That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.

You can tell them your mood, your favorite band, or throw out something totally off the wall (like "green lightning")--and they'll craft something magical on the spot. I decided to take a nostalgic turn and asked for something inspired by an Orange Julius. What I got was a grown-up version of the classic, creamy and citrusy, powered by the unexpected kick of Singani 63 (a Bolivian brandy I didn't know I needed in my life). Totally nailed it. Super refreshing with just the right buzz. They've got a few small bites if the munchies kick in, and the selection of spirits, garnishes, and creativity behind the bar is seriously impressive. Think genie-in-a-bottle energy: whatever you crave, they bring it to life. Also... the view from this cozy, tucked-away spot? Not too shabby at all.

After listening to my preferences of alcohol and allergies, she asked if I wanted my cocktail to be spirit or citrus forward. Sign me up for spirit! She brought me a lovely concoction of tequila with several different bitters, giving the drink more depth and complexity. Space is limited so I highly recommend making a reservation. We had already eaten at their restaurant at the front but OK Yeah does serve hand rolls that I must try when I go back.

Found this location listed in the Michelin guide and thought... let's try it out? On the third story it's not your average restaurant set up... we were seated next to the kitchen where we got to see the magic! Johny was our waiter who was absolutely killing it! He and his whole staff were engaged, checking in, and even the chefs were bringing us our plates right to our table! Absolutely just one of the best experiences as we order the "Walk With Us" for 2. Walk with us: 5/5 Banchan style servings or tapas as I'm so used to... are ways of giving you the chefs vision of a story they want to paint with food. A taste so unique that I will say... only gets better as you keep going down this experience. Starters throughout the experience have so much flavor and textures that complement each other. The entrees... they get so much better.... Short rib Wagyu galbi that's so scrumptious and a Korean fried chicken that's crispy as can be with a perfectly cooked chicken through and through that's moist and just the perfect definition of a k-fried chicken! I would say my top 3 favorite bites would be: 1. Shaken rice 2. Oyster mushrooms 3. Entree meet: (chicken & beef) tied The chef who brought us the shaken rice explained the meaning behind the dish and what was in it... the back story is so wholesome and unique that it leaves you heartfelt and just happy to be sharing this experience. The oyster mushrooms have so much flavor... you would need to have them because. They mimic beef so well and they have been seasoned to perfection! Entrees.... Yes! They're that good! They will be a challenge to eat because everything else around you is also super good!!! The only thing I wish I would have tried would have been the milk rolls as they looked so good.... Also, he aware that there is a service charge for the walk with us as it is a full show and display of food. Think of it as a tip, but don't be scared to show them some extra love as it's well worth a star in my book. I hope they get one and I can come back and celebrate it! The venue was lively and everyone was so nice! 5/5 this is what you look for in an experience!

Their menu lets you know that they worked hard on your drink yesterday because they use technology that requires planning and uses custom refrigeration to serve cocktails at a perfect temperature and create dilution levels so they can do cool things to give you a balanced cocktail in a "matter of seconds." Always adventurous, I tried their Sour Cream & Onion Martini. Our server advised that I try a small sip first. I loved it. I can see why it would not be for everyone. The flavor notes were strong and intense but true to the name, so much so that it was like drinking a bag of Lay's Sour Cream & Onion potato chips. Yum! My next adventure for my palate was from the sour section, The Cherry Sour. Full of carbonated foam when first served, this cocktail was a nice and refreshing balance. Semi-precious provides a venue that is easy to nestle into, sip on some unique cocktails, and enjoy the company of friends.

WOW this place is tasty!…read more My fiancé and I didn't feel like cooking and recently moved to the area, so we decided to check this place out. We had driven by it many times and it has been on our list since moving. We quickly found a spot in their free parking lot behind the restaurant and walked in. We were seated immediately by a friendly server and quickly settled on our order. My fiancé got the Left on Red cocktail, which was tasty! We did expect it to have a spicy kick to it, just based on the ingredients, although it was not spicy. Nevertheless, it was tasty! We each ordered a burger, and a side of fries and broccolini. The sides were small portions, but the burgers were the main event. Wow, I can't remember the last time I had such a flavorful burger!! Seriously, do yourself a favor and get the Route 44. I was instantly sold on the prosciutto and fig mostarda combo and omg it did not disappoint. To top it all off, the restaurant was offering complementary soft serve at the end of your meal. I'm not an ice cream person, but my fiancé got their vanilla cone and said it was good. We will certainly be back!

For me, this is the biggest reason why I come here, even though I have to fight over an hour of traffic to get here. It's worth it to me. Unfortunately that geographical challenge means that I am not likely a regular for casual hang outs and happy hours. But location is very nice (just not for my personal convenience lol).
