This place is perfect for a date night. Great ambience, food was spectacular and drink menu was . Started off with delicious cocktails, an heirloom tomato salad and the focaccia e ricotta..it was so fluffy and delicious. I've never had anything like it if I'm honest. My husband and I shared the Agnello (lamb) it was very delicious. I wish we were hungry enough to also have ravioli but if I wanna keep my waist line, we can't do that so instead we split some pistachio gelato and an espresso martini and it was the perfect way to finish off the night. service was impeccable. I would definitely come back here again. Wish I lived closer.

I've been to Spuntino several times now and have never once been disappointed. We typically get the burrata or focaccia, and last night we had both! Of course, the bread was salty and fresh and the cheeses were spectacular. Their focaccia is my favorite - the olive oil and garlic cloves are a perfect dining experience. Their pasta of the day was my favorite - carbonara! Their pasta is cooked beautifully as usual, and everyone's dish was better than expected. The cocktails were strong but flavorful. I got a sour and was pleasantly surprised. It was very summery and refreshing but packed a punch. We ended the night with the crème brûlée, which was AMAZING! A great size for the price. We also had affogatos, which were with their chocolate salted caramel gelato. I think this flavor may be limited and I cannot recommend it enough. While I may not live in Denver anymore, I always look fondly to spuntino when I'm in town.

Spuntino is working on its 15th year, but it is a bit out of the way for me and I had not been back for a long time. My friend had never been, so we decided it was time to give it a try. Note that although Spuntino was originally developed by noted chef John Broening as an Italian Restaurant, the current chef/owner (since September 2014), Cindhura Reddy, is of Indian descent and has gradually added more Indian flavors to the offerings. You might consider this Italian-Indian fusion. Only in America! The space seems very narrow with a large bar on the right and a line of tables along a banquette on the left. There's a more expansive room way in the back plus a steep staircase leading to the basement restrooms--not handicap accessible. The design is rustic and comfortable, but it's starting to look a little dated to me. A bit of a refresh might be in order. The Lower Highlands neighborhood is extremely crowded and parking is a huge problem. The restaurant has its own parking lot with about a dozen spaces. I was lucky enough to snag the last one at 5:15 p.m. on a Saturday. Our server, Lindsey, was patient, knowledgeable, charming, and extremely efficient. Everything was perfectly timed, glasses were always full, and plates were cleared immediately. She was really terrific. I'm a huge arancini fan and almost always order it when I have the option. This version was one of the best. Confit artichokes were new to me, but the combination with mascarpone, pine nuts, and Pecorino really hit the spot with the flavorful and slightly spicy marinara. Alas, no photo. The dish was so appealing that we gobbled it up before I could grab my phone. There's a fairly extensive and eclectic but well-chosen wine list with impressive by-the-glass offerings. I chose a very enjoyable Barolo. The cocktail list is also interesting. My friend had his usual Negroni and pronounced it very well-executed. I then had the Agnello, braised lamb osso bucco with saffron basmati rice, broccolini, cilantro, and red onion. The lamb was extraordinarily tender with a wonderful, rich sauce. The South Indian flavors were a perfect combination. The portion was huge, even considering the large bones. I had a heavy box of yummy leftovers. My friend went for the Pesce, Colorado striped bass with m'hamsa couscous (a traditional Berber version from Tunisia), romesco sauce, spring onions, and toasted almonds. He enjoyed it and thought the flavors were great. We had a very pleasant evening and we're still talking about it several days later. Spuntino is a unique experience provided by a very talented and creative chef. It is definitely worth a try.

Excellent food for a group! The special lasagna was amazing. Gnocchetti was amazing. I would highly recommend this place if you're able to go! No complaints from anyone in the group!

This is my 1st visit of 2026. Full house with a large party in the back. I sat at my customary table for two. Menu has not changed since November. I was served by Matthew Y. I find he is one of better servers in regard to wine selections. I started with new for me cocktail, 3 Amaro Gimlet. It was Braulio & Nardini amaro's from Italy and Elliott of Spuntino's Amaro creation + lime juice. It was a served in a coupe glass. Smooth and not bitter. Matthew Y gave the details for the Pasta del Giorno. It was a Fettuccine with house-made noodles in a Saffron sauce with jumbo lump crab for $33. I selected their Insalata with Rebel Farm greens, goat cheese, pear slice, candied walnuts and Prosciutto di Parma with the pasta special. I splurged a little and got a bottle of Accadia Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico, an excellent white wine from the Marche region of Italy for $50. This winemaker uses a screw top cap instead of a cork. More Italian winemakers are switching to caps. Lots of crab in the pasta dish. For dessert, I got the Orange Olive Oil Torte with creme anglaise. Very flavorable. I tipped my usual 20% and made my next reservation. Note: OpenTable is their preferred platform but am unable to reserve for 1 person.

I'm not sure why it has taken a month to write this review because we had a wonderful dinner with the best service. In this quaint neighborhood eatery. All the food was delicious and very well priced. We started with the antipasto that had a small issue when we brought it to the attention of the restaurant it was immediately corrected and taken off the bill which was not even necessary but it showed how important guest satisfaction is to them. We also had the arancini as a starter agin delicious. We had a second course of Fazzoletti. Our mains consisted of Granchio and Raviolini both Italian pasta masterpieces. Out tummies where too full for dessert but we did try a complementary limoncello. To sum it all up... great food great service in a lovely neighborhood restaurant

What a great experience. I was in town for work and Spuntino came highly recommended and I can see why. I sat at the bar, but that may have been better than a table. When I finished up my phenomenal food I had a next level Amaro tasting and I can't wait to go back for some off of the beaten path options. If you are thinking about stopping in, here is your sign.

Wow! How did I just find this gem? The happy hour menu was good from meatballs to a sandwich but the sweet potato gnocchi from the main was out of this world. My husband all but licked the plate clean. The other standout was the bread and cocktails. They do have an extensive wine list but I wasn't feeling a glass of wine so I opted for a cocktail. I was informed that the menu does change based on what is in season. I can't wait to go back in a different season and try a few more fish as well as some wine.

Great place for a date night! Could be difficult for larger groups. Layout is narrow. The bar flows into the kitchen and it is truly amazing how much great and good food comes out of that tiny kitchen. Staff helped us choose a good wine, that complimented our meal.

Focaccia and ricotta with roasted garlic -- the roasted garlic is a MUST

This place was such an awesome find! It's in a house so it feels more cozy, which goes well with the dim light. Our server was really kind, even bringing us arancini that was made in excess to commemorate our "girls night" in Denver. The arancini was perfectly crispy on the outside but light and then creamy on the inside with a savory tomato sauce. We also got the focaccia with ricotta and roasted garlic. The combo of the roasted garlic and ricotta with bread was incredible. The tomato appetizer was fresh and tasty, with a base of labneh, layered sliced tomatoes and then topped with basil and balsamic glaze. Excellent. We then tried a few pasta entries -- my favorite being the Indian-Italian fusion of cavapetti noodles with an Indian tomato sauce, cashews and coconut with chicken. They have many veg friendly options, which worked well for my company. We got one option with thick noodles and lemon sauce, which was okay, and then a layered pasta option which was intricate and tasty. The spritz was refreshing to drink. We finished the night (stuffed to the gills but happy) with the gelato trio -- Thai tea, olive oil and pistachio. My favorite was the Thai tea -- tasted very authentic and was the perfect taste! This is a fantastic authentic Indian-Italian fusion restaurant with yummy homemade pastas, with an option for everyone!

Our chef son is very finicky and hates most Italian food, BUT he loved this joint. We came in without reservations and were seated quickly next to the side window. The space is nicely laid out and decor is tasteful and minimal. We ordered the Arancini, Focaccia e Ricotta to start. Both were delicious and packed with flavor. Next was the Capellini Aglio e Olio....amazing! The Mezzalune were delicate and subtlety spicy. The wine and spirits selection are eclectic and vast. I opted for a wonderful glass of Tuscan Sangiovese. Desserts were a pumpkin zeppole and a scope each of (don't freak out) olive oil and oreo Gelato. All of which were delicious! We'll definitely be back!

I'd go back if a friend really wanted to go and we could sit at the bar, otherwise I was unimpressed with my experience there. 1. The decor/vibes are elegant and classy, but the staff aggressively ask for IDs at the door like bouncers instead of just asking at the time of ordering like a nice bar. Also the paper towels in the bathroom are the cheapest I've ever seen, not matching the facade of the place. They also make you pour your own water, just not elevated service considering the elevated appearance of the place. 2. Someone in my group called ahead the previous week to ask about a reservation accommodating 7 people since they only have reservations for up to 6 available online. When other people in the group arrived, the hostess/waitress was very resistant to us explaining our phone reservation and made us stand there at the front door to discuss instead of just letting us sit in the very empty seating area. After a few minutes of this, they finally let us sit in the wide open area for "an hour" until their actual reservation 1:45 after our arrival. The seating areas were small, so it makes sense they don't offer reservations for 7+, but then their employee shouldn't have told us on the phone that it'd be okay. 3. We watched them turn away a group with a silent infant because it wasn't 21, which just seemed odd. At the end they did bring our group cute cava shots, but I don't feel like that made up for the unwelcoming attitude of the staff.

Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I'm a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don't mind paying a bit extra. It is a bit loud in there (we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation) but it is also a vinyl place so you would expect them to show off their music.

Everything is perfection from the delicious food, the outstanding service, and the beautiful decor. I know this sounds like hyperbole but dining here was an experience I'll never forget. I'm not even a fan of uni nor scallops but the dish was so good especially with the aguachile. Do not skip that dish especially if you like a little bit of spicy. The Tostada del Toro was next up. This is the dish that everyone gets here and for good reason. First off, look at all those chives. The tostada shell was amazing with a nice charred taste to it and the aged toro (aged 3-6 days) was so flavorful and melted in the mouth. The burrata con huitlacoche was the most unique burrata dish I have ever had. The combination of the toasted bread, savory burrata, sweet nut crunch, and the unique taste of huitlacoche (Mexican caviar) was so well-done and just all fit so well together. Last but not least, the tres leches. Hands down, the best dessert I have ever had. Not too sweet and just heavenly. Do not skip this. I'm pretty sure I said "wow" after every bite. Second, drinks. I love mezcal. If you are a fan of mezcal or tequila, this place is a must go. I was given a free birthday shot with a side of crickets (I hate bugs but try it, it's actually really good), orange, and wormsalt. We got the Stinger and Colada. I would highly recommend getting a seat at the chef's table if you can. Food was elevated across the board. The tostada de toro was the standout. So fresh, perfectly balanced, creamy from the avocado with a nice crunch from the shell and sesame seeds. 9.5/10. Everything else was solid and flavorful, just not as memorable. Around 7.5/10 across those dishes. Drinks were good too. The daiquiri had a fun bubble gum flavor that I actually liked. 8/10. The corn sour was interesting with the mezcal base and surprisingly worked. 7/10. Loved that the drinks were strong. Overall, a really solid Michelin experience with great vibes and standout bites.

I've been staying at home, but was out of some of the beer I wanted to use. I went out for another errand and happened to pass by Cask and Craft. Hmmm...this sounds interesting. Plus it's a local shop, and I'm all about supporting local, particularly during this time. I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I then explained from a distance that I was looking for a dark beer, preferably a stout. I was escorted to the back of the store and shown the fridge with all the dark beer. WOW! big selection. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout. When I brought up my 5 pack, the owner told me it was a great beer (one of his favorite dark beers) and that it was a solid choice. He was not wrong. This beer is awesome, and paired so well with my peanut butter cookie pairing. So good. I will definitely be back to Cask and Craft. Their shop is filled with all different types of wine, liquor, and beer. It's organized so nicely, and the shop itself has this comforting vibe when you walk in. I'm so appreciative of everything they are doing to keep customers safe and for the recommendations they give.

The store staff practices social distancing and makes sure all customers use fh sanitizer provided at the entrance. Awesome! Never ever shop and touch anything with unsanitized hands. The store is immaculate and organized! I got two bottles as a gift to Hubby's niece.
