As a kid, I used to sell golf balls here and Mitch (the GM) would always chase me off the course in his golf cart. Mitch was relentless in his pursuit and would pocket any cash he could get off you. Over time, it became more fun to set up fake stands and watch Mitch get crazy & run them down in his golf cart. Still though.... 10/10 would sell balls here again

They were doing some maintenance so the driving range was closed and the tee boxes were just aerated. It had a nice mixture of challenges of sand, water, and wavy greens. Greens were in pretty good shape. The forward tees were 4900 yards which is a little shorter than usual but still a good distance. We took a cart but our golf partner walked and there were many walking. It's not a bad course to get your steps, not super hilly and not a huge distance between holes. Staff was great. We had lost an item 'somewhere on the back nine' and a ranger took my husband back out on the course and they found the item. Very helpful.

I never write reviews, and it takes an awful lot for me to write a negative one. We checked into…read morethe pro shop 5 minutes before our tee time. Construction in Boulder was insane, our bad, but we were clearly hurrying. Older guy in the pro shop immediately began berating us for being late, repeatedly telling us to "get moving" even though we were hustling. All that said, we still teed off right on time. We played at the pace of the group in front of us, had to wait a little for them at each box, not a big deal to us at all. As we walked away from teeing off on the 10th after the turn with a little room between us and the group in front that we would easily catch up to, he chased after us yelling "pace of play!". I played this course many years ago and this will be the last time. Much better courses in the area without the condescending attitude. Brother, this is my one day off, all you have to do is not be jerk. Whoever the older man is in the pro shop, he ruined it for our group to play here again. If you read other comments this seems to be a theme.

Tried Saddleback golf course and it was fine…read more For the round with cart it was $98 which is not inexpensive. It does come with access to the driving range and putting green. The course was challenging and we were paired with a nice father/son duo. I had some good shots and many stinkers. They have water stations off of three holes and a beverage/snack woman sitting at one of them. There is a good sized parking lot that was fairly full when we left around 5pm. Three stars for two reasons. First when my friend and I walked in to check in for our round the employee made a stupid comment that was just unnecessary. Second after my driver broke a second employee didn't seem to know anything about the demo clubs Saddleback rents out. As a newer golfer I expect the employee to know something if I'm going to spend more money on a demo. If I lived closer to Firestone I might consider coming back. Too many other courses to try with subpar customer service at Saddleback.

Nobody told me the greens were punched yesterday when I made my tee ti.e there was no mention of this. There was no reduction in the greens fee, I paid full price. I do t know who is running this place but, to not mention the greens were punched yesterday a d charge full price, prime rates is ludicrous. I asked the pro shop if I could get a rain-check and was denied with much attitude. Unfortunately I can not recommend this course to anyone wanting play. I feel cheated a d deceived, will not return. Context: I had an errant golf shot hit someone's window (unfortunate but happens on golf courses) My playing partner gave the homeowners his phone number to contact and pay back for the damages -- should be the end of the story right here. The homeowners called the pro shop and the pro shop decided it would be okay for them to give out my full name, number, and email used to book. Might as well give them my SSN and credit card # while they are at it. While I am planning to pay for the damages, despite no legal obligation to do so, the course giving out customer information without consent is a complete breach of customer privacy. Just thought everyone should be aware of how they treat customers and handle their information
