Tighe Brother's Distillery back-room aging barrels and tasting table.

Dan and Paul Tighe have created something truly special. The story of this local establishment and their processes makes Tighe Brother's liquors all the more delicious. Dan is incredibly kind. He gave our in-depth private tour and mixed us up some of their amazing signature cocktails. We're excited to work this spot into our regular rotation! We came for the whiskey (which is awesome), and we were pleasantly surprised by their smooth and flavorful gin and vodka. They also have bottles for sale, if you're looking for an enjoyable, unique gift with a local Denver history.

One of the best distilleries in all of Colorado! The whiskies and vodka are phenomenal! I am not typically one for gin, but the Tighe Brothers Gin is divine and makes me actually want to drink gin (something I never thought was possible)! Their Manhattan is the best I've had in Denver and the family feel of the distillery makes you forget you're in a bar. A trip to The Tighe Brothers is a MUST for all denverites and tourists alike!

Wonderful spirits. The music was great and the host was wonderful. The single malt wheat whiskey was great. Very nice, highly recommend.

Once we were at the distillery, Dan made us some amazing cocktails and gave us a tour of the place.

We went right when they opened so things may have changed, but here is my honest feedback…read more.. Pros: - They views are cool, the pool is lovely. It's a great little rooftop deck/bar. - The indoor lounge space is cozy and inviting. - The two cocktails I had there were well balanced and delicious. Not overpriced, considering location and vibe. Cons: - The very first bartender we went to (shorter, older guy with a beard) was pretty rude. I understand they were extremely busy and this was probably one of their first services, but at one point while he was making drinks I asked him a question about one of the cocktails and he barked at me to please stop talking to him because he was trying to remember the ingredients and he would be with me in a minute. My friends and I were all kind of taken aback by that. I wasn't being annoying, I was very friendly... and it would've been my first drink of the night so it wasn't a great experience to start out. - This is definitely a bougier place. Some of the guests definitely made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Like we weren't fashionable enough, didn't look rich enough or had enough lip filler to be there. My friend made a reservation for the pool and expressed that we were interested in swimming and cooling off. We were give direct permission to swim, relax, and enjoy. Upon arrival we were brought to the patio furniture around the pool which gets extremely hot in the sun. After enjoying a round of drink and food, we got into the pool and lounged around the sides. We were approached by the only other person at the pool and were harshly told what we can and cannot be doing. This person was a resident and told us that we couldn't even touch a lounge chair. It was very rude and unnecessary considering the 30 empty chairs all around. This person then contacted the waitress and manager and made a huge deal of it. We were eventually asked to get out of the pool. This seemed like a huge miscommunication handled very terribly. This was not a great look for the building as it is still leasing unit out.

I guess the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was when the hostess said something like, "oh, you don't have a reservation? let me see if we can get you in." She came back and said, "we only have the bar available." So we stood/sat at the bar. But there were clearly open tables. 20 minutes into our experience, the bartender was like, "just take one of those tables." I know they could have been reserved, and they had to hold them for a little bit longer... but the hostess didn't have to have attitude, and could have said something like -- 'we can seat you here if no one shows up.' I should probably give them 3 stars, but think there is potential here.

A seen or be seen feeling spot. Decent views, but best Mountain View had curtains covering it. Drinks were fine. Nothing special. Menu had a lot of sweeter cocktails. Well alcohol was not great quality. 20% tip is included and not highlighted. Unless you read every page of the menu, you will not know. Our server didn't mention it- just handed us the total and tip screen. We ended up tipping on top of it, so that was a VERY expensive martini! Would not go back. Great for young folks looking to dress up and take pictures.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.
