Always a great time at cart driver. Food is always really good and pretty affordable for the ambience of the place

Fastest service of my life. We were only in there for 45 min total with an order of drinks, 2 appetizers and a pizza to share. The pizza certainly lived up to the hype and everything tasted sooo fresh!

We drove to Cart Driver with a group of seven adults for a 9 PM weekday reservation. No issues with street parking at that time of day. We were seated at a corner table, which fit us perfectly. Started with some greens (their Farm Greens Salad). Tasty and piled high with fun, crunchy toppings. We ordered 4 pizzas which was the right amount for us. The pizza crust is really nice - thin and chewy. Plenty of flavor from the sourdough starter and char, but you can eat it with some sauce if you want to. My favorites factoring uniqueness and flavor were the Pickle (white sauce pizza with pickles - an odd pairing that works), Clam (comes with pancetta), and Mushroom + Sausage. I thought the Cart-Driver was ok (a bit kale overload). One odd thing about this place is they only slice the pizza into six slices. We asked in a few different ways to see if they could slice it into eight for more convenient sharing but were shut down. I'm sure they had some rationale for it, but I certainly couldn't come up with a reason. We had to awkwardly cut it ourselves and that didn't work well. Overall, aside from the pizza slicing issue, we had a pretty good experience here.

I lived around the corner from this place for a summer, and I tried the clam pizza once. Five years later and I was back in town and one of my few requests was to go get this same pizza. It was just as good as I remembered. My friend and I sat at the bar and had great, quick service. We ordered the clam pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and some drinks. Everything was just as good as I remembered. The restaurant was busy- even on a Wednesday night, so be sure to make a reservation if you want a table. The place is very clean and lively. Makes for a great dinner out.

Have been to the OG Cart-Driver in downtown Denver previously. I think the OG has a better handle on pizza than here at the Lohi location. Yes, the food is good here at the Lohi location and yes, the salad and olives were divine, but I was just so underwhelmed with the market pizza which was the special of the day. It was not as advertised so I would recommend against it. Service also left a bit to be desired. Our server never came back to check on us after our food came out and I was in need of napkins and water. Happy Hour is literally an hour from 4-5 with only a few options on the HH menu. So my Aperol Spritz was only $14 instead of $15. It's a cute set up, but left with a meh taste in my mouth.

Good thing we ordered the chicken liver mousse (which was actually pretty good), because our pizzas took over 45 minutes (!!!) to come out. The crust seemed a little underdone, and not super flavorful. I'm usually a crust lover, but I didn't finish these. The clam pizza was decent, but DO NOT get the market pizza. It was lacking in flavor but even worse the pesto was a vibrant neon-ish green color and tasted like lawn clippings.

The good: Being from the northeast originally it is hard to come by pie and shellfish that meets my standards here in Colorado. With that being said i think the oysters we had were incredibly fresh and delicious. The bad: I booked this restaurant to celebrate my partner's 27th birthday as she loves pizza and italian food in general. As i was making the reservation i put in the notes that it was a birthday celebration and yet when we arrived i was disappointed to find out that not only do they not offer "bubbles" or a dessert to celebrate but not ONE person who touched our table wished her happy birthday. When i ordered dessert they couldn't even bother to put a candle in it. They did absolutely nothing to help celebrate her special occasion. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 15+ years. I've done everything from CDC, to serving, bartending, dishwashing, you name it - i don't expect much but when 2 pizzas, 4 drinks and 4 oysters cost $190 the least you can do is acknowledge the celebratory note listed on the reservation. The ugly: The pizza here is incredibly overpriced and overrated. Both pies we had were undercooked on the bottom. While the crust has a nice char to it the bottom was as pale as flour. The clam pizza had maybe 5 little neck clams on it which was sold to me at "MP" ($20+). The special pie of calabrian chile and peach had a great flavor profile yet was under cooked so the texture was far too soft to handle the weight of the toppings. TL;DR: better neapolitan pie exists in Denver for much less. The oysters were good but the lack of variety and accoutrements was underwhelming. MOST importantly the feeling of hospitality is little to none here. This place is a fast casual spot with fine dining prices. Do not come here to celebrate anything special - you will be disappointed.

Went during HH (a literal hour from 4-5pm daily) and stayed for dinner. Ordered off both menus. We were a party of four. Half of us were very pleased with what we ordered, while the other half were disappointed and had food envy. I was fortunate to be in the first group. The happy hour white wine was a nice Pinot Grigio at a generous $8 pour. The chicken liver mousse had a nice spice with a touch of sweetness, with the seasonal mostarda on top, and was served with plenty of rosemary focaccia. After seeing the rave reviews for the Farm Greens Salad, I ordered it for the table to share--definitely a hit with the parm vinaigrette, pickled onions, and artichoke. My friend and I shared the mussels, a half-pound portion of some of the largest mussels I have seen. The salsa verde was a perfect compliment. Although friendly, our server didn't check on us as frequently as our table needed, but did meet my requests whenever I caught her attention. My disappointed friends ordered the pizza, which did not meet the hype.

I've visit their RiNo location before and loved the food but their LoHi location has even more options and way more space! They have an outdoor patio that was full when we dined on a Friday for happy hour but the indoor seating was a great option. Their happy hour included drinks, oysters, and the Daisy pizza and more. The happy hour cocktail was super tasty and rotates, which I love. The cheese pizza was just as good as I remember! Our server was great and quick. We have a miscommunication about the happy hour negroni but she was able to fix it without issue. I will certainly be back and can't wait to try their pastas at this location.

I've been here a handful of times and I've had good and sub-par experiences. That being said, this past trip was amazing. Unknowingly popped in during happy hour so we had to oblige in some cocktails. The messed-up-Negroni is fire. The addition of Prosecco in their take on a Negroni makes the cocktail extremely crushable with the same bitter taste of the original. Big fan. We threw back a couple oysters and they thoroughly impressed me. Fresh and no salty fish taste at all, great presentation as well. We started with some bread and butter. Slightly charred focaccia with a rotating compound butter. The butter at the time was a salsa verde flavor which tasted a lot better than you would think. Great way to get warmed up for more carbs. The entrees we ordered were the Zaerano Farfalle and Prosciutto and the Daisy pizza. The farfalle was the star of the show. Full of flavor from the sauce. Almost like a buttery broth. For pasta this is as light as it gets, but the flavor is all there! The daisy was great too, nothing much to report. Above average Neapolitan style pizza. Great size for 17$. If you're hungry you could probably crush it yourself. The restaurant itself is well kept and charming. Upscale feel and decor - type of place to impress your parents with a casual meal. Might sound weird but they have misters for their outside seating and they perfectly offset the 90° weather. Our service was great! Accurate and timely. Friendly and upbeat. Very fun and delicious meal.

Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I'm a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don't mind paying a bit extra. It is a bit loud in there (we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation) but it is also a vinyl place so you would expect them to show off their music.

The menu was recently refreshed and it shows. The mushroom paella was loaded and perfectly cooked, the burrata was a solid start, and the Turkish pizza with halloumi was a surprise standout. The poached cod was also great, especially the sauce. The drinks were just as strong. The L5 margarita with salt foam was really good, and even the frosé, which I usually skip, worked perfectly here. The vibe is a big part of it. The downtown views are hard to beat and the patio is easily one of the better ones in the city. Inside also feels intentional and well designed. Service was excellent. This should've been a weird disaster, but wound up being our table's favorite dish. Every dish is a commitment to the genuinely unexpected. There was something delightfully more than just salt, pepper and fry behind the eggroll-sized mozarella sticks. Then there was the fig gelato, flanked by warm pear -- and oh my gosh, the apple tart! We had to go back and reread the menu to realize that the caramel really was spicy! This kitchen really finds the funky note in a dish and leans into it. Come ready to share. Every item comes in a "single" and a "mingle" size, which was great for our table of four. We would order 1-2 mingle-sized items, pass them around, and argue about who gets the last forkful. The rough edge is perhaps the service, but this spot is new and finding its rhythm. We found the handoff between counter and floor to be clunky, since it felt like pressure to order in order to be seated, not to order drinks and wait for a table. Maybe this works in a larger space. Maybe they just need to smooth out the flow. Either way, the people are sweet, and the food delicious.

Plus it's a local shop, and I'm all about supporting local, particularly during this time. I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I then explained from a distance that I was looking for a dark beer, preferably a stout. I was escorted to the back of the store and shown the fridge with all the dark beer. WOW! big selection. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout. When I brought up my 5 pack, the owner told me it was a great beer (one of his favorite dark beers) and that it was a solid choice. He was not wrong. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board.
