This place was down right delightful. The folks behind the counter know what they're doing. Service was fast. There isn't Apple Pay, which is fine. However, it is 2025 and I'm assuming there's some people that aren't happy with that. The muffin and the London fog were killer and the ambiance of the café was incredible. Perfect location right along 6th Ave. Easily pull in and get a quick cup of joe and a snack right from the comfort of your vehicle. I have driven by this establishment many times and finally decided to stop by. I got a punch card to work towards a free cup. The Americano was grand. The prices were reasonable. I am very glad the prices are reasonable. Kudos for reasonable prices. In the current scheme of things and skyrocketing prices everywhere, I am super happy that the price did not break the bank. I came here to try a new coffee spot and take a couple work meetings. I ordered an Americano and was not a fan. (I think I ended up tossing some of it.) The staff weren't rude, but they weren't friendly either. But the wifi worked and it ended up being quiet enough to take my meetings, so there's that. With Novo about a quarter mile up the road and Pablo's about a quarter mile down the road, I'd recommend walking to either of those places for coffee instead. read more

They use lion coffee which is from hawaii and it is scrumptious!! Absolutely five star service every single time I come and their beverages are top notch and consistent which I find to be an issue at other locally owned coffee joints. They have a boatload of snack and eats too. More options than any other coffee shop I can think of for all sorts of dietary needs too. They partner with other local businesses like Moe's bagels so it's al the best stuff!!They also have live music on the patio from time to time! Cutest neighborhood coffee place. Excellent service and even better coffee. Very easy to miss on the street so keep your eyes peeled when driving to it. We got an iced mocha -perfect balance of coffee and chocolate- iced Carmel macchiato -not over sweet and perfect coffee taste- and a dirty Sherpa chai very mellow chai. Interesting cafe setup with a proper drive-thru. It seems it was a gas station converted into a cafe, conveniently by a busy road. Drinks: A good variety of drink choices. Love how they have lots of tea options. I'll have to remember to specify less to no sugar on the tea latte - the cambric tea latte was too sweet for my taste. Matcha latte is solid though. Food: Only tried a beef empanada so far. Flavor is okay but I wouldn't order again. The pastry was soft and fragile. It would've been better with a crispy crust. Service: They work like a well-oiled machine. Two guys were working behind the counter. I did NOT expect to love Buzz Cafe as much as I do now. They're known for their drive-through, but I decided to park and experience the indoors. Lots of spaces on the street. The customer service here is unrivaled. I ordered a cup of cold brew with cream, and the barista asked if I wanted a "splash" or "pour" like who does that!? Incredible. I also had a generous slice of zucchini bread, which was some of the best I've ever had. So many other options for fresh baked goods, it's impressive. There's an outdoor patio for dogs. Plenty of seating indoors if you want to get work or reading done, or meet up with a friend. Overall cute and cozy spot that I'm sure is frequented by locals. read more

Baked items, crispy cranberry muffin $2.90 and banana bread $3.50, are better in quality than at Starbucks, about same cost; fruit is priced even better ($0.80 for banana). Place: wonderful little cafe with a cute, renovated-garage style (very Cali-chique / eclectic). Amazing drive thru window that's a rare find for high quality coffee at an early hour. Coffee: this is hands down some of the best coffee in Denver. That's obviously an opinion, but I urge you to give it a try. Regular drip coffee from this place is an excellent cup of coffee, I know that to be correct and far less of an opinion. Pandemic: stayed open through the entire pandemic. Drive thru only for quite a while, but this was huge as it was the only good coffee in town you could get, when all others had to close and we were left to find mostly diarrhea at Dunkin / Starbucks. They deserve credit for working so hard throughout a tough time! Service: outstanding, personal service every time. Nothing over the top, no one being pretentious, just wonderful people serving great coffee and being kind. Food: a little secret treasure. Danish game is ON POINT. Owner: family owned and operated by sincerely wonderful people. You won't know you're talking to the owner even after you know you're talking to the owner. Short staffed since 2020, they have been all hands on deck working around the clock, and that you would never know either. Just wonderful, kind people that work very hard and provide a great product and great service. PS - after living nearby for 3 years and then moving away for 6 years, I walked in while visiting town and the owner remembered every single detail I could imagine from our talks and passing conversations. Great cafe, surprisingly fast drive up service for how small they are. It's so hard to find coffee shops with a decent selection of REAL food and this place really hits the spot. They have the usual cafe baked goods, but they also have delicious crustless quiches for a healthier, lower carb choice (with multiple vegetarian options!), plus breakfast burritos, sandwiches, decent amount of vegetables and vegetarian options. Also very reasonable prices for the area. And of course they have all the espresso drinks you could want. They offer both matcha lattes and mate lattes, tho it looks like they use a mix/syrup for the mate latte so I didn't order it (I'm sure it's delcious, I just don't want any extra sugar is all). I ordered a medium unfavored latte with an extra shot of espresso and it was solid. Also with trying to be very cautious during the pandemic I really appreciate having such an easy drive up service where all their staff keeps their distance and/or wears masks and I don't have to enter the shop at all. It's located in an old service station and kept the old footprint which makes it a charming spot (even have a drive-thru) A mismatch of tables and chairs with little art pieces on the wall complete the laid-back vibe. This is a hidden gem in Denver. My local friend took me when I was visiting out of town and I would recommend to anyone looking for good coffee and a quick but delicious breakfast. I got the house coffee which is an Ethiopian blend that is one of the best coffee flavors I've ever had. The breakfast sandwich was sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. Sounds simple but it definitely exceeded expectations! There's nice outdoor seating too where you can read or enjoy a morning coffee. While waiting at the nearby Esquire Theater to see a sneak preview of the new Trainspotting II movie, the cafe was in site and begging for attention. What a charming place! Few tables and free Wifi makes this place a comfy spot for work or pleasure. The barista was fantastic and very pleasant. The menu is extensive for coffee and tea and their latte derivatives. I came late in the afternoon so the pastry selection was limited, but for the right reasons. This is what I call a local cafe at its best. The coffee is decent, the staff is friendly and they have a drive-thru. The main room is really open and bright thanks to the 2 windowed garage doors that make up the front portion and there is a huge patio. Plus there's free wi-fi. As I read all that it seems that I should give more stars, but something felt off about this place to me. It is fairly dirty and there aren't a lot of outlets, as previous yelpers have mentioned, but I'm not sure that's it. It's just one of those places for me that doesn't have a comfy coffee house vibe. How does this place only have 12 reviews? I'm borderline 5 stars on this one and can't believe more people aren't talking about it. The biggest reason I like this place is the feel. I think I formed my ideal for a coffee shop in college (which was probably long enough ago that I should consider reevaluating), but Buzz Cafe hits it spot on with a little less of a kitchen than I'd like to give it 5 stars. The things it does get right are the independent feel, the thrift store furniture with a mix of "I'm just relaxing by myself" and "a few of us are working together" seating options, and just being very, VERY laid back (I'm pretty sure if you just laid down on the floor while on your laptop nobody would really care). I can't really critique coffee beyond bad vs. good, so I can't provide an informed view of the house blend. I just don't like weak coffee, and it definitely hasn't been any time I've gone. I am a picky food person though, so that's why I say the kitchen is a little lacking. If it's microwaved, I don't want it. Still, they do have food options, which is more than most of the local coffee spots. The outdoor seating is great and when the garage door is open on nice days there isn't a bad seat in the house. read more
