I lived around the corner from this place for a summer, and I tried the clam pizza once. Five years later and I was back in town and one of my few requests was to go get this same pizza. It was just as good as I remembered. My friend and I sat at the bar and had great, quick service. We ordered the clam pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and some drinks. Everything was just as good as I remembered. The restaurant was busy- even on a Wednesday night, so be sure to make a reservation if you want a table. The place is very clean and lively. Makes for a great dinner out.

Have been to the OG Cart-Driver in downtown Denver previously. I think the OG has a better handle on pizza than here at the Lohi location. Yes, the food is good here at the Lohi location and yes, the salad and olives were divine, but I was just so underwhelmed with the market pizza which was the special of the day. It was not as advertised so I would recommend against it. Service also left a bit to be desired. Our server never came back to check on us after our food came out and I was in need of napkins and water. Happy Hour is literally an hour from 4-5 with only a few options on the HH menu. So my Aperol Spritz was only $14 instead of $15. It's a cute set up, but left with a meh taste in my mouth.

Good thing we ordered the chicken liver mousse (which was actually pretty good), because our pizzas took over 45 minutes (!!!) to come out. The crust seemed a little underdone, and not super flavorful. I'm usually a crust lover, but I didn't finish these. The clam pizza was decent, but DO NOT get the market pizza. It was lacking in flavor but even worse the pesto was a vibrant neon-ish green color and tasted like lawn clippings.

The good: Being from the northeast originally it is hard to come by pie and shellfish that meets my standards here in Colorado. With that being said i think the oysters we had were incredibly fresh and delicious. The bad: I booked this restaurant to celebrate my partner's 27th birthday as she loves pizza and italian food in general. As i was making the reservation i put in the notes that it was a birthday celebration and yet when we arrived i was disappointed to find out that not only do they not offer "bubbles" or a dessert to celebrate but not ONE person who touched our table wished her happy birthday. When i ordered dessert they couldn't even bother to put a candle in it. They did absolutely nothing to help celebrate her special occasion. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 15+ years. I've done everything from CDC, to serving, bartending, dishwashing, you name it - i don't expect much but when 2 pizzas, 4 drinks and 4 oysters cost $190 the least you can do is acknowledge the celebratory note listed on the reservation. The ugly: The pizza here is incredibly overpriced and overrated. Both pies we had were undercooked on the bottom. While the crust has a nice char to it the bottom was as pale as flour. The clam pizza had maybe 5 little neck clams on it which was sold to me at "MP" ($20+). The special pie of calabrian chile and peach had a great flavor profile yet was under cooked so the texture was far too soft to handle the weight of the toppings. TL;DR: better neapolitan pie exists in Denver for much less. The oysters were good but the lack of variety and accoutrements was underwhelming. MOST importantly the feeling of hospitality is little to none here. This place is a fast casual spot with fine dining prices. Do not come here to celebrate anything special - you will be disappointed.

Met my Niece in Denver it was great to catch up. She loves this restaurant so we went. Great food. Server was fantastic, she was from South Florida so we connected well. Cocktails and suggestions were spot on.

Went during HH (a literal hour from 4-5pm daily) and stayed for dinner. Ordered off both menus. We were a party of four. Half of us were very pleased with what we ordered, while the other half were disappointed and had food envy. I was fortunate to be in the first group. The happy hour white wine was a nice Pinot Grigio at a generous $8 pour. The chicken liver mousse had a nice spice with a touch of sweetness, with the seasonal mostarda on top, and was served with plenty of rosemary focaccia. After seeing the rave reviews for the Farm Greens Salad, I ordered it for the table to share--definitely a hit with the parm vinaigrette, pickled onions, and artichoke. My friend and I shared the mussels, a half-pound portion of some of the largest mussels I have seen. The salsa verde was a perfect compliment. Although friendly, our server didn't check on us as frequently as our table needed, but did meet my requests whenever I caught her attention. My disappointed friends ordered the pizza, which did not meet the hype.

I've visit their RiNo location before and loved the food but their LoHi location has even more options and way more space! They have an outdoor patio that was full when we dined on a Friday for happy hour but the indoor seating was a great option. Their happy hour included drinks, oysters, and the Daisy pizza and more. The happy hour cocktail was super tasty and rotates, which I love. The cheese pizza was just as good as I remember! Our server was great and quick. We have a miscommunication about the happy hour negroni but she was able to fix it without issue. I will certainly be back and can't wait to try their pastas at this location.

I've been here a handful of times and I've had good and sub-par experiences. That being said, this past trip was amazing. Unknowingly popped in during happy hour so we had to oblige in some cocktails. The messed-up-Negroni is fire. The addition of Prosecco in their take on a Negroni makes the cocktail extremely crushable with the same bitter taste of the original. Big fan. We threw back a couple oysters and they thoroughly impressed me. Fresh and no salty fish taste at all, great presentation as well. We started with some bread and butter. Slightly charred focaccia with a rotating compound butter. The butter at the time was a salsa verde flavor which tasted a lot better than you would think. Great way to get warmed up for more carbs. The entrees we ordered were the Zaerano Farfalle and Prosciutto and the Daisy pizza. The farfalle was the star of the show. Full of flavor from the sauce. Almost like a buttery broth. For pasta this is as light as it gets, but the flavor is all there! The daisy was great too, nothing much to report. Above average Neapolitan style pizza. Great size for 17$. If you're hungry you could probably crush it yourself. The restaurant itself is well kept and charming. Upscale feel and decor - type of place to impress your parents with a casual meal. Might sound weird but they have misters for their outside seating and they perfectly offset the 90° weather. Our service was great! Accurate and timely. Friendly and upbeat. Very fun and delicious meal.

This place is located in the center of LoHi. We found street parking. Had a reservation and we're seated on time. There is also an outdoor patio which is nice when the weather is appropriate outside. We came here a little bit earlier to get the happy hour cocktail deal. The happy hour menu, features several appetizers and cocktails. It was refreshing. After we got seated for dinner, the server was very friendly and gave us great recommendation. To start, we ordered a charcuterie board and added prosciutto on the side for an extra six dollars. My favorite thing on the board was the chicken liver moves and sausages. Another appetizer that we ordered was the beat and ricotta cheese salad. I highly recommend it because it's got a nice flavor, great for Summer For pizzas, we ordered a lamb and chimichurri as well as the signature cart-Driver pizza with sausage and mozzarella. I like both of them and I like that they are not as heavy as some other sick and heavily sauce. Pizzas you might find elsewhere. Their pizzas achieved a nice balance My favorite part of the dish was actually the Bolognese pasta! It comes in a very small portion, but very well cooked with a beautiful presentation . This is something that I will definitely order again One thing that I really didn't like was that one hour and 45 minutes since we sat down at the table , the server already started rushing us out, saying that the next reservation for this table is coming up soon. Then the server kind of hovered around the table and looked at his watch as a passive aggressive sign. I understand that this is not the servers fault, but a decision made by the restaurant. However, it is very unpleasant to have someone constantly rush you while you are enjoying food and drinks with friends because they set their reservations close to each other and are so eager to flip the table!

Great spot in a cute neighborhood. Can choose from indoor and outdoor. We ordered the Daisy to share. You can also do toppings on half the pie! The pizza took awhile but because it's made fresh! It's pretty large. We were both stuffed eating half of the pie. Service was great!

Super good! I really liked the pizza. Came tonight on a Friday and it was packed but I didn't even have to wait 10 minutes to get sat. Only downside is that the tables are so small it's hard to eat with a lot of people but I get it. Definitely want to try the clam pizza next but I was afraid at first but once I tried my pizza I know that one will be good!!! The lemon ricotta one 9/10 so good I just need to add meat next time! Daisy 9/10 can't go wrong with a basic margarita pizza. Whatever hot sauce they have on the table is super good. I think adding hot honey would be amazing!

I'd go back if a friend really wanted to go and we could sit at the bar, otherwise I was unimpressed with my experience there. 1. The decor/vibes are elegant and classy, but the staff aggressively ask for IDs at the door like bouncers instead of just asking at the time of ordering like a nice bar. Also the paper towels in the bathroom are the cheapest I've ever seen, not matching the facade of the place. They also make you pour your own water, just not elevated service considering the elevated appearance of the place. 2. Someone in my group called ahead the previous week to ask about a reservation accommodating 7 people since they only have reservations for up to 6 available online. When other people in the group arrived, the hostess/waitress was very resistant to us explaining our phone reservation and made us stand there at the front door to discuss instead of just letting us sit in the very empty seating area. After a few minutes of this, they finally let us sit in the wide open area for "an hour" until their actual reservation 1:45 after our arrival. The seating areas were small, so it makes sense they don't offer reservations for 7+, but then their employee shouldn't have told us on the phone that it'd be okay. 3. We watched them turn away a group with a silent infant because it wasn't 21, which just seemed odd. At the end they did bring our group cute cava shots, but I don't feel like that made up for the unwelcoming attitude of the staff.

Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I'm a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don't mind paying a bit extra. It is a bit loud in there (we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation) but it is also a vinyl place so you would expect them to show off their music.

Everything is perfection from the delicious food, the outstanding service, and the beautiful decor. I know this sounds like hyperbole but dining here was an experience I'll never forget. Let's start with the food. Everything was perfection. Our favorite was the aguachile de erizo (scallops and uni). The Santa Barbara uni is to die for. I'm not even a fan of uni nor scallops but the dish was so good especially with the aguachile. Do not skip that dish especially if you like a little bit of spicy. The Tostada del Toro was next up. This is the dish that everyone gets here and for good reason. First off, look at all those chives. The tostada shell was amazing with a nice charred taste to it and the aged toro (aged 3-6 days) was so flavorful and melted in the mouth. The burrata con huitlacoche was the most unique burrata dish I have ever had. The combination of the toasted bread, savory burrata, sweet nut crunch, and the unique taste of huitlacoche (Mexican caviar) was so well-done and just all fit so well together. Last but not least, the tres leches. Hands down, the best dessert I have ever had. Not too sweet and just heavenly. Do not skip this. I'm pretty sure I said "wow" after every bite. Second, drinks. I love mezcal. If you are a fan of mezcal or tequila, this place is a must go. I was given a free birthday shot with a side of crickets (I hate bugs but try it, it's actually really good), orange, and wormsalt. We got the Stinger and Colada. I was warned that the Stinger is a love it or hate it drink. I personally enjoyed it but it is very in your face with the herbal taste. The Colada is much easier. Last but not least, the service. Jorge, the sous chef, deserves 6 stars alone. He really elevated our experience which was already great to next level. He took care of us professionally while also being very personable. I would highly recommend getting a seat at the chef's table if you can. If you are celebrating an occasion, trying to impress a date, or just want a phenomenal meal, I can't recommend Mezcaleria Alma enough. I'll be back soon!

The corn sour was interesting with the mezcal base and surprisingly worked. 7/10. Loved that the drinks were strong. Overall, a really solid Michelin experience with great vibes and standout bites.

I've been staying at home, but was out of some of the beer I wanted to use. I went out for another errand and happened to pass by Cask and Craft. Hmmm...this sounds interesting. Plus it's a local shop, and I'm all about supporting local, particularly during this time. I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I then explained from a distance that I was looking for a dark beer, preferably a stout. I was escorted to the back of the store and shown the fridge with all the dark beer. WOW! big selection. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout. When I brought up my 5 pack, the owner told me it was a great beer (one of his favorite dark beers) and that it was a solid choice. He was not wrong. This beer is awesome, and paired so well with my peanut butter cookie pairing. So good. I will definitely be back to Cask and Craft. Their shop is filled with all different types of wine, liquor, and beer. It's organized so nicely, and the shop itself has this comforting vibe when you walk in. I'm so appreciative of everything they are doing to keep customers safe and for the recommendations they give.

The store staff practices social distancing and makes sure all customers use fh sanitizer provided at the entrance. Awesome! Never ever shop and touch anything with unsanitized hands. Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.
