Wow, wow, wow. Everything about this place was a 10/10 for us. We went to HH on a Sunday and enjoyed the cocktail of the day which was a refreshing guava and rum based drink. We also ordered the cheese and honey appetizer on the HH menu- amazing! The bread it comes with is the best bread I've had in a while. We ordered the seasonal Peachza pizza and it was the best peach one we've tried so far! Ordered a Meatball pizza to go (added pepperoni) and enjoyed that heated up in the oven later. The service was so attentive and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambience is a modern but cozy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely will be back!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty solid happy hour! We sat outside on the patio and it was a vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got the pesto pasta that was amazing!! Hadn't had it before and it was awesome. We also got the daisy pizza for $10 and each had an oyster! The happy hour red wine was chilled and lovely but I liked the white a bit more. There were 3 of us, we all got 2 drinks and it was $99. Not toooo bad

Our date night at Cart-Driver was divine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere and vibe is warm and cozy, but upscale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cocktails were excellent - we had an espresso martini and The Floor is Guava. The Floor is Guava was fruity and flavorful, but not too sweet. We started with some east coast oysters - they tasted very fresh and perfect amount of brine. I loved using the house hot sauce with them and wish I had a bottle for home. Next was the farm greens salad, which was so bright and balanced. The breadcrumbs topped it off right! Perfect starter to have ahead of pizza. We ordered the Peppers pizza and Meatball pizza. You can't go wrong with either, but Peppers was both of our favorite with the heat from the Calabrian chili. While we loved everything, it's worth noting it took 40 minutes to get our pizzas. While this was surprising for thin crust, the menu said they like to course things out for the experience, so beware if you are in a hurry.

We had a wonderful early dinner here! We had a dozen oysters, panzanella salad which was wonderfully fresh with grape tomatoes and local peaches, roasted mushrooms and two pizzas! We have an ooni pizza oven at home which makes fantastic pizzas, but we will certainly come back for these pizzas! Perfect amount of cheese and sauce, plus customizable toppings and homemade hot sauce. Absolutely exceeded our expectations!

We drove to Cart Driver with a group of seven adults for a 9 PM weekday reservation. No issues with street parking at that time of day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated at a corner table, which fit us perfectly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Started with some greens (their Farm Greens Salad). Tasty and piled high with fun, crunchy toppings. We ordered 4 pizzas which was the right amount for us. The pizza crust is really nice - thin and chewy. Plenty of flavor from the sourdough starter and char, but you can eat it with some sauce if you want to. My favorites factoring uniqueness and flavor were the Pickle (white sauce pizza with pickles - an odd pairing that works), Clam (comes with pancetta), and Mushroom + Sausage. I thought the Cart-Driver was ok (a bit kale overload). One odd thing about this place is they only slice the pizza into six slices. We asked in a few different ways to see if they could slice it into eight for more convenient sharing but were shut down. I'm sure they had some rationale for it, but I certainly couldn't come up with a reason. We had to awkwardly cut it ourselves and that didn't work well. Overall, aside from the pizza slicing issue, we had a pretty good experience here.

Have been to the OG Cart-Driver in downtown Denver previously. I think the OG has a better handle on pizza than here at the Lohi location. Yes, the food is good here at the Lohi location and yes, the salad and olives were divine, but I was just so underwhelmed with the market pizza which was the special of the day. It was not as advertised so I would recommend against it. Service also left a bit to be desired. Our server never came back to check on us after our food came out and I was in need of napkins and water. Happy Hour is literally an hour from 4-5 with only a few options on the HH menu. So my Aperol Spritz was only $14 instead of $15. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute set up, but left with a meh taste in my mouth.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Good thing we ordered the chicken liver mousse (which was actually pretty good), because our pizzas took over 45 minutes (!!!) to come out. The crust seemed a little underdone, and not super flavorful. I'm usually a crust lover, but I didn't finish these. The clam pizza was decent, but DO NOT get the market pizza. It was lacking in flavor but even worse the pesto was a vibrant neon-ish green color and tasted like lawn clippings.

I lived around the corner from this place for a summer, and I tried the clam pizza once. Five years later and I was back in town and one of my few requests was to go get this same pizza. It was just as good as I remembered. My friend and I sat at the bar and had great, quick service. We ordered the clam pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and some drinks. Everything was just as good as I remembered. The restaurant was busy- even on a Wednesday night, so be sure to make a reservation if you want a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is very clean and lively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Makes for a great dinner out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The good: Being from the northeast originally it is hard to come by pie and shellfish that meets my standards here in Colorado. With that being said i think the oysters we had were incredibly fresh and delicious. The bad: I booked this restaurant to celebrate my partner's 27th birthday as she loves pizza and italian food in general. As i was making the reservation i put in the notes that it was a birthday celebration and yet when we arrived i was disappointed to find out that not only do they not offer "bubbles" or a dessert to celebrate but not ONE person who touched our table wished her happy birthday. When i ordered dessert they couldn't even bother to put a candle in it. They did absolutely nothing to help celebrate her special occasion. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 15+ years. I've done everything from CDC, to serving, bartending, dishwashing, you name it - i don't expect much but when 2 pizzas, 4 drinks and 4 oysters cost $190 the least you can do is acknowledge the celebratory note listed on the reservation. The ugly: The pizza here is incredibly overpriced and overrated. Both pies we had were undercooked on the bottom. While the crust has a nice char to it the bottom was as pale as flour. The clam pizza had maybe 5 little neck clams on it which was sold to me at "MP" ($20+). The special pie of calabrian chile and peach had a great flavor profile yet was under cooked so the texture was far too soft to handle the weight of the toppings. TL;DR: better neapolitan pie exists in Denver for much less. The oysters were good but the lack of variety and accoutrements was underwhelming. MOST importantly the feeling of hospitality is little to none here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is a fast casual spot with fine dining prices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Do not come here to celebrate anything special - you will be disappointed.

Fastest service of my life. We were only in there for 45 min total with an order of drinks, 2 appetizers and a pizza to share. The pizza certainly lived up to the hype and everything tasted sooo fresh!

Went during HH (a literal hour from 4-5pm daily) and stayed for dinner. Ordered off both menus. We were a party of four. Half of us were very pleased with what we ordered, while the other half were disappointed and had food envy. I was fortunate to be in the first group. The happy hour white wine was a nice Pinot Grigio at a generous $8 pour. The chicken liver mousse had a nice spice with a touch of sweetness, with the seasonal mostarda on top, and was served with plenty of rosemary focaccia. After seeing the rave reviews for the Farm Greens Salad, I ordered it for the table to share--definitely a hit with the parm vinaigrette, pickled onions, and artichoke. My friend and I shared the mussels, a half-pound portion of some of the largest mussels I have seen. The salsa verde was a perfect compliment. Although friendly, our server didn't check on us as frequently as our table needed, but did meet my requests whenever I caught her attention. My disappointed friends ordered the pizza, which did not meet the hype.

Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I'm a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don't mind paying a bit extra. It is a bit loud in there (we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation) but it is also a vinyl place so you would expect them to show off their music.

The smoked burrata was delicious, especially with all the toppings it came with. The sea bass completely surprised me, in the best way. Sweet, spicy, savory, crunchy, with so many different textures and flavors happening at once. The lamb skewers were another favorite. The meat was thinly sliced and secured on the skewer, which made every bite incredibly tender. They were just bomb overall! And from that point on, from first taste, I knew my experience would be exceptional. The service was attentive without being overly attentive, and the chef's were so kind, answering every one of my weird questions about what they were preparing or ingredients that I noticed. I ordered the smoked burrata to start. The balance between the candied pistachio, artichoke pesto, and wagyu cecina really created a well balanced and unexpected dish. The burrata was creamy and the salty and sweet components balanced the aged sherry gastrique and made for an incredible intro to a beautiful performance by the chefs. Next was another small dish, which I wish I remembered the description for (I need to bring a little notebook with me), but it was a perfect segue into the next course, the ibérico presa. Wow. Just wow. White asparagus has got to be one of my favorite vegetables next to artichokes, when done exceptionally well, as they most definitely were. The piquillo peppers and pickled shallots complemented the pork, which was so soft, perfectly. I definitely died and went to heaven at this point in the meal. This is probably when I should've stopped eating because after this point, still pure delight, but my poor stomach was soooooo full. Next was another small bite to lead into my next course, also incredible. Wish I could describe it. My next course was the European sea bass. Now, sea bass is my favorite fish of all time. The perfectly crisp skin, the red onion jam, the spicy sweet balance was perfection. I loved every bite. The olive oil potatoes were a perfect complement. And at this point, I was bursting at the seems... but I still ordered dessert, because you only live once and food is one of the great joys of life. For dessert, I had the crema. The honeycomb on top, the cherries, all leading to a perfect finish. A time was had. Thanks El Five

Loved the perfectly chewy ropes of bucatini tangled with crumbled blue cheese, Castelvetrano olives -- and vodka sauce? This should've been a weird disaster, but wound up being our table's favorite dish. Every dish is a commitment to the genuinely unexpected. There was something delightfully more than just salt, pepper and fry behind the eggroll-sized mozarella sticks. Then there was the fig gelato, flanked by warm pear -- and oh my gosh, the apple tart! We had to go back and reread the menu to realize that the caramel really was spicy! This kitchen really finds the funky note in a dish and leans into it. Come ready to share. Every item comes in a "single" and a "mingle" size, which was great for our table of four. We would order 1-2 mingle-sized items, pass them around, and argue about who gets the last forkful. The rough edge is perhaps the service, but this spot is new and finding its rhythm. We found the handoff between counter and floor to be clunky, since it felt like pressure to order in order to be seated, not to order drinks and wait for a table. Maybe this works in a larger space. Maybe they just need to smooth out the flow. Either way, the people are sweet, and the food delicious.

Coming into it, I know Boombots has an eclectic restaurant with a fusion pasta menu, and I was fully on board with trying some weird, funky pasta. The restaurant was nicely laid out and decorated, and the vibes are great. The drinks are delicious and they have one of my favorite non-alcoholic cocktails (What the Hellyante). However, the mains come and the wheels fell apart. We got the congee risotto, the bucatini primavera, and the gyros cavatelli. Let's start with the positive. The bucatini primavera was tasty. The pasta was well cooked and everything ate very well together, albeit a little dry. Overall, a good dish. The congee risotto was also not bad. It was definitely one of the dish I was looking forward as someone who followed their Instagram, but the execution was off. The rice was well cooked but it ate just a tad bland. The 63 degree egg was just a tad over and unfortunately, the told was on the cold side. That said, it was tasty nonetheless. My least favorite part was the amount of toasted seeds on top. There was simply too much and it knocked the balance of the dish towards overly crunchy, which is not necessarily what you expect in a risotto or a congee dish. Finally, the gyros cavatelli was just not it. In my opinion, the dish just didn't work for me. It's a dish with za'atar pasta, gyros, cherry tomatoes, pickled red onions, crispy chickpeas, dill, nad tzakiki. The warm tzakiki sauce along with the picked red onions and cherry tomatoes ensure the dish eats on the sour side. For me as well, the warm tzakiki was off putting in smell and taste. The pasta was also undercooked and grainy. It wasn't al dente, just undercooked. And with everything, the gyros is kind of lost. Overall, just a really odd dish in terms of conception and execution, and one that I didn't enjoy. Overall, I will be generous and give 3/5. I think service was pretty good, the drinks were delicious, and the price was acceptable. Other dishes, such as the lumache and the salads, looks pretty good as well. But based on what I got today, I cannot recommend the dishes we got at Boombots.

Kind of wish the tuna was maybe seared or was something different, but I did like the dish. The short ribs were so tender and delicious. The tortillas were fresh and wonderful as well. The tres leches dessert was also really tasty and had the perfect ratio of cake to milk without it all falling apart from being too wet. In terms of drinks, the corn sour and beet spritz were absolutely amazing. The Negroni was good as well but I think I prefer a classic Italian one. Service was good although sometimes I felt like our server was watching us too closely and I felt weird. In addition on two separate occasions, the cooks that brought the food out touched the food on our plates to make it look nicer. I've been staying at home, but was out of some of the beer I wanted to use. I went out for another errand and happened to pass by Cask and Craft. Hmmm...this sounds interesting. Plus it's a local shop, and I'm all about supporting local, particularly during this time. I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I then explained from a distance that I was looking for a dark beer, preferably a stout. I was escorted to the back of the store and shown the fridge with all the dark beer. WOW! big selection. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout. When I brought up my 5 pack, the owner told me it was a great beer (one of his favorite dark beers) and that it was a solid choice. He was not wrong. This beer is awesome, and paired so well with my peanut butter cookie pairing. So good. I will definitely be back to Cask and Craft. Their shop is filled with all different types of wine, liquor, and beer. It's organized so nicely, and the shop itself has this comforting vibe when you walk in. I'm so appreciative of everything they are doing to keep customers safe and for the recommendations they give.

The store staff practices social distancing and makes sure all customers use fh sanitizer provided at the entrance. Awesome! Never ever shop and touch anything with unsanitized hands. The store is immaculate and organized! I got two bottles as a gift to Hubby's niece.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

And, wow - the space is amazing - lots of details, lots of interesting things to look at and fantastic bar. This place has so much character and style. We sat at the bar and chit chatted with the bar staff as the night began and folks began to stream in. They are a really well oiled machine, taking great care of everyone - at the bar, along the back wall and at the tables in the rear. The drinks? Really, really good - creative and inspired. This isn't your run of the mill place. Kudos to this team!
