I am a 69 year old male with the usual assortment of middle aged maladies. I had only been on a golf course 4 previous times in my entire life. After five lessons with Scott I am hitting all of the clubs in my bag with consistency and distance. I can consistently hit my driver off the tee in the fairway 200 to 230 yards. I can consistently chip and hit my wedge out of a bunker. Everyone tells me my swing looks great. I am especially confident in my irons. I feel confident when I hit balls on the driving range. No one believes I just started less than two weeks ago. Including me. I don't know where this guy came from but I know where he is going. As a matter of fact, I had my best year of golf with our men's club so, my time with AJ paid off. I had little problem getting a bay to hit because I was using the facility in the mornings. I had problems with the electronics that we were using. I couldn't get it to sync with my phone or to display. The two bays that were available didn't always have both bays working. I could go on, but in summary, I really liked AJ, his teaching and the system in General. Wish I could give it a better review, and maybe it has things (the Bays) working better, as I haven't been there in many months. It is worth the time to visit and see for yourself if things are to your liking.

This is a great, relatively short par 3 nine hole course. I knew it was in there. I have driven…read morepassed the road to get to it 100+ times. Never tried it - until this morning. My kiddo just turned six and has been golfing for years now. I decided it was time to let him play a 'real adult course' after playing exclusively the First Tee par 3 courses around town. So first things first - the pro shop is out back of the building and a tiny bit tricky to locate the first time around. There's a bag drop out front, but doesn't need to be there. Just take your clubs straight back. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly. There is a discount for Junior golfers, but no such deal for veterans. All in all it was $25 to play (total for two of us) and we were able to tee off on time. The course is is great condition, and it is clear that they have a staff that cares about presentation and course management. The winding lake in the middle only brings water into play on a couple of the holes. The rest are pretty straight shots, and nothing is out of reach for most golfers. I think the longest was just short of 200 yards. We had a great day, and even though we had to wait at a number of tee boxes, the whole round only took aboutj 90 minutes. There is a very fun looking restaurant right as you step off the ninth green that we definitely want to try at some point, but it was a work day, so raincheck on that one. All in all, great experience.
