After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

Later I asked AI to find me a great breakfast spot that wouldn't break the bank, and this place was the number one recommendation. Holy shit... this is one of the best breakfasts, if not the best breakfast I've ever had. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pancakes were warm, fluffy, and so good they honestly had me wanting to come back every single morning. They're also famous for their homemade cinnamon roll, and now I know why. It was absolutely massive, covered in butter, and did not dissapoint. The real secret star though is the breakfast burrito. Stuffed with meat, eggs, hash browns, and cheese, then topped with their homemade green chili gravy. Holy moly... that gravy is a work of art. I don't even know how to describe it other than I wanted to drink it. The flavor is unbelievable. I ended up eating breakfast here every day of our trip, which is something I literally never do while traveling because I like trying different places. Now here's the crazy part... the prices. This place feels like home and the prices match. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw breakfast this affordable. It feels like stepping back 10 or 15 years. Five people could have a filling breakfast here for about what two people would spend at First Watch or a lot of the trendy breakfast places. The staff was friendly, the food came out fast, and the whole place just has that comfortable local diner feeling that is getting harder and harder to find. Overall, I'll be eating here every single time I visit Denver no matter how far out of the way it is. This place is a national treasure and needs to be protected at all costs. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to spend way too much time trying to recreate that green chili gravy at home... I already know I won't get it right, but I'm gonna try anyways.

Then the food starts showing up and suddenly the whole table is passing plates around because everyone keeps saying "wait, try this." We ordered a bunch of things and the smoked carrots were probably the biggest surprise for me. I would absolutely go back just to eat those again. The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. The banana cream pie with black sesame whip was one of those desserts where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. It just felt like a really thoughtful meal from start to finish. Definitely one of my favorite dinners I've had in a while.

It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside, and our waitress was friendly and welcoming. I started with the Spanish Harlem, a refreshing nonalcoholic drink. For the table, we ordered the Piada and the thrice-baked potatoes. The Piada was a delicious bread served with ricotta, balsamic, and olive oil--simple and incredibly flavorful. The thrice baked potatoes were well seasoned and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Everyone seemed to enjoy both dishes as the plates were left empty. For my entrée, I ordered the Cavatelli alla Vodka. It was a wonderful combination of flavors and textures, with tastes that were unfamiliar to me but absolutely delicious. My son wanted to try it, so I shared some with him, and he loved it too. Everyone at the table seemed to thoroughly enjoy their meals. She greeted me happy birthday which was nice and personal. I quickly noticed how nice the restaurant smelled. The dark green interior colors gave off a nice vibe, upscale and classy. We were seated right away. There was a hand written birthday card waiting for me at the table, from the restaurant, that was such a sweet surprise. Now to the main event. The food and service. My husband and I ordered: Mikan Buri Crudo, Foccacia, Ricotta Cavatelli, and Moulard Duck. All four dishes blew our mind. We forced ourselves to eat slow-er because we didn't want the amazing experience to end!! Our favorite dish of the night was the Mikan Buri Crudo. It had the best yellowtail we've ever had. It was a melt in your mouth type of dish. Perfectly paired with a citrus sauce, pineapple and other amazing ingredients ... I would travel and come back to wildflower for that dish alone. If you love fresh seafood and Crudo, I strongly suggest trying it. The duck probably comes in second to me. It was cooked perfectly. The service provided by wildflower's team stood out to me and my husband. Our water glasses were constantly refilled, table was cleaned in between dishes. While my went to the bathroom, one of our servers came and refolded his napkin then placed it back on the table. It's the little details and effort for me!!! I also loved their pink and white dishes. Everything felt so elegant. It was a perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you, Wildflower team for this outstanding experience. You set the bar high and other restaurants should take notes.

Upon walking up to the restaurant, it does not seem like much but it is very nice inside. The food and drinks were very tasty. I would highly recommend the chef's choice (omakase style). It is a bit pricey but the food was plentiful and it was nice to just have everything provided without having to choose what to eat especially if you are going there as a business dinner like I did. Drink choices are unique and there were options for mocktails as well. I took off a point because although our server was very helpful and knowledgeable, he was talking about the food and other things a bit too much where my customers and our higher ups were getting irritated. I think some training there would be helpful. Overall, I had a good experience there and would recommend checking it out for a nice dinner at a place with good ambiance.

My friend and I sat at the bar and had such a fun night. The ricotta agnolotti was easily my favorite dish. It was a 10/10. We also got the French onion tartlet, which I loved. If you like caramelized onions, you have to order it. It was sweet and savory and almost tasted like an onion dessert (in the best way possible). The bread and butter was also delish. There were only two dishes I wasn't crazy about, but that was definitely more of a personal preference on my end. One was an artichoke dish where you ate the whole artichoke. I realized I just don't love that texture. The other was a tuna tartare with cheese. The combination wasn't really for me, and the tuna was a little fishier than I prefer. My friend loved both, though. I also love that the menu is seasonal, so there's always a reason to come back. Overall, this is an easy five stars, and I can't wait to come back and try more!!!

The duck fat Madeleines with chicken liver and marmalade were also really nice. The artichokes had a great texture but the accompanying sauces were lackluster. The French onion tart was really not good lol. Service was good until the entree which took a long time to arrive. The pacing of dishes was otherwise on point. It was a million decibels inside at all times, the baren walls could have used literally any method of sound dampening. Also, and this is a wild one, but the passion fruit gummies given with the check tasted like a blood clot. Immediate taste of iron. Idk of this has to do with how they are made or stored but you have got to do something about that if you want it to be a nice after dinner treat because what the hell was that flavor? I would worry it was just me but my date thought the same thing. Overall, it wasn't wallet destroyingly expensive and I would give them a second shot. Honestly I'd come back just for the tuna, wow that was nice.

Wow moments - an ice cream cone, miniature "popcorn", and delicious cocktails. But... the food tonight overall didn't live up to the 2-star billing. My first issue: I left hungry. And I'm not a big dude. 165 soaking wet. That really shouldn't happen. We've been to a bunch of two-stars in NY, DC, Tokyo, and Paris, and they mostly program in a heartier, larger main at some point that lets the guest fill up. The wagyu was tasty but... it was probably 3oz of steak. Second: the service was over the top. We had two trainees tonight, and man were they trying hard. The descriptions bordered on melodrama, and they really struggled with interrupting and trying to subtly hurry along one of the slower eaters among us. That really shouldn't happen at this level. Too much service; it shouldn't be noticed when it's done right. We love the Michelin guide. Wolf's Tailor is a gem, and it certainly deserves a star.
