Killer happy hour menu selection, $29 for pizza and a bottle of wine - house Chianti or a white - thanks to fellow yelpers' recommendation - Phil and Blu! So glad we got to share the moment together with Casey too. The service was great and the restaurant was clean and open. We ordered a couple kale and Brussels sprouts salads, shrimp scampi pasta, bolognese pasta, pepperoni pizza w a bottle of white wine, I had the happy hour mussels w sausage, and we shared the fried artichokes. Def a happening place on a Friday afternoon. Get here early, book your table on their reservation portal... and get here for their happy hour, highly recommend and thanks again for a Yelper date - Casey, Blu and Phil! read more

I ordered DoorDash so I was not able to see the restaurant but it came on time as promised. I ordered the littleneck clams & spaghetti. It was flavorful and even had some small scallops in it. I also ordered a small side of bread. It was 3 slices. It was good bread but I thought I would have maybe gotten more since it was a paid portion. It hit the spot nonetheless! read more

The menu offers a lot of variety while having your Italian favorites and the prices are very reasonable for portions. Ordered two dishes and they were very good. Truffle Pesto Chicken Salad 9.5/10- open faced salad piled on grilled focaccia flat bread with roasted chicken, truffle pesto, green tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, arugula, aged balsamic vinegar glaze. The flavors of this dish were off the charts. Huge chunks of chicken mixed into the truffle pesto sauce on top of a thick slice of mozzarella cheese. Stacked on top of greens and drizzled with balsamic vinegar made this dish memorable. Getting all of the flavors in one dish. Viale Short Rib 8/10 - braised short rib, caramelized onion, jalapeño, provolone, arugula, lemon garlic aioli on grilled ciabatta. The short rub was moist and seasoned well and not dipping in fat or juices. The onions brought sweetness, melted provolone added richness, lemon garlic aioli brightened up the sandwich. Lastly, loved the heat from the jalapeño peppers to round out the dish. read more

Viale is a great place on Colorado Blvd. for Happy hour. They have a nice selection of small bites, cocktails and wine. Last night we enjoyed their burrata, beet salad and mussels. Everything was tasty. I would love it if the chef considered putting their beets on the burrata for fall when the tomatoes are not at their peak and possibly, changing some of the small bites from time to time... Mix it up! read more

The Service The service was second to none - truly an amazing, friendly staff that made the experience special. The atmosphere is relaxed and a great spot for a small group gathering. The food was decent overall. I tried the shrimp scampi, and while it wasn't quite my favorite, it was still enjoyable. The outstanding service and welcoming environment are what really stood out! read more

We came back after an 8 year absence and found Viale still in great shape. Four of us had dinner. Two of the group shared a pizza which they thought was fine. I had the bison/short rib ravioli. This was accompanied by a bold red sauce with a good share of onions. Loved it! I'm tired of all the bland ravioli out there. This one carried a punch and was nicely done. My wife had the other cheesy ravioli and she liked it. Service was decent. The place was packed on a Saturday night and we were fortunate to have a reservation, which was immediately honored when we arrived. Another big plus: 2021 Daou Reserve 1740 bottle of wine at $85 may sound pricey, but retail price is $60 so markup more than reasonable. read more

Lovely Italian spot! The atmosphere was delightful and cozy. I really enjoyed the patio seating which was well shaded. Happy hour menu was perfectly tasty and well portioned. The chicken parm was a great highlight and I plan to come back for it. Staff was friendly and the owner even stopped in to check how we were doing. read more

The food was very good, and we enjoyed the eggplant parm with red sauce and garlic sauce on the pasta. The pizza was good, and the sausage had a hint of spiciness. The water bottle was on the table, which was a nice convenience. The appetizer of crisp artichoke hearts was delicious, and the Aperol Spritz was perfectly made. The service was wonderful, and the staff was attentive and very friendly. Parking is easy in the lot right in front. The other day in celebration of Blu's birthday she wanted to try this Italian restaurant in an inconspicuous location of all places. We ensured to get there for happy hour which is 3-6 pm. They have a small happy hour menu but it had what I wanted. 12" pepperoni pizza and you can also purchase a bottle of wine for $18.00. Blu had the bolognese and it looked great and the small piece i had tasted great as well. Blu was impressed as well. It can get busy so reservations are recommended. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Best of all they give military discounts. read more

Good quality ingredients, friendly and prompt service and a nice, welcoming dining room. Two stars for all of our food having absolutely zero seasoning. We ordered the carbonara and the orrecchetti and they had no salt or pepper, no chili or herb flavor. Like eating plain pasta in a water sauce. Luckily there was salt, pepper, parm and Flatiron chili flakes on the table and we were able to rehabilitate the flavors. The food is made well but it's just insanely boring. read more

So expensive for such mediocre food. Ordered for take out and spent 22$ on a salad. Got grilled chicken which was served on the side, tiny portion no seasoning or flavor. Ordered two different salad dressings (the extra one for 1.25$!) and was sent with two identical ones. For a large salad one would not have been enough. My husband ordered pasta with salmon, also not an impressive portion or flavor. Salmon was burned. 60$ later, we ate, and we'll never go back. read more

I was staying at a local hotel and wanted to be able to walk to dinner. I found Viale on Yelp, and I'm so glad that I went! The pasta and drinks were great. Owner Erica was ever-present, and she's an extremely warm person. Bartender Will was kind and attentive (not to mention handsome). I met a regular customer who sat next to me, and she was awesome. We talked about all sorts of things, and the only reason we stopped talking was because it was closing time. There's an awesome vibe at Viale! Will definitely visit Erica and Will on future trips to Denver. read more

This is a legit Italian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Don't let the fact that it is in a strip mall-looking building fool you. The food is awesome. I always sit at the bar. First time coming here, and it was delicious! The calamari fries are yummy and the Italian sausage was unreal.

We went here on a Sunday night at 7pm. Initially I questioned why we'd made a reservation as it was pretty dead, however, around 730ish, people started piling in. We started with the arancini which was very tasty! We then got the chicken piccata and shrimp scampi, the shrimp scampi was delicious but unfortunately the chicken piccata was a bit of a letdown as there was basically no lemon flavoring which is a crucial element. For my birthday they surprised me with a caramel cheesecake that was so good! Our server was great! read more

I arrived solo at around 6:30 and was seated immediately. The service was timely, and both my waitress and the hostess were lovely. The interior is modern with a bar. The mozzarella & basil arancini $13 was very different from a classic suppli style arancini, but it was a delicious twist. The "lobster ravioli" $27 is a soup dish consisting of a tough lobster claw atop a bed of ricotta ravioli that do not actually contain lobster. This is supposed to be a vodka sauce, but was more similar to canned vegetable BROTH than vodka sauce. read more

Came across this place today. Grabbed a sandwich at Jersey Mikes. Noticed this restaurant at the end of the strip mall. I walked over and peeked the window. It looked cute. Saw a lunch special sign out front " pizza and a salad $13.00" just a few $$ more than my sandwich. I looked it up online and was impressed with menu options. I told my wife about it when I got home. We decided to try it for Happy Hour. It's refreshing seeing a happy hour got till 6:00PM. It seems everyone does happy hour 4-5? ( don't most people work until 5?) we arrived at 5:15 to a packed restaurant. Couldn't believe it?? The hostess asked if we had a reservation? Walk in I stated. 45 minutes was her reply. We tried to belly up to the bar, but it was packed with people with full drinks. Put our name on the waitlist. After about 10-15 minutes. The Hostess said she would squeeze us in because a reservation was over 15 minutes late. "We were thankful." The food and service was outstanding. The Happy Hour was great. We had a pizza, Brussel sprout and kale salad and roasted artichokes. Unfortunately they were out of mussels. The Waiter went above and beyond. Instantly our new favorite. Thank You read more

We got there for happy hour which was 4-6 2hr parking nice parking lot Water is good which is hard to find. Very clean establishment. Everything white and pristeen sleek and modern feel. Great ambiance. Relaxing music. Roomy tables. our waitress was wonderful, extremely inviting and gave us opinions about items on the menu when we asked. Our order APPETIZERS: Artichoke appetizer had really fibrous skin. Small baby ones that were just okay. Warm nuts were a great snack. Truffle fries thick crunchy flavorful. olive and tomatoes appetizer was ok. Bruschetta was tasty but not the treat best I've ever had. DRINKS: Vale sour drink was really good. Mules with tequila and one with vodka were really good! ENTREES: Bison short rib ravioli was a huge and very hearty portion. Flavorful and filling. A very substantial meal. Kids spaghetti portion was huge. Pork belly puccatini was tasty but the olives were excessive and really didn't need to be there. Jalepenos would've been good. Just needed some spice Lobster ravioli had a generous portion of lobster for the price and was delicious DESSERT: Tiramisu was moist creamy, not an overpowering coffee flavor. so good my 3yo niece loved it and she's not a fan of coffee flavored items, obviously Great spit and I can't wait to try them again! read more

Viale's is your neighborhood (South Colo. Blvd) pizza/pasta shop that's got a bit more style and a bit more class than your average Italian restaurant. Good prices and above-average meal quality mark it as a go-to regular stopover when you're craving some semolina this-and-that. Very good pizza (ask for the crust to be "crispy") and large servings (check out the size of the tiramisou!) tell you that you're not going away hungry. A Masterclass in How to Chase Away Loyal Customers The food? Good. The service? Good. I've been coming here for years--friends, family, clients, colleagues. I've probably done more marketing for this place than their PR team. So why the one star? Buckle up. Incident #1 A few weeks ago, two friends and I stopped in during happy hour--around 3:30 p.m. The place was empty. We ordered food, drinks, laughed, tipped well. Our sweet waitress even talked us into a round of shots before we left. Enter: The Fun Police. Before the glasses even hit the table, a woman I'd never seen swooped in and declared we had to leave immediately because of "upcoming reservations." No smile, no "thanks for coming," just pure managerial menace. After a happy afternoon with friends, we were essentially shoved out the door. I figured--bad day. It happens. Incident #2 Next visit, new guests, déjà vu. We arrived around 4:45, ordered the works--apps, entrees, cocktails. Everything was great... until dessert time. No menus, just the bill dropped like an unwanted plot twist. Our poor server looked like he was following orders from a hostage negotiator. We had already paid (with a 30% tip). Tables still open. And--boom--she reappears. Same woman, same energy, same "get out" vibes. Then the woman came back to explain herself. I told her calmly this was strike two, that I get turning tables, but there's a line between efficient and rude. She announced she was the owner--then walked off mid-sentence. Classy. Final Thoughts Love the food. Love the staff. The owner? Rude. Arrogant. Entirely out of touch with how to treat loyal customers. It genuinely saddens me to say that I can't continue to support a business run by someone so disrespectful. I'll also be making sure that every person I've brought here -- friends, family, colleagues, and clients -- knows exactly what happened. Go at your own risk. And if you see a woman sweeping past your table with an attitude--duck before the broom hits you. read more

The service ( thank you Connor, our waitstaff), was fun and helpful. This restaurant is in our neighborhood and I don't know about it! I've been looking for a neighborhood Italian restaurant with a neighborly vibe and good food. I've eaten here once and had take out once, in the span of 3 days. This is what my husband and I ate: Grilled artichoke hearts in a lemon sauce, mussels, very fresh, wedge salad, crisp, cold and not drenched in dressing, chicken piccata in a light lemon sauce with delicious pasta and a cannoli that was one of the best I've ever had and I've had them in Italy. Take out was beet salad, amazing! The white pizza also delicious and the crust was perfection. Chicken parm, I've been waiting for a chicken parm that was tender, not overly breaded or oily. This is a perfect parm. Again the pasta side in marinara sauce was tasty. Another cannoli which did not disappoint again. I'm gushing and looking forward to my next visit! read more

I'm glad I got a chance to try this place! My truffle shuffle pizza was delicious. Perfect amount of cheese. The crust was amazing. My guy doesn't like mushrooms so I got the whole pie to myself. Headed to Denver for a concert with some friends recently. Checked out Viale Pizza & Kitchen since it was near where we were staying. It was a cute place. For drinks, I tried the Viale Peach & Pineapple Sangria. It was very sweet. I tasted more pineapple than peach in this drink. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sweeter drink & enjoy pineapple flavors. For meals, I ordered the Fresh Mozzarella & Basil Arancini which was a basil risotto cake. It was really good! I've never had risotto before so I didn't have much to compare it with but it had a slight texture of rice but more creamy. I also tried the tomato basil soup and enjoyed it, I wish it did come with a larger piece of dipping bread, or even two pieces. Seemed very dainty for this bowl. I shared the spaghetti dish with my friend. I appreciated that they separated the meal onto two plates for us. My other friend ordered the pepperoni pizza. Cute place. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more
