Was heading to Yogi Exchange when I passed by this place as the door grabbed my attention. We went around 3 pm on Saturday and there was only one other party. We were very impressed by the ambiance as it was well decorated but noticed limited seating as they are mostly big sofa chairs and some high tops. It is also a bit dimly lite so when we left we were surprised it was very sunny out. We were greeted and served right away- cocktails prices range from $14- $20 and up. There was also beers and wine in the menu. We brought card games with us which made our experience better. We stayed for a bit and upon asking for our tab our check came right away- no issues closing out. It is a cool spot to stop by when walking down Tennyson during first Fridays as well as making a day and starting by grabbing a bagel at Call Your Mother, grabbing a drink before heading to Yogi Exchange and SecondLove to do some shopping after a couple of cocktails! read more

We popped in here on a Saturday evening recently and got the charcuterie board and espresso martinis. Everything was delicious, the staff was super nice and helpful (even made a special decaf espresso martini for my friend), and the decor was very cute - a kind of fancy cozy vibe. Stopped in for a few drinks on Friday evening. The owner and bartender were quick to help us find seating. It did seem like making a reservation would be a smart move for any group larger than 2. We showed up around 5pm on a Friday and it was already getting crowded! My friend said her whiskey sour was one of the best she's ever had! I got the Tempranillo and it was lovely. We split the small charcuterie - they had Spanish cheese and meats and it sounded like they change things up on that front! Can't wait to be back. read more

Wanted to try out this new cocktail lounge on Tennyson before dinner last night. Although the staff was attentive, the bar was very loud and that made it difficult to have an intimate conversation with my date. The cocktails offered also did not seem to be anything special; we were expecting some more sultry-inspired and surprising drinks given the theme. Our drinks were average. Maybe it was the time of day we went in (early evening) but the drinks and more loud crowd did not seem to match the lounge setting I think the bar is going for. Hopefully they can create their special mark in the Tennyson cocktail and bar scene. read more

What a fantastic addition to Tennyson! The owner immediately greeted us as we poked our heads in, wondering what it was. Decor is awesome!! It's subtly swanky, and the music is loud enough to be the perfect volume. Nice sized menu for what the place is; can't wait to go back and try a craft cocktail! (I went with a glass of red) They also have wonderful looking charcuterie board choices as well. The couches are appropriately appointed and extremely comfy :) Love this place! Update: I ate brunch here twice now. With friends we had all of the boards. Plenty of food that was all delicious! I had especially liked the shakshouka, which was a huge surprise because I didn't think I like peppers in any format. Second brunch visit: They expanded the menu to include some egg benedicts and solo items. I liked the shakshouka so much that I ordered it as a solo item, and because I have trouble deciding I had the salmon benedict, too. Not kidding when I say it was the most delicious hollandaise sauce I have ever had. It didn't over take the dish but added a perfectly complementary flavor. There had to be some secret ingredient that gave it that deliciousness. (My mouth is watering...). I could go on but I think you get my point. Original post: Love this place! Top Tenn recently opened so the menu is very limited - charcuterie board and veggie board. However the charcuterie board was really good! We just had to ask for more crackers because there were lots of spreadables and not enough crackers! My friend and I shared the $25 board and it was perfect for 2. There was also a bigger $45 option which would be perfect for more than 2 people! I really enjoyed the espresso martini and the service was friendly and attentive. We sat at a table with stools near the door and I look forward to going back and trying one of the comfy leather couches! read more

I came in here once in the fall and then this past weekend, it's an adorable spot but their cocktails need some work. Had an espresso martini and coin margarita and they were both super disappointing. I requested one of their house cocktails and the guy said "it's super sweet" so I asked if it could be made less sweet and that's what prompted the coin margarita. I had a male bartender wearing a 20s style peaky blinders vibe hat and he was kinda rude too. My friend asked for a Mock-tail and he said "you do realize that's a mock-tail" when it's clearly in the mock-tail section of their menu. Lots of potential for this spot tho with location and the cute decor inside. read more

First time in. Staff was nice and greeted us right away, service was attentive and polite. Unfortunately a couple of complaints: -Extremely loud, we were there on the earlier side with maybe a handful of other tables and about half the bar was full. Had to raise our voices to have a conversation. -The cocktails were watered down and just kind of meh. Given the location and prices, it was dive bar quality at cocktail bar prices. We went home after and I made myself a Negroni that was 10x better. -The place has a cool outside decor, but that's about it. Inside is cheap and thrown together. -Very much a "my friends come to drink here" vibe from management. One of the owners/managers spent most of their time chatting with friends seated at the bar.
