I can't think of a better vibe in all the land. Great drinks & GREAT patio! The bartender gave my dad his kidney

Love this place! I thought it would be a typical beer taproom but it's got a good choice of beers along with a full bar and cool cocktail bar kind of vibe! Also lots of outdoor seating. Vibes were immaculate. read more

A fine stop with some friends. We popped in while waiting to go to a delayed show at The Oriental. My husband ordered both of us a double margarita, mine with salt, his without. The bartender was pleasant and conversational. I really enjoyed my drink. I am not one to normally get a mixed drink and if I do, it is usually in the margarita family. This was tasty and the dehydrated lime on top a nice touch. It was a mild evening so we sat outside at the bar. We sipped our beverages and watched the world go by for a bit. read more

Went on a Monday night, and it was pretty quiet. Had a couple of TVs on and people were lightly chatting. Felt a little small, but it was good for a casual hangout. Bartender was friendly to all of the customers, even when a handful of people (accidentally) stayed a little past close. The pumpkin beer and IPAs were also yummy! read more

A bar with purpose! I've never seen anything like the Wooden Token program at Berkeley Untapped that donates a portion of their sales to a charity of the patrons' choosing. So admirable! On top of that, we had amazing service with the friendliest bartender. They offer local CO brews and wine, and a full bar! The inside is small so I imagine it gets packed fast some nights. But the size added to the cozy, neighborhood feel! read more

Beautiful bar in the bustling neighborhood of Tennyson! The service was amazing, drinks were delicious (and strong!). They have a cool concept where you get to put your "token" into different bins to support different causes; I thought this was really unique :) They have some snacks which we didn't try but look yummy! read more

Such a great neighborhood bar on Tennyson Street. Specials are always changing with cute names and great drinks! Prices are well priced for their drinks. Not a beer place but good liquor selections! Staff is super friendly and attentive! Outside section looks like it's officially permanent and can't wait to sit out there during the spring and summer time!! read more

"Drink. Laugh. Give" I love a bar with a cause. For every drink you purchase, you get a wooden token to place in the charity of your choice - animal, environment, human. Berkeley Untapped tallies the tokens and donates to the cause with the most votes. They have one bartender with an excellent system. As people stood in line, she constantly reminded people to pull up the QR code menu and have their drink selections ready. They have rotating beers on tap and a fantastic selection of spirits. You can even get your beverage to go for an additional fee. They are dog friendly and have plenty of seating options on the patio or in their covered outdoor area called The Green Room. What a great little bar! read more

We stopped here for drinks before dinner - it was our first time, and such a cool taproom! It was quite small inside and the flow was a little cluttered i.e., the line to wait to order at the bar cuts right through the main center of the room so it feels a bit cluttered when the line is long. There was only one bartender behind the bar when we were there and boy was she efficient! I ended up getting the Alpen Gose beer (Telluride Brewing) and my husband ordered a Goliath Brewing beer but it kicked halfway through so the bartender gave him that one for free and he got to pick a new beer. We had the Denver Eat and Drink pass which got us a BOGO beer, so really we got three beers for the price of one! It was fun to sit at the window seats and people watch outside. I also really liked how we got "charity" coins for each drink purchase, and a portion of our drink goes to either a humanity/environment/animal non-profit of our choice (We put the coins in their buckets). Will definitely come back here for a drink! read more

Favorite bar of all time. My S/O and I come back here regularly. Love this bar, love the staff, love the ambiance...love it all!

Berkeley Untapped had some great cocktail options. I tried their electric hammer aka mezcal margarita. So so good! The inside is an interesting mix of cabin vibes and random artwork. And the bartender was nice but kept going in the back room which felt a bit odd. Pro tip: the entrance is to the left of the outdoor patio. It was a bit hard to find at first. read more

Not so family friendly. Read on to learn why.. Saturday January 14th at 11:30 am I had an unusual experience that my family felt uncomfortable and think other families should be aware. A female bartender stepped outside and shared that moms get 15% off drinks. That we love Mimosas. Intrigued and ready to try a drink, I stopped to chat. She continues to shout if you have dogs you get I 15% off. I asked about babies and her response out loud to a huge crowd... fuck babies. The people surrounding her all cheered. For a location that should be friendly, it was clear this location is hostile towards children. I hope that staff will learn from this experience and have grace towards people from all walks off life. read more

There are many reasons to love this place and I'm going to tell you why. 1. 7% cash back when you claim the Yelp offer to Berkeley Untapped. As long as you have your credit card linked on Yelp and make a purchase here, you'll automatically receive dat free money back into your account. 2. For every sale, Berkeley Untapped gives its patrons the option to drop a chip into a bucket, which they will donate a portion of their sales to said charity. I've never seen this at a business, let alone a bar. How cool! 3. The beers on tap and the whiskeys on hand make for some of the best in the city. Local beers from all around Colorado and a crazy awesome booze selection make this place an undeniable winner. The bartenders are relaxed and knowledgeable, while the space is small and cozy. Do not walk by this Tennyson gem! read more

I loveeee this little place. Its cute from the way the bar is set up to the ambiance and seating. There are games to play and you get wooden tokens to help out various charities in the area. My biggest struggle about going here is that the beer is pricy and it always seems as though they have just run out of what I was really wanting. Who wants to pay $7 for a beer that is their second choice? read more

Love this Berkeley neighborhood concept! It's cozy, warm and inviting, and they have great beers on tap. And to top it all off, for each beer/drink you purchase, you get a token that you can use to vote for 1 of 3 charities on the back wall. $0.25 of each purchase goes to the charity of your choice... so you can drink your beer, and feel good about it too :) They have a nice little patio too that your dog is welcome to join you on, which is plus! We will definitely be back! read more

This is one of those joints that I've actually found myself hanging out at way more post-COVID. The expansion of the seating area out into the street on Tennyson has resulted in one of the best places to chill in the neighborhood, and I'm finding myself drawn here weekly to have one of their delicious beers on tap, relax in the sun, and people-watch with friends. They don't serve food here, but they encourage you to bring outside offerings. There is certainly no shortage of places to grab food to go on Tennyson: Fat Sully's Pizza is about 50 feet away for a quick, sizeable slice o' pie, or Post Oak BBQ, Pasty Republic, Vital Root... the point is, there is food to be had close by. In addition to a well-curated selection of beers on tap, they also serve wine and have a full bar. I have yet to do it myself, but grabbing cocktails to go while walking down Tennyson seems to be a popular thing to do. The bar staff is friendly and efficient - on the few occasions I have seen a line more than 3 deep here, it goes pretty quick. They also have a bathroom inside for customers (properly masked up, of course). I'm hopeful that some outdoor heaters will materialize over the next weeks to solidify this spot as a year-round hangout. read more

I love this venue, but too many times I've seen the brunette female bartender awkwardly, and loudly, ask someone who is checking out "what percentage of tip do you want to leave?" It's so cringy, and it makes me not want to come back. I don't know why the system doesn't allow somebody to privately leave their own tap, or why she has to shout this loudly in front of everyone, as if to bully the payee into leaving extra tip. In any event, it's incredibly awkward each and every time she does it. Please stop making patrons cringe so you can make a better tip! read more

Such an awesome little bar. Cozy with a nice outdoor space. Local beers and wines on tap, and a huge whiskey selection. Kombucha cocktails also looked amazing. What really makes this place special though is how they donate $.25 from each beer to a local nonprofit! Berkeley Untapped - The donation wall - Beer Bar Near Me - Denver, Colorado

We were looking for a nearby place to sit inside while we waited an hour for seats at Denver Biscuit, and we didn't have to go far. This place was next door and the bartender was out on the patio when we passed and invited us to have a drink and assured us there was plenty of room to sit inside. I ordered a mimosa and the bartender asked "regular or lavender pineapple?" LAVENDER PINEAPPLE! I did not see that on the menu, but I totally went for it. It was a bit more expensive ($12) but I was on vacation. The drink was superb, and strong. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. One of my friends got an NA IPA that was so good, I don't think I would've ever known it was NA. Anyway, Berkeley Untapped made our wait for brunch super enjoyable. No loud music, so we were able to chat and catch up with old friends, which I appreciate. read more

Love this bar! Located right on Tennyson street, they are so in touch with the neighborhood and people - from promoting local artist and bands to sporting event viewings, they are always offering a fun and relaxed place to meet with friends and try new and interesting drinks! I recently tried the CBD tea/vodka drink as well as a blueberry vodka lemonade that were both delicious and refreshing. With indoor and outdoor seating as well as drinks to go, Berkeley Untapped offers a great vibe and a wide selection of delicious drinks! read more

Have had two great experiences here thus far and I will be returning... Scotch and whiskey drinkers there's lots of options for you. Great craft beer selections on tap. Some nice wines by the bottle and glass as well. We were looking for a celebratory rose and even found one on the menu! Love, love, love that $0.25 of every drink goes to a charity. They give you wooden coins for each drink purchase and on their wall you can pick from an environmental charity, an animal charity or a humanitarian charity. What DON'T I love about this place? The best part of this place is that proceeds of your purchase go to a non-profit. Second favorite thing? I can order kombucha. I don't drink alcohol and Berkeley Untapped offers Happy Leaf! read more

As much potential as this place had I was underwhelmed. Possibly because the bartender was rude to us off the bar, but it was small and crowded. The one upside was the gluten free beer selection. Berkeley Untapped has a wonderful selection of cocktails, beers and wine to choose from. They offer a daily happy hour from 4-6p most days. They are one of those classic, very welcoming, neighborhood bars with indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Berkeley Untapped is rad! I think this is my favorite bar on Tennyson Street. They have an ever rotating selection of craft beer on draft from lots of smaller local breweries like Strange and Black Shirt. There is also a selection of bombers available. Whiskey is their other big focus. I'm not a whiskey drinker but if you are I'm sure you'll enjoy their selection! They've also got gin and vodka available if that's what blows your skirt up. But what really makes Berkeley Untapped awesome (besides their wonderful array of local alcohol), is that they donate 25 cents of each drink purchased to charity. They have a wall up in the bar with information about 3 different charities: one animal related, one environmental, one humanitarian. The charities change every couple months. When you've receive your drink, they also hand you a little wooden token (representing $.25) that you can then drop in the basket for the charity of your choosing. They don't stay open as late as some of the other bars (they close at midnight on the weekends) on Tennyson, but this is the perfect place to come with a couple friends to enjoy a couple drinks and get your night started. read more

Berkeley Untapped is a great spot to hang out with friends and catch up. They have a good selection of beers on tap as well as several whiskeys, so you can choose whatever suits your mood (pretty sure they have wine too). I went during the day, so it was a bit slower, but the guys working there were knowledgeable and friendly. One of the bartenders took the time to suggest different breweries and spots to check out since my friends and I are new to the area. They don't really have food at the moment, but we were told that we could bring in food from elsewhere, so I'm sure we'll end up doing that. And to top it off, every time you order a beer, they give you a token that you can use to donate a portion of the sale (I think it's 25 cents) to one of three charities. They have info about the charities and a running total of how much each has earned on a board in the corner of the space. If nothing else, it will make you feel good about ordering your beer at one in the afternoon! read more

i went in here with a friend and had myself a pretty good time. It was chill and not too packed with an small area where you can sit outside if you wish. The best part of this place is the revolving beer list. The beer that, and actually whiskey is most local places in Denver, one of my favorite small time breweries is Strange. Recommend that you stop by and take a look what is on tap because in the next week or two there will be something new and local. read more

What a great find, we'd eaten dinner at Atomic Cowboy next door on a Sunday nite and just popped in for a drink and check it out. Great friendly owner behind the bar, and it's already been said that he has a cool friendly place with good beers and great choices in the hard stuff. Really respect the charity thing he does, I've never seen that before - major kudos! Oh and great taste in music, we were enjoying some classic James Brown while there, that's a first. Nice little patio, I bet this is a fun spot on warm summer nights. I'll be finding out soon. We'll be back. read more

I don't get out in the Tennyson/Highlands very much..but this bar was a pretty fun spot on a random weeknight. They had some solid beers on tap and the bartender was really cool. I also LOVE how a portion of every drink sale goes to a charity you get to choose - animals, environment, or humans. read more

We used to come here when it was an art and wine bar, and have not been since they switched to being a tap house. But every First Friday we would see they were packed, so when my wife went to visit a friend in California (she does not like beer), I went by myself to see what was up. I was not hungry and "only" had a beer, so there is very little to report, except that it is comfortable with a pleasant clientele, a great people watching street side bar, and that they have the most amazing local IPA, Green Mountain's Kama Citra. That's enough, right? read more
