But, if you're looking for a good old American lager, there are several standbys available. And, top shelf liquors might be of a limited nature, but if you're looking for a decent booze at a reasonable price there are plenty of options. To me the Squeeze is a magical unicorn. It is a neighborhood bar. It is a frequent stop on the motorcycle aficionado circuit, albeit I find these people to be some of the nicest people you ever care to have a drink with. There's also a goodly amount of people who have been coming to this place for decades, people who remember when this was more the northside and less what it currently is. Popcorn is free. Sometimes other snacks are available. They like to offer free hotdogs and brats on Wednesday evenings, when the weather is cooperating. The bar staff and owners are uniformly friendly. And yep, you may have guessed it from the name, it's a small place, and it is a bit of a squeeze to get from the front to the back or even to get a normal sized man's shoulders through the door to the men's room. And the patio is more functional than fancy. However, they are also very dog friendly (which is always a plus for me). And I'm very glad that they are here.
