    Had a great morning of golf. The course has a few areas that are a bit run down and need some TLC but for a beginner the price was perfect and the par 3 was a nice and easygoing course to play. Brunch was very decently priced and we enjoyed our time on the patio! Had the avocado toast and would probably order again or the smothered burrito which looked great.

    UPDATE! A lot has changed since my last review. Seriously. ++ Pricing has dropped and is $12/person - their website features a discounted price for residents and guests. ++ Clubhouse is brand spanking new! Totally renovated, modern furniture, killer views of the course and plenty of seating! ++ Restaurant now open! ++ Greens are better marked and no longer under construction, allowing all holes to be played! With the newest improvements to this course (and the location being close to home!), I know we'll be back!

    Good morning, I've…read morebeen looking forward to getting a full bag fit at club champion for a long time. I have to tell you that I was really disappointed with my fitting. Here are my take away from the appointment. he was 5 minutes late because he had to go smoke a cigareette. I scheduled a 3 hour full bag fit and it was probably close to 2 hours and it focused almost entirely on my mid irons. The fit seemed incredibly subjective. No measurements or comments on shaft length. Grip size was brought up by me. He compared my hand to his and said "maybe midsize?" ?? No mention of lie or loft on my clubs. I hit 4 shots with my driver. He said I should keep it as is. 4 shots? Did almost nothing on my wedges. He adjusted my putter but I'm really curious now if my putter needs readjustment given the rushed appointment. The comments during the appointment seemed rehearsed and inauthentic. It felt like a two hour timeshare sales pitch to buy irons. It was clear he wanted to sell me a set of irons from the moment we met. Basically a $400 2 hour sales pitch after hitting a 6 iron. What's sad is that I wanted to buy some woods but he didn't even look at my fairway woods. Super disappointed. I was expecting an elite professional experience. It was anything but.

He took the time to listen to my concerns about my right foot, explained the process, and made precise adjustments until the fit was just right. I learned a lot about my boots just from chatting with him--he's professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his customers. Service like this really stands out. My husband bought the poles last weekend, without me present, and of course he no longer had the receipt, as husbands are wont to do. I figured they have our purchases on file so I went in for the exchange. One staffer was super helpful, quickly grabbing a new set of poles in the size we needed. Unfortunately when the redhead went to do the exchange, she accused me of returning used poles because the rubber on the handles was slightly scuffed--I said no, they were just purchased last weekend and the tag is still on (with the snow was bad as it's been this year, we've hardly been up at all!). I said--that must be how you sell them, because you can see this new set I was just handed was also scuffed up on the handle. Of course after that she found the order (under my phone number not my husband's) but it feels pretty crappy to be accused of something when you're just a loyal customer trying to get the right size gear for your child. I have to say, I'll think twice before visiting this Park Meadows location again. Maybe Aurora will be better.
