Service continued to slide from there. My husband's fries arrived warm at best, and when we tried to flag down our server using the table indicator light, he never showed. After waiting over five minutes, my husband approached the bartender, who passed the buck and told us to find our server. My husband told him he had tried and indicated to the light. Thankfully, another server stepped in, brought fresh fries, and was wonderfully kind. He was easily the best part of the night. As for the food, the grilled cheese and tomato bisque were thoroughly mediocre, but we ate out of pure exhaustion. Coming from industry backgrounds ourselves, we are extremely patient, read the room when places are slammed, and always tip well for basic competence. This wasn't a case of being busy; it was a breakdown in communication and hospitality from the hosts, server, and bartender. Save your late-night appetite and wait for breakfast tomorrow instead.
