Embarrassed that I live down the street and JUST noticed this place being open. We stopped by because I stop by ALL bars with an adjective animal in the name, and although this won't qualify for people with that standard, I will allow this compound word with a very questionable adjective alluded to. ANYWAY, this place is simple and to the point, but the energy in here is great. The bar is classy, they have the recent version of Buck Hunter, and my only mild complaint might be that I wish they would have squeezed in a pool table. But, I digress. Kristen was great behind the bar. Place was empty when we came in, and about 20 people came in within ten minutes and she didn't even blink. Extremely efficient. We will definitely be making excuses to stop by here more. I know how to spell Kristen's name because when she asked the spelling, she said "I am a ten not a tin." I had to think about what my response would be with a K or a C. So, my response to you Kristen, after a few seconds of thought, is that "I am an Apostle and not a trend." I will work on a more definitive and permanent answer for our next drop-in. Plus, you can pretend like you are going to Ace for house stuff (see across the street), and come back a little happier to do the work. Definitely recommend, and see you there.

Kasey and Ryan are gems! Such a busy night around the holidays, and they took care of not only my entire party, but everyone else at the bar. Great job, guys. Drinks were tasty, too.

Amazing new bar has come to the Northside! Clean, fresh and great ambiance. Friendly Staff, check it out soon. They have non-alcoholic beer for your sober friends as well. Just a great bar, no kitchen, just a great meeting spot.

Insanely rude staff with zero empathy. Friend made an honest mistake asking about a drink and the bartender was an asshole

After its namesake, there are plenty of goat decor items (taxidermy and paintings) adorning the walls of this bar.

Their focus is on unique, hand-crafted cocktails and globally inspired bites. Named for its elevation of 5,430 feet, 54thirty Rooftop Bar in Denver is at a whole new level. After 6pm, entry is restricted to guests 21 and over. The rooftop views are amazing, it is a great spot to relax, especially around sunset. The vibe is lively but still comfortable enough to enjoy a conversation. There is plenty of seating but it was crowded when we arrived but we were able to find some seats close to a fire pit to stay warm. They offer a menu of shareable bites with a global spin. We ordered the chips and guacamole made with avocado and fresh made tortilla chips. We split the braised short rib tacos with avocado, cojita and radish that came with three tacos per order. The steak tacos were very tender and plentiful with toppings. We also tried a variety of cocktails from their bar. Their winter drink menu that highlights warm and spiced cocktails, a curated wine bottle list, and a spectrum of Denver's favorite craft beers. I tried the mezcal hot chocolate that was served with toasted marshmallows on top. Also tried a peach mocktail and asked them to add mezcal. Both cocktails were elevated and hand crafted. Other people in my party tried the Elevated Old Fashioned with Brush creek strait bourbon, angostura amaro, dry curacao, honey. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly. It's a great spot for drinks with a view, light bites, or for a fun night on the town.

Both my girlfriend and I asked him multiple times to stop, but he continued anyway. After it became clear that he wasn't going to respect our boundaries, I raised my voice (not yelling, just firm) and asked that he stop serving us and that another bartender take over due to his aggressive and inappropriate sexual behavior. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he immediately told both of us to leave the bar. This was an incredibly uncomfortable situation to deal with, especially on New Year's Eve, and it left us feeling embarrassed and disrespected. The first thing my girlfriend said to me the next morning was how uncomfortable that bartender had made her feel, which says a lot. I truly wish we had never gone to this bar. No one should feel pressured, sexualized, or thrown out for speaking up when their boundaries are repeatedly ignored.

And yes... every drink is only $5 but heads up, it's cash only. The prices were so good we ended up staying for three drinks each and didn't even feel guilty about it. My husband and our friends ordered The Continental, a black cherry Old Fashioned, and it was absolutely delicious ,smooth, balanced, and full of flavor (I definitely stole a few sips). I went with a vodka pineapple and later a cranberry vodka, both refreshing and perfect. We loved the place so much that the guys even bought merch $10 t-shirts, which honestly felt just as affordable as the drinks. Amazing drinks, unbeatable prices, fun speakeasy vibes, and great memories. We'll 100% be back.

Atmosphere: The theme here is so cool! It's all about Abraham Lincoln but with a modern, artistic twist. There's really neat artwork everywhere showing different looks of Lincoln. It feels like a true old timey speakeasy. It gets very busy after 8 PM, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but the energy inside is awesome. Price: This is the most budget-friendly spot I've found in the area. Almost everything is $5! It is CASH ONLY, but don't worry if you forget. They have an ATM inside for you to use. Drink: I ordered the Continental, which is their take on an Old Fashioned with a black cherry. It was delicious and definitely didn't taste like a cheap drink despite the price point. Service: Despite how packed it was, the service was incredibly fast. We got our drinks in maybe 2-3 minutes tops. The staff is efficient and friendly. Overall Experience: Whether you're visiting and staying near Union Station or just looking for a fun local getaway, I highly recommend this place. We walked from our hotel, but if you drive, be prepared to look for street parking or a garage. It's fun, cheap, and has great theme nights. I'll definitely be back!
