Chicken Burrito, off the whiteboard menu at the kitchen! - A plate of chicken enchiladas covered with melted cheese and sauce, garnished with shredded cheese and vegetables. The dish is accompanied by a side salad with lettuce and tomato slices. The setting appears to be a restaurant table with additional food items in the background.

Very cool little place. Great chill vibe, games, patio and amazing grub! Highly recommend the food! Little kitchen in the back to order from, and food gets brought out to you from there. Amazing find on our journey for nourishment! The Smothered Chicken Burrito was insanely good!

Smothered chicken burrito - A plate contains a smothered chicken burrito covered in sauce, topped with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. The dish is placed on a metal table in a restaurant setting, with black cups and a napkin visible nearby. The background includes a bar mat and some drinkware, indicating a casual dining environment.

Walking around downtown denver and spotted this bar. Was drawn in by the cutest bar dog!!! very confused why it was empty after tasting this heavenly smothered chicken burrito. We started off with the chicken tenders, which was perfectly portioned and set very well on the stomache. By the time we finished dinner, the bar was filling up, and sella was super efficient at making sure we were taken care of!!! Will definitely be back!!

Menu - The menu includes sections for draft beers, bottled and canned beers, seltzers and hard sips, wines, and specialty drinks. It features brands like Bud Light, Coors, Stella Artois, and Modelo, along with seltzers such as Truly and White Claw. The wine list offers options like 19 Crimes Cabernet and Kenwood Sauvignon Blanc. Specialty drinks include espresso martinis, mules, and margaritas, with a happy hour from 2-6 PM offering discounted drinks.

Very friendly waiters with comfy, hole in the wall ambience. Limited menu but what they have is tasty

The best Rusty Nail in Denver! Thanks Norma Jeane for a perfect Rusty Nail! - A clear glass containing whiskey with ice cubes and two black straws is positioned on a patterned coaster on a metallic bar counter. In the background, various bar tools and bottles are visible, indicating a bar setting. The image captures a close-up view of the drink and the surrounding bar environment.

A perfect Rusty Nail at Dulce Vida! Thanks for this Norma Jeane!! It is the best I've had in Denver

We're not a rowdy bunch, less than a dozen of us, meet just shy of two hours for a thematic discussion in the early evening, but after happy hour. All that said, my first time at Strange was two weeks ago. I'd heard about this place for years from one of my friends, but never been. What a low-key, great place! The bartenders were chill. The prices were incredibly reasonable for craft, microbrew and a most excellent selection as you could want. The folks that seemed to be regulars were friendly... can see why my friend has been going there for so long, now! And, hello, shopping center parking in a quasi-industrial area that totally felt safe?! I'm definitely throwing this place back in the hat for another rotation here!

I am glad my friend recommended it and I look forward to going back. I got a mango sour beer and it was delightful with nice and not overwhelming taste. They also have festive beers like the gingerbread beer. The thing that makes this place stand out though is the people. Tyler was an awesome bartender and a great person to make conversation with. I would go back just for him.

Tucked inside the Free Market alleyway at Dairy Block, this smaller satellite location delivers big on atmosphere. The tap list is thoughtfully curated, and the real standout is the space itself. The seating areas feel intentionally designed, cozy, and creative ~ and they rotate the layout every couple of months, which keeps things feeling fresh. When I stopped by, the main room was set up with comfy couches, lounge chairs, and bean-bag-style seating that practically invites you to settle in. I got so relaxed I ended up hanging out for several hours without even realizing it. It's the kind of place where time disappears in the best way. Shoutout to Joy, the beertender working that day ~ she was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful when talking through the beers. Great service without being overbearing, which always elevates the experience. If you're looking for a spot downtown that feels laid-back, stylish, and thoughtfully curated, this taproom absolutely delivers. I don't get downtown as often as I should, but this place is officially on my "come here more often" list. Love this new taproom ~100% my vibe!!!

We didn't take advantage of the patio vibes or rooftop deck with a fire pit, but this is still on our list! While waiting for a table, we cozied up to the bar and ordered drinks. One of the bartenders noticed I ordered the hibiscus margarita and asked me, offhandedly, if I was a fan of spice. Yes, please. With that, he cancelled my order and made me something "not on the menu" but what I called the "Patrick special." So good. Thanks, sir! We ordered burgers and shared their buffalo cauliflower starter. This, my friend, was absolutely amazing. Loved the buffalo spice paired with the bleu cheese. Easy way to enjoy some veggies. And along the same theme, I ordered the Buff and Bleu burger. This was so good, so flavorful and so messy. Don't judge me, but I resorted to using my fork, lol! It was so well balanced. Will have again. Parking here means street parking, but there were plenty of open spots on a Saturday night. The walk was nice. We can't wait to return, maybe on a game day, or maybe to enjoy Sunday brunch on the rooftop. Maybe a sunset for another date night. With this level of yumminess, the possibilities are endless.

Great location, relaxed vibes, especially on a Sunday evening. The beer was solid, but the food stole the show (mostly across the board). Most of our group was happy with their dishes. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad, and the sandwich was top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and this one absolutely hit the spot. It was also pretty large, which made it more of a fork-and-knife situation than a handheld one, but no complaints there. A few people in our party upgraded their sides to the sweet potato fries, which were next level. Perfect balance of crispiness with a hint of sweetness that made them stand out. One miss in the group was the mac and cheese; my sister ordered it and wasn't a fan, felt it was too liquidy/runny and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Only minor knock overall was that the kitchen was pretty slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy late on a Sunday evening. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you're in a hurry. Overall, great first Denver meal; good beer, mostly good food, and a relaxed spot that made for a solid welcome to the city.
