    The snack and beverage shop.

The Green Valley Ranch Golf Club was hosting the Men's Championship; so the driving range was closed to the public. We ventured a little further west on I-70 (then about 7 minutes North on Airport) to Springhill Golf Course. Here's the highlights: + They don't have a dress code, so if you wear jeans and forget your collared shirt don't worry! + At $4.50 a token (small bucket) the cost is a steal! Ball tokens never expire, so if you grab one to many you can always save it for next time. + They have Snack Shop/Hut and the prices seemed super decent! They offer $5 Bloody Marys' and Screwdrivers' too!! Score! +/- The driving range was decent. Seemed like it could use a little more attention. - The location is kinda tough. I would've never known it was there had it not been for my BF. - Seems like when a dress code is lax, so are your fellow golfers' basic "courtesys". This won't be your most peaceful/quiet range depending on the patrons' using it. I'm glad we mixed it up and tried a new range. I look forward to adding it into the rotation this summer and hopefully getting out on the course!!

The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to ensure that everything is explained and you are set up to have a good time. It was very busy the night we went, but that wasn't an issue since you reserve your space ahead of time. We did both axe throwing and a bay rental for an hour. Renting a golf bay is incredibly cost effective since the cost does not change based on how many people you have (you can have up to 8). And even though I called it a golf bay there are TONS of options to play. The food and drinks (which you can order through a QR code) are also great. We had some wings and they were delicious. TL:DR - an awesome option for a night out with built in activities

The vibes are immaculate. Decorated well, spacious - it's inside an old hangar, naturally - with plenty of room inside each of their MANY bays to hang out with friends and family and get some golf in. Their sim prices are a little more expensive than others, but you're getting an upgraded premium experience for it. Everything's new and in great shape, the bays are sizable and very comfortable, and the service is excellent. We were helped by two different servers and they were extremely attentive making sure we had everything we needed without being in the way or overbearing. Food and cocktails are a little spendy, but that's everything these days. The transfusion was delicious, better than any on-course transfusion. The buckets of high noon seltzers kept us lubed for swinging golf clubs. The flatbread pizzas and chips and queso were quite tasty and I wouldn't hesitate to get any of them again. Genuinely, this place is absolutely phenomenal and I cannot wait to go back. This is hands down the best golf simulator establishment I have ever been to and it's not even close. The Hangar Club is amazing.

I'm certain the virtual golf is nice because it seems popular at times. What needs to be addressed (first) is the menu - cold dips served that should be hot, canned jalapeños on Greek salads but no jalapeño on the nachos? But then PICKLED ONIONS on the nachos? Gross. The flatbreads are more crust than toppings (believe me we have tried it all!). The grilled cheese and tomato soup are great. Good cocktails. But they need somebody to come in and RESET that menu and the weird ingredients thrown on to things. The service is quick in my experiences but not so for my neighbors and it's like the ladies who work there ALWAYS seem like they HATE working there. No personality, no knowledge of the menu, always on cell phones. It is odd. Like zombies. And there seems like a lot of wasted space (not an issue for me). That said, our entire block will continue to walk over for grilled cheese and cocktails. Would love to see some menu upgrades and a veggie burger and just a touch more enthusiasm.

Greens were medium in terms of speed but very smooth. Fairways were great and the rough was thick. This is my favorite flat course I have played. Tom Doak is an amazing golf course architect, and this is by far the cheapest course designed by him you'll find. Greens are wild. So many reveals when you get closer or go over a ridge. Number 3 is a great par 5 with a center line bunker that messes with your layup choices, and the punchbowl green is sweet. A couple of people I played with pulled their shots left and had some really tough chips coming in. Number 10 is a short par 4 that I would play differently next time. Very wide open on the left, more that you would think. Better angle into that green where trees guards the right side. I would not hit driver and go left, leaving a flip wedge in. Hole 11, a par 5, is my favorite. Didn't hit it well off the tee and ended up in that big cross bunker. Big mound short right of the green both kicks golf balls towards the middle of the green or propels balls over the right side of the green. Water is all up the left side is the hole. Great design. Absolute brutes from hole 14 to the finish. Fun track I'll try and play every time I'm in town. Very hard to get tee times, even during the week as a single. Driving range is huge and off grass. I think I saw three chipping greens and a big putting green. Plenty of areas to practice. Great course for a push cart.

Driving range was on grass but was mostly dirt by my 2pm tee time. Food was pricey and meh, and takeout service was incredibly slow. Nice starter and no pace of play issues. I hadn't played a pitch and putt in a long, long time, and with barely any equipment required to play, this was definitely worth a visit. Only $1 per club rental, we each chose 1 club and 1 putter. Lots to choose from, so it took us some time to choose carefully. The 1 club + putter challenge we had made for a real fun round of golf, added a layer of thinking to a fun round. The golf was great. Super casual. We came mid day on a weekday, so it was not busy. We were allowed to bring some beverages (went to nearby Denver Brew Co), and had a lot of fun. Greens are surprisingly fast, especially downhill. Bunkers had legit sand, and there is even the threat of water. We bought a 6 pack of balls in the pro shop cuz they were only $5 (only needed one each), and bought a divot repair tool ($1) because we were planning on raining golf balls on all the greens. Lol. We had so much fun, we played a second 9. Joined up this time with a third, and he was a super fun hang. Good golfer too. All tee shots are off mats, which is expected. Wasn't a problem for us. It wasn't super busy, but pitch and putt is going to attract all manner of skill levels. We had a lot of time to kill, so we were prepared to wait and chill at each hole (back in the day I'd go to places where we could be 10-15 people deep at each tee box), but it moved fast today. That said, when we were leaving, we saw a group of 4 and 5, and most looked like beginners. I have another day in Denver, we may try and play another round. If not during this trip, then for sure the next time I come. Great fun!

My kiddo just turned six and has been golfing for years now. I decided it was time to let him play a 'real adult course' after playing exclusively the First Tee par 3 courses around town. So first things first - the pro shop is out back of the building and a tiny bit tricky to locate the first time around. There's a bag drop out front, but doesn't need to be there. Just take your clubs straight back. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly. There is a discount for Junior golfers, but no such deal for veterans. All in all it was $25 to play (total for two of us) and we were able to tee off on time. The course is is great condition, and it is clear that they have a staff that cares about presentation and course management. The winding lake in the middle only brings water into play on a couple of the holes. The rest are pretty straight shots, and nothing is out of reach for most golfers. I think the longest was just short of 200 yards. We had a great day, and even though we had to wait at a number of tee boxes, the whole round only took aboutj 90 minutes. There is a very fun looking restaurant right as you step off the ninth green that we definitely want to try at some point, but it was a work day, so raincheck on that one. All in all, great experience.
