Drink specials, including shots, and a shot ski, this feels like a local bar you would find in a warmer location. You order your drinks at the bar, then go sit wherever you like. It's nice to find somewhere in Denver, that has good alcohol (they're not serving Gordon's vodka), at very reasonable prices. Bartender was friendly, and mixes a good, stiff drink. This is a Florida themed dive bar in the middle of Denver, Colorado. Who knew this spot existed?! The interior is so kitschy. There's literally a boat inside that you can sit in with friends. The bar looks like it's inside a yacht, and has boat seats. There are life jackets you can put on to pretend that you're really on a boat. There are fake parents on the ceiling, seashells, mermaids, all kinds of tropical decor. The best part about this bar, is that there is a lot to do! There are multiple rooms with cornhole, pool, ping-pong, and foosball. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is a jukebox and virtual golf too. Drinks are cheap, and there are daily drink specials. I ordered a blueberry Moscow mule, and it was $6.50. This is a great place to come with friends for a casual night. One star? One word: Santino. I've never experienced a bartender who is so blatantly rude and obnoxious to patrons with a "no f*cks given" attitude in my entire life. Santino exudes an incredibly unwarranted cockiness about him, whilst dropping pitchers before filling them, fumbling over credit cards handed to him, and and his attitude towards people who disagree with him is very reminiscent of a certain dictator we are all too familiar with and hate. Horrible experience at the Dive Inn. Came for a beer before a concert at Levitt. Asked where the bathroom was (why it is hidden in a wall without obvious signs is beyond me) and was rudely told 'toward the back'. After asking a kitchen staff member found it, no big deal. An hour goes by, I step outside for some fresh air (was hot inside) and to take a 5 minute call. When I try to come back in, the 'bouncer' says I cannot come back in because I was 'causing an issue'. He turned to a waitress (that I never spoke to) and she said 'he asked where me where the bathroom was 2x'. Always a good time at Dive Inn. Being from the East Coast I love a nautical themed bar and Dive Inn is definitely that with a full boat anchored in the middle of the bar. And don't worry, they have safety at top of mind and have life jackets to offer you if you are taking a ride in the boat. (Maybe not during Covid times, but usually). Standard beers on tap, lots of well drink specials and who can miss the take out window inside! It used to be amazing chicken and I panicked when I saw it had been replaced by tacos but was relieved to see that that was only because they are opening a brick and mortar shop right next door- yay! I love the charm, brought to the space by the boat in the middle of the bar and a claw machine in the back where, with great skill, you may win a white claw. There is plenty of Outdoor seating. The drinks are cheap, my vodka soda was four dollars. The crowd was wonderful and seemed to range in age from mid 20s to mid 30s or older. As an Oklahoma State alum I can tell you this is the most energetic place to watch a game in the city. Probably is understood without saying but it is suuuper divey, as you'd likely suspect. There are a good number of OSU fans there on game day but it is not overly crowded as I thought it would be. The boat you can watch the game from is such a cool touch. Especially enjoy how large--I mean, huge, the TVs are. The prices are good and the tacos from the little Mexican place inside are killer.
