The space is well designed and the resin tables at the bar are super cool! Love the vibe here and you can bring in outside food. I'm sorry but their Trackman simulators are SHIT!!! DO NOT waste your money doing anything with this place. Had the most insane ball flights I've ever seen on a sim. Ball would be 3/4 of the way through its flight and all of a sudden CHANGE direction lol. Most unrealistic I've ever come across. Had a great experience here! The folks that work there are super nice, the drinks and bay rentals are reasonable, and they are nicer than many of the other similar places I've gone to in Denver. This was my first time visiting The Local Drive and I was blown away! I had a great time hitting the "Virtual Links" lol with a few friends. When I stepped into the bar I was really impressed by the stylish modern looks. It's really well designed and I felt like I was in a upscale cocktail bar that happened to have huge golf simulators! After checking out the menu we ended up ordering a She's gone & Old Cuban both drinks were delicious! The Shes gone was really unique a mix of Rye, ginger liqueur, red wine, honey and lemon. I had to slow myself down multiple times from drinking it to fast because it was so refreshing! Having been blown away by the prices of craft cocktails in other RINO bars I was really happy with the affordable prices here, I easily got my moneys worth! I could definitely see myself coming back here to just hang out and catch a game on one of the half dozen big screen TVs they have. Now to the really fun part! Those massive golf simulators! We played on a huge 16x9 foot screen! The clarity of the screen was impressive and the technology is top notch, during the whole hour plus we never ran into any issues and it was a smooth user friendly experience. We played a few of the games and sampled some of the 1,000 plus real golf courses and it was fun times all around! We had a mix of skill levels and I felt like everyone was able to really enjoy themselves. All and all a really fun new addition to the city. I'm someone who loves an activity while I drink so this was right up my alley. Last but not least the staff here were all nice and accommodating I definitely felt really welcome while I was there. I had an extremely pleasant experience, considering that it's Labor Day, everyone's off, and the place was empty. The bartender, Bryan, made it a party. They offer a variety of alcoholic drinks like local Colorado beers, wine, ciders, seltzers, and liquor. It's worth saying that the space is absolutely beautiful. The owners definitely have an eye for design- I loved the hand crafted wooden tables and the various local art that was displayed on the walls. The projector screens are huge and the picture quality is amazing!! These golf simulators are very impressive and use state-of-the-art technology! The system is very user friendly, no need to be super tech savvy to set your group up. The games played smoothly and never ran into any issues. For someone who doesn't play golf, I had an absolute blast and I feel like anyone would enjoy swinging the golf clubs while sipping on some delicious cocktails. The bartender was very helpful in deciding what to order and the few drinks I tried were amazing! After seeing many photos of The Local Drive, seeing it in person blew me away! The design and decor was tasteful and chic but not upscale stuffy, more upscale cool. It was spacious to accommodate group events and lots of small groups. The cocktails were not only beautiful but also delicious! There were so many great choices, I tried 3 different ones and loved them all! My favorite was the Southside Drive. Buzzin was also really yummy. The owner was so friendly and passionate about what he and his partner built. I thought it was really great that they incorporated so many local businesses into the building of The Local Drive. It demonstrates such a sense of community which I respect so much. I was there with a small group of women and none of us were real golfers but we still had a blast. We played a bunch of different games so we could compete against each other - there were tons of options to choose from - really fun!
