customer but because of staff indifference I stopped going. Today I decided to give it another try and it has gotten worse. The food is still moderately decent (why I gave it two-stars) however the staff has an attitude that they are doing you a favor by serving you. Case in point: the customer before us must have spent at least $70 on baked goods + coffee and the cashier lacked the decency to say "Thanks." The same pattern was repeated to us, though our order was smaller. As far as ambiance is concerned, it's a coffee shop. At one point it was somewhat unique (and we knew the original owners) now they have a lot of competition. Instead of caring to improve, it is indifference. I have no axe to grind, but I won't be back. read more

This neighborhood has a lot of modern housings popping up. To assist those that live in it, modern eateries are popping up as well. And I have a pleasure of visiting one of them today: Frank & Roze. The store is absolutely clean (impeccably.) The mostly white interior is so inviting and makes the whole establishment roomy. I really liked the easy-to-comprehend menu on the wall. Even at a quick glance at it, you can easily pick what you want from it. I also liked the fact that the food menu (on the wall, not necessarily right next to the drink menu) is separated from the drink menu. And there is an ample amount of pastries on the display as well. One quick question I had for the lady at the register was that I needed differentiations between the three different cold brews they have on the menu (house cold brew, nitro house cold brew and single origin cold brew.) After explaining them all to me, she made a strong recommendation for the single origin one which is made with Ethiopian coffee (she also said that it's super good!) I decided to go with her suggestion. She was right about the single origin cold brew; it was so good! By the way, I really don't like ice in my cold brews so I asked for no ice; in my opinion, cold brews should always be served without ice!! I also enjoyed the salted caramel brownie. Agree with other reviewers that the coffee is the star here. I had a latte with house made vanilla syrup that was delicious, good foam, perfect temp. Food was decent, but smaller portion and overpriced ($10+$2 to add on one egg). Over-medium egg was appropriately runny and avocado was fresh, but the dish overall needed more acid. Maybe some lemon juice or sherry vinegar? Also, we bussed our own tables, which is not a problem, but then why are you asking for tips on food if everything is counter service? We had pastries & coffee here a few days ago, and it was awesome. Today we had the ham, egg and cheese croissant (I added avocado) and they were both disgusting. The egg was severely undercooked, so much so that the yolk exploded when we each bit into our sandwiches, and went everywhere. The ham tasted old---beyond expiration date. For $3, I got a tsp of smashed avocado. I seem to remember when we actually got like 3-4 slices. There's almost $4 of Denver and Colorado business fees added to the bill as well. We were in the area doing a car seat install check at Rose and decided we were hungry. My husband hadn't had breakfast yet and I was ready for lunch so it was hard to find something that fit both our needs without waiting forever at some of the usual brunch spots in the area. I had seen Frank & Roze as we were driving by and decided why not. Even though I was ready for lunch I ended up getting French toast because I had been wanting it for awhile #preggo problems. Man, the French toast really hit the spot... just crispy toast, lightly sweetened homemade whip, fresh berries, and real maple syrup. SO GOOD! And I also really enjoyed their holiday latte.
