    Fish and chips
    Danielle R.

Stopped in here for a quick drink and bite before a concert down the street. To my surprise, on Friday's they have half off Fish and chips! $9 for a huge portion of fresh battered fish and chips. Incredible! The fish was fresh and flaky. The batter was light and crispy just as you want for fish and chips. The tartar was bangin. Throw in some malt vinegar and I was a very happy gal. Service was on point. They were slinging out lots of orders!

First time even though it's only 2 blocks from my house. I waited with several other people just before 10am. I started with a pint of Guinness Stout. I saw a card about splitting the G and took photos. Normally, Guinness would be served in a glass instead of a plastic cup. The first floor has a large bar plus an area for bands and/or dancing. The back patio has a retractable roof. There is an adjacent space called The Limerick Room for rentals with a separate bar. Two separate stairs to the rooftop overlooking Broadway and a back bar. I got the Corned Beef and cabbage with mashed potatoes for $18. I added Curry Fries for $8. My 2nd drink was Magners Cider. Nice flavor. The corned beef was fork tender. They were handing out complimentary sunglasses sponsored by Jameson and green bead chains. Everyone had green attire. I ordered the Guinness at the front bar. I started a tab and they returned my card to me. My server, Alina H was able to transfer my card to order food and my 2nd drink. They were playing Irish songs over the sound system.

1 blue moon draft 1 buffalo chicken pizza 1 ride of ranch Food Notes: carrots & celery on pizza. Doughy. Not spicy. Very cheesy Pizza was a Saturday special $10 Vibe: nice staff. Nice patrons Chicken cooked nicely. No flavor. $19.00 subtotal. $23.35 Overall not worth it. If you asked me for cheap pizza in south broadway I would say PieHole. If you told me you were at Irish River eating pizza I wouldn't even say anything. It was just mid. For $23, I hope I find better options in coming months.

We had a good time at the Irish Rover Pub. The service was top notch and the vibe was a laid back local spot. Our food (burger and wrap) was good yet we really couldn't taste the bacon on the bacon burger. But that's pretty minor. Our overall experience was great! This place is great for large groups of friends to meet up!

    The menu for Tuesdays

Saw an article about $1 tacos, so of course i had to go check it out! Nothing short of fun for an afternoon, sitting with regulars drinking a margarita and hearing old 'denver' stories. Will be back on Tuesdays for this Great deal and company.

Falafel wrap. It is worthy of an order again!

Great brunch spot along Broadway. Have visited here a few times for their bottomless mimosas-a steal of a deal at $10 with an order of any entree. I went with the Bloody Mary- not bottomless- today, but still on point for a traditional brunch drink. You can order breakfast food or lunch during brunch hours. Having recently changed their menu, I chose the falafel wrap with fries. It was a great selection. Others in the party opted for burgers and chicken fingers. Good all the way around. The service was a bit slow today which is an unusual description of the service as they are usually on par with refills and condiment requests. Still a great place for an Irish pub in Denver that does brunch well!

Shrimp taco and pork taco $1!!! Where can you get anything delicious for $1?? HERE!
    Brooke W.

The service is always friendly! We hit this place up for $1 tacos on Tuesdays and their HH goes till 7pm!!! The tacos aren't just two choices you have 6 yes, 6 choices. We've had all of them but the shrimp, pork and veggie are our favorites. However, don't get me wrong we pretty much order one of each every time. If you're like me and have a list of restaurant deals each day add these guys to your list! They won't disappoint

    Sheppards Pie

Oh my GOD! The Sheppard Pie had me and my partner, Ernestine (pictured here), SCREAMING. I literally just told my partner Ern (short for Ernestine) that if I was in prison (LOL) and had the choice of a final meal, I would order FIVE SHEPPARD PIES. SO FREAKING GOOD. The meat? Delectable. The peas? Otherworldly. The Mash? Finger-licking. The chef does a tremendous job of balancing this classic dish with his own unique spin with spices. My partner and I also had 12 Coors Light's each to help polish down the pie and let's just say the one mountains were BLUE LOL. All in all, probably my 2nd favorite restaurant behind The Spaghetti Factory and we'll be back ASAP. Warmest Regards, Sean

What a deal! $10 bottomless mimosas with the purchase of an entree. No wonder this place made Westword's 100 Bars We Can't Live Without for 2023. Service is fast and friendly. Brunch has several, tasty options. I went for the Sassy Eggs which was a plentiful, spicy option of chorizo, jalapeños, potatoes, red peppers, and eggs your way. Nice chill place to spend on a Sunday morning.

    Delicious Irish Breakfast

The food was delicious. I found myself wanting to order more black pudding, for take out. My wife loves her skillet and the kids were a fan of the chicken tender meals. The waitress was very professional and courteous. My only problem here is the parking. Felt like a vulture, circling and waiting for someone to leave. Chill environment and several TV's to watch which ever sport you want. 100% highly recommend this restaurant

    Monday Night Comedy Night

This place is a local gem!!! Absolutely love this bar - the vibe, the staff, the prices... and even the food! Made our first stop here New Year's Day eve... just out walking the neighborhood checking places out and stumbled across it. And how lucky are we... it was open mic comedy night! We had a great time... had a few drinks and a few laughs. Talked to the staff and loved them... and decided we'd definitely be back for one of their many other events. Oh, and did I mention they have a heated rooftop? What what?

The two guys working the bar, Josh and Jake, are super friendly and made us feel like they've known us forever. That was awesome. Such a great neighborhood bar vibe. There's a great selection at the bar. I tried the seasonal porter and went so far to have another when I finished the first one. Josh and I talked about porter beers for a bit. The food selection is great and the food itself was awesome. No complaints. Great sized portions, the Cubano Sandwich exceeded my expectations, and we had the stuffed tater tots (tater kegs?) as an appetizer. Again, outstanding. As mentioned, even though it was our first time there we were made to feel like some of the regulars through conversation and the like. The crowd is eclectic. And, having lived in Chicago for a while, it was fun to do a shot of Malört with the bartenders and some of the other folks sitting at the bar. Go here. One of the best experiences I've had in this type of establishment in years.

We kicked things off with the Tater Kegs basically five mega tots stuffed with bacon, chive, and cheddar. They were insanely good. I could've easily taken down another order, but I knew what was coming next... the wings. These bad boys are smoked for 12 hours, then fried up and dunked in house made sauces that taste like they've been perfected over time. We went with Kicking Bourbon (sweet with a little heat) and Alabama White Sauce (creamy, tangy perfection). The blue cheese and ranch are homemade...you can actually taste the difference and the fries? Crispy, golden, and gone way too fast. To wash it down, I grabbed a local Kölsch on tap; icy cold, light, and spot-on with the wings. And the vibe? Perfect mix of chill and fun. The bartenders were super friendly, the music hit right, and the whole place just had that "local favorite" energy. Honestly, Wild Corgi Pub is one of those spots that doesn't try too hard it just nails it. Good food, good people, good beer. That's all you need. I'll definitely hit this spot again when we return for another weekend getaway!

Any time I go to Denver for a conference, I try to make it out here. I went in the middle of the day for lunch and there were a couple tables and people at the bar, but not crazy busy. Staff is informative and friendly. We got the: 1) Chips and Curry: -It's house made fries and curry sauce. -I'm used to Japanese curry, so I'm always a little bit taken aback when the curry has a bit of sweetness to it, but delicious either way. Slightly sweet and savory curry with lots of layered spices to it. Went deliciously with the chips. 2) English Breakfast: -Comes with 2 eggs (your choice for the style), rashers (thick cured pork), bangers (sausage), baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, and we added some black pudding for $2. -Always get English breakfast when you get a chance to. Filling and comforting. Great diversity of textures and savory, salty, and umami flavors. Gotta get the black pudding too. 3) Scotch Egg: -Comes with spicy mustard. -I LOVE scotch eggs. I'm a low key hardboiled egg enjoyer, so the addition of the sausage layer around with the deep fried breadcrumbs and dipped in mustard? Divine. I will always order this when I see it and this was good! 4) Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich: -You get a choice of fries or tots. We got the tots. -It's made with bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato, and onion. -It's alike a nice twist and upgrade to a grilled cheese sandwich.
