There are coffee shops, and then there are places that make you want to linger. The Wild, tucked just across from Union Station in Denver's LoDo neighborhood, falls firmly into the second category. The space earns its name -- there's an energy here that feels deliberately curated without feeling forced. Natural light pours into a clean, well-appointed interior, and the walled patio out front is the kind of spot you claim early and defend all afternoon. The decor strikes a balance between warm and minimal: nothing generic, nothing overdone. The coffee program is serious. They source from Middle State Coffee, and it shows -- the espresso has backbone, not just volume. The carrot cake latte is the standout order: it delivers actual depth and warmth rather than a sugar rush dressed up as a seasonal drink. It tastes like someone in the kitchen actually thought about it. Staff were attentive without hovering -- the kind of service that's easy to take for granted until you notice it's missing somewhere else. The dual café-and-cocktail-lounge concept means The Wild works from morning through late evening, which gives it a versatility most coffee spots can't match. Best for solo work sessions, unhurried catch-ups, or a pre-game drink before a Union Station departure. It's one of those places worth the detour even when you don't have a specific reason to be in LoDo.

This is going to sound hyperbolic, but truly the best drinks I've ever had are at this spot. The classic espresso martini is perfect, and all the bartenders are magicians and create the most unbelievable drinks. The food, especially the baked Brie, is phenomenal. As if the food and drinks were not enough, Natty, one of the staff, is an absolute delight. I'll continue to come back just because I adore Natty!

I'm never by Union Station so one day when my friends wanted to check out the nearby holiday market, I suggested grabbing a drink here afterwards. We smushed together into a booth and ordered. The place is SO cute, and our waitress was super sweet. Same vibes as Hudson Hill and Lady Jane. I ordered the Lady Green (gin, strega, dry curacao, matcha, thyme, lemon, whey) mostly because of the gin + matcha combination, and it was a beautiful beverage! Interesting flavor. Standard $15 priced cocktail and totally worth checking it off my list. Not my favorite drink but would come back to try their coffee and other cocktails on the menu.
Great service and cold brew and their special coffee was super yummy too. Not too pricey and very cozy. Loved the outdoor area too if a bit warmer outside
Cool vibe, both indoors and outdoors. Pop inside in morning for your coffee/tea and pastry fix. Come back at night for your booze fix! It is a nice getaway from the busy and crowded parts of the area.
Cute little cafe located in a passthrough between two buildings across from Union Station. There's a small outdoor section with tables to enjoy the sun that you pass through to enter this cafe. I just came here for a cappuccino but they also serve food and cocktails later in the day. The cappuccino was expertly crafted and the almond croissant was tasty. Happy Hour between 4-6 looks pretty good with many cocktails around $8-9.
Lemon lavender poppy latte is seasonal and one of the most delicious unique lattes I've tasted. I really enjoyed the flavor combination and it worked so well with the espresso and oat milk (substituted - standard is whole milk). I also ordered a regular latte (oat milk) so I could taste the coffee itself. It's pretty good, but not one of the best I've had. Whichever use milk they use is superior though. Really smooth and doesn't taste thick or oily. The ambiance is nice. Clean spaces, air conditioned, some nice plant decor. The service is super kind and welcoming. Multiple people served us and check in on us. They clean tables quickly too! The music is loud though! I would not be able to take a work call here. I would come back for sure. Their cocktails sound really good!
This was a nice bar. Super trendy decor and friendly people. My friend had the palm beach drink. She really liked it and it was so cute. I had the basic intentions drink. I loved the toasted marshmallow on top. The chai flavor was really delicious as well. Would definitely recommend for a cute spot for some nice cocktails.
I was a really big fan of the wild! It's right across the street from union station so if you're already downtown there you can easily pay a visit. The menu has both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks so there's something fun you can find. It doesn't look particularly fancy from outside but the vibe inside is a little more upscale/trendy. The servers were all really helpful and friendly, and I really enjoyed my drinks (the paper star, and the guava goose). My friend got the hot cider and hot chocolate both of which I tried - they're thicker drinks for sure but nice when it's cold (which it really was). Parking is a bit annoying, all the street parking is paid and you have to download an app, so that kind of blows but it is cheap (or just take public transport to union station!). It's close to a lot of cool places and restaurants too so you could easily go out to dinner at a nice place (eg Bruto) then come here after for a drink. Overall really solid bar - I would definitely come again but probably try public transport next time!

Such a cool little hidden gem near Union Station. I came in for a little breakfast treat and immediately loved the atmosphere. The space is tucked away in the back and has this stylish, intimate feel that is completely my vibe. The food was great, the service was genuinely lovely, and whoever is in charge of the music absolutely understood the assignment. I came for breakfast, but now I definitely need to come back at night for a drink. read more

If you are looking for the perfect spot for coffee or cocktails, Wild is for you! This gorgeous cafe is beautifully decorated inside, with comfortable seating. It has a wonderful outdoor patio with plenty of seating and umbrellas if you want to get out of the sun. Sam was our barista and server. He did a great job explaining some of the menu items we were not familiar with and was extremely attentive. Sloan was the chef, and the food was delicious! Try the toast and jam, and the turkey sandwich with pesto. They serve the fantastic Mid-State coffee. On this Saturday morning, it was a pleasure to sit and have a conversation in this space. The noise level was quiet. I expect the sound level to be different during happy hour. This tucked-away gem is a great place for locals and the perfect stop to take out-of-town guests. Street parking is $4 for 2 hours, and the expensive parking lots and garages are just $5 during the summer. There is plenty to do right in this one-block strip of amazing downtown Denver! read more

This is the cutest little hidden gem in Denver. Steps away from the union station is this cute little place tucked away in the middle of some business buildings. My husband and I sat at the bar, I got bartenders choice, and my bartender made the best drink! cant remember what was in it, but I gave him my preferences and he definitely delivered! My husband got a coffee drink and that too was amazing. For food, we just wanted something ti snack on while drinking and so we ordered the sardines in olive oil and breast. The plate came with fresh bread and homemade butter. A simple dish that was truly so amazing. Would def come back! read more

Such a sweet lil hidden gem! My friends and I came in here on a Wednesday evening. They were catching up from HH so we had about a 20 min wait but was no problem at all. It is situated between buildings so gives a really neat big city feel. The patio is just lovely! Our server (whom i believe was also the manager or maybe owner) was extremely attentive & gave great suggestions. I had a Saturn & my friends all had the All Inclusive. Everyone seemed really happy with their drinks. Drinks were ~ 15 each which is on the higher side but standard for the area. Happy Hour pricing is a win. We didn't eat a ton but the charcuterie looks delicious. My friend had the olive mix and said it was great. The menu is all lighter bites. This would be a great space to work at during the day or grab a cocktail at in the evening. read more
SO GOOD. Big fan of this place nestled across from the Union Station in downtown Denver! The service was remarkable & helped me with gluten free items. Coffee was delicious and so was the food. The atmosphere was so welcoming and warm and cozy. My friend and I went on a early snowy morning and loved it here. I will be back. read more

Great little nook for drinks/coffee/pastry. Smart design with lots of options depending on what you want. Spent about four hours here working from a little table. Awesome staff, great proximity to Union and nice switch up to the other local shops. read more

I didn't get anything to eat but their cocktails were really good! they have cozy booths with pillow and high tops. I like that it's a combo tea/coffee shop and bar. so there's something for everyone. the vibes are casual / chill. the staff are friendly too. read more
Time and my boyfriend were in CO for a work trip and came across the gem. It is tucked behind a building front so be aware of that if you're trying to find it. It was wintertime so the patio was closed but the inside ambiance was adorable and so cozy. The service and food were excellent! If we lived in CO, this would be our go to place downtown. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you like wine and cocktails. read more

Found this place while googling "Wine Bar Near Me". Its right across the street from Union Station and a little hidden from the street. We came for a quick glass of wine and found a little gem for a coffee shop with a huge range of spirits to choose from. The staff was so friendly and gracious even though we came in for one glass. They have very inventive list of cocktails and would like to come back and try in the near future. read more
Great place for drinks! The staff were friendly and welcoming! We decided to get a snack before the baseball game and got their charcuterie board. It was so good, loved the burrata! I tried their seasonal cocktail, rosemary oatmilk latte and both were great. Highly recommend this chill spot with great cocktails and bites read more
We came here for a quick bite and happy hour beverage, and this place is so cute! They have a fun little patio tucked away across the street from Union Station, which makes this a fun spot if you're traveling, visiting, or just venturing out in downtown! We split the burrata plate, which was delicious, and it came with a fresh berry jam! Very filling too! I got a half glass of wine, and my husband got the Garden Grove (I think), which tasted super tropical & refreshing! I'd definitely come back to try Man in the Yellow Hat or Wild Fashion- those are more my speed! Cute decor inside too. Great space, great staff, great food and drinks. read more

Such a cute cafe! It's right across Union Station that would have been quite hidden if I didn't see the sign that pointed to the direction of where the cafe was haha. The exterior design is so pretty since there's lots of plants and the colors of the furniture just looks so aesthetically zen. My friend and I initially were sitting outside, but once it got too sunny we moved inside which had lots of seating. I was pleasantly surprised that they had dalgona coffee and decided to try it. It was as delicious as it looks! My friend also enjoyed her latte that had cute latte art. The kick from the coffee was also good enough for me to feel immortal, so there's that. I also ordered a sausage breakfast burrito where it was so cheesily gooey, you'd think they photoshopped it to make it look that good. Excellent for a cheese enthusiast like me! My friend also got one of the pastries which I can't remember, but it looked like it was huge enough for me to use as a bowling ball, and she wasn't able to finish it so at least you won't stay hungry if you decide to order that! All in all a great place to get some work done while feeling like you can take pictures in any angle and feel like you're a successful influencer. Would love to come back to try other items and even their cocktails! read more
