After sitting down and reviewing the menu, my friends decided on the frozen rosé, while I stuck with a Coke since I was driving. The soda hit the spot, but my friends found the frozen rosé a bit bitter and weren't fans. For starters, we highly recommend the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls. The sauces served with them tasted fresh and were packed with flavor. After appetizers, we ordered three pizzas and a Caesar salad. The restaurant got busier after we sat down, and our food took a little over 30 minutes to arrive. When the pizzas finally came out, they were absolutely worth the wait. They were visually appealing, and we couldn't wait to dive in. I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was so good. Our friends got the White Tiger pizza and added prosciutto, while my husband ordered the mushroom pizza with added sausage. It took us a few years to finally try Joy, but I can confidently say they make an awesome pizza in a relaxed, chill atmosphere.

This event had no cover charge. They have a wraparound bar with full service. No food. The energy level was high. A tequila sponsor, Cambio was offering free shots. I had a Negroni made with Cambio Tequila Blanco at a discounted price of $9. The regular price for a mezcal Negroni is $15. Very good. Indie 102.3 hosts also did short versions of the top 15 bands from 2025. A nice evening.

At the time they said it's something they're doing in partnership with the Denver Public Library (DPL) every other month on a Tuesday night. We saw an osbcure, older blaxploitation superhero film that was funny at times! Probably not intentionally, or was it? I have no idea! They DPL even had a card maker for you to get a new library card! And told me about Kanopy, an app I can sign up for with DPL and watch free movies at home! They also had some free magnets of the movie, which was pretty cool. The bar had a video game in there and I think they may have music sometimes, too. Wasn't able to confirm (I was watching a movie and getting my library card & magnet!).

One thing we didn't expect to find there is that they also have an escape room connected to the lounge, which makes the whole place even more unique. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. They also have an EXTREMELY long list of rums, agave, gin, brandy, etc. So you could have them make anything as complex and off the menu as you want. They also have food: shrimp, fries, lobster Rangoons, spam musubi, cucumber salad, Hawaiian Mac salad, Hawaiian rolls. So perfect bar/snack food to share. Service is perfect.
