I think I just found my favorite brunch in Denver. I haven't had a quiche in forever, so I wasn't expecting the Quiche Lorraine to be the thing I couldn't stop talking about. Bacon, chives, Gruyère, onions, and simple greens. It was so good. Easily the best quiche I've had. The Good Morning Morty was another favorite. I'm not usually a breakfast sandwich person, but mortadella, cheese, a fried egg, and smash browns? Yeah, I get it now. And then there's the Caviar Ashtray. I hated the ashtray so much that I now have one sitting on my coffee table. The caviar, thankfully, was delicious. The coffee cake was also fantastic. The orange icing on top was such a good touch, and I would've happily eaten about 19 of them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole brunch just felt fun. My mom and I came here for lunch, which now looking online, maybe they don't do anymore? Anyway, they had $5 martinis, which was awesome. I got the Caesar salad with the fried chicken cutlet, and my mom got the grilled cheese sans kimchi. She doesn't like spicy. Both were good. From the second we said we were focusing on drinks and possibly a snack or an entree later, the heavy breathing "of this table won't order a lot," was in full effect. I've been here a few times now. I've been in for dinner, happy hour and brunch most recently. The service is always top notch. This spot has changed hands a couple of times since it was Toms. I love how some of the lot was turned into a terrific patio with another bar space. You completely forget you're on Colfax. On Saturday, we sat on the patio and had the quiche along with some bloody Marys and teeny tini's. The quiche was delicious but the arugula salad with a punchy dressing was the perfect balance to it. I doubt I will ever come back here. Came to grab some appetizers and drinks before a concert at the Fillmore on a Thursday. The Bartender came up to us to take our order but I wanted a second to look at the menu, but my friend ordered. What a mistake I made because her drink took almost 15 minutes! Very slow at making drinks definitely need some support. After getting the first drink, I decided we should order the food and my drink so we had enough time. I went with just a glass of wine so it would be quick but still took 10 minutes. By the time my drink and the fries came out we had maybe 15 minutes before we had to leave for the concert. No apologies for the long wait, just slowly moving. Maybe it would have worked if we had 2-3 hours to kill but we didn't. So unfortunately with the super slow service and high prices to go with it, i wont be coming back. Overall 2/5 stars. read more

We came for drag brunch with a large group to celebrate my friend's divorce! We had an amazing time! I ordered a bloody mary and a smashburger with tots. All of it was yummy! What a "hidden" gem located on what is commonly thought of as the sketchier part of Colfax Ave. I have many good things to say about this place but the 2 biggest things that surprised me about Champagne Tiger was the fact that they have a parking lot, albeit small but still having a parking lot around the area is rare, and the patio area is HUGE. If you see the picture I uploaded showing the patio you may think it's a picture of a park. Inside and outside areas every time I've been there have been spotless and well designed. This would be a great place to bring a date or friends from out of town you want to impress. Drinks and food have always been delicious and with great service from talented bartenders. Just the name had me immediately interested. However, there were more options including caviar than champagne. The place looks like a remodeled Dennys , very diner looking. The service was fantastic. We sat in a booth by a window & the people watching was so good. I was starving & got 1/2 dozen oysters, a loaded ash tray ($50!) & mortadella tower to start. I was a little disappointed with the ash tray app since it only came with 6 tater tots so I ordered another side of tots with the tiger sauce. Oysters were super fresh & the mignonette sauce was really good, chefs kiss :* We also got the special which was fried chicken & they can make it gluten free! Drinks- I started with a Tiger spritz, and later got the dirty millionaire, I think the vodka has gold flecks in it cause it was sparkly, I really enjoyed the jalapeño brine in it too, it wasn't spicy just the essence of jalapeño. Husband had a bees knees to start then a Negroni & both were great. We both really appreciated how clear the king cube was in the Negroni. Lots of different types of seating and also good for large groups (we had a party of 8). The decor is also so cute (love that tiger carpet). The food and drinks are also really good. So glad I could order a cold brew and that there were lots of non-alcoholic options too. I also got a Bloody Mary and it was perfect (shout out for the yummy pickles that came with it). Topped it off with a sherbet sour beer, which was tasty. For food - loved the French Classic Omelette. Anything Boursin is a yes for me. I subbed out the potatoes with fried green tomatoes - so good. So, I only did happy hour, but I was very pleased and Im absolutely going to come back. Staff were great, I was there with my toddler (which I wouldn't recommend) but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Brunch and a show?! You betcha. Have not been to this location since it was Tom's 24hr Diner, when I was 22 and here at 2am eating an amazing grilled cheese. Champagne Tiger has taken over this location and done an amazing job with updates and cute decor. Booths, tables, or a seat at the bar is where you can chose to sit. The brunch menu is smaller than most - but this is not an issue at all, as you can really figure out what sounds good. I opted for the Quiche Lorraine on the suggestion of our waiter who said, "If you love quiche, try ours because it is the best in town." After having it, I highly agree with this statement. It was perfectly baked, made, and flavored. Oh so good. Additionally, they offer some great brunch cocktails. As always, I tried the Bloody Mary and their bloody mix was outstanding. I also ordered it spicy and would recommend all to do so. Be warned, their drinks go down quickly. Our server was very attentive and checked in on us frequently. The brunch show featured 4 of Denver's Drag Queens. Super fun show, super energetic, and a good time overall. (Don't forget tip money for the entertainment). Will go back again absolutely. Pro-tip 1, spots for the show - two on Sundays - fill up quickly online. Get those resies early. Pro-tip, 2 parking is difficult and even more difficult with the construction along Colfax. Tiger Champagne is one of my new favorite restaurants in Denver. This spot used to be Tom's Diner (which I never visited) and it's quite clear this place has the same diner skeletal structure. One key point is that there's a parking lot!! My friend and I spent forever trying to find a non-sketchy street spot, then the host told us we could have parked behind the building. We shared a Caesar Salad, which is the menu item that drew us into making a reservation here. I ordered the Truffle Mushroom Linguine - their pasta dish on the menu seems to rotate which is super special - and Dirty Martini. Both things were phenomenal! Just plan ahead for looking for parking on the street or pay in a lot, and go with a friend or group for safety reasons while walking. Now back to why you need to go to Champagne Tiger--the food and entertainment! We went for drag brunch on a Sunday for the second performance of the day. High energy with quality entertainment. Be sure to bring cash, but if you forget, you can always Venmo your queens and DJ. Reservations are a must. Seating options are tables for larger groups and booths and the bar for smaller parties. Our server did not steer us wrong in suggestions. I went with the Good Morning Morty Sando which was a gooey mound of goodness of mortadella, gruyere cheese, and a fried egg between sourdough bread. I had to eat it with a fork and knife since it was too messy to just use my hands. Fantastic food, drinks, ambience and staff with an incredible patio. There is nothing but greatness when you walk in the door. I recently enjoyed a birthday celebration with friends, set up by my husband. Unfortunately, a tragic event prevented him from attending. Not only did the owners Chris & Jeff greet us lovingly at the door, a dozen red roses were on the table as a tribute to Dan. Menu is breakfast heavy for brunch with a burger option as one of the few not 'breakfast' food. Though the burger was delicious. Despite a drag brunch going on in side service was fast and friendly. I had such an amazing time at Champagne Tiger's Piano and Pasta recently. Every week they have a special pasta that they make for the evening to enjoy while you watch a live singing performance by Anastasia Krystals with a piano accompaniment from Buddy Bravo. The week I went they had a browned butter pumpkin sage fettucine and it was TO DIE FOR! I have still been dreaming about this pasta because it was so good! I also want to call out that the menu has quite a few mocktails for those who are sober or sober curious. I actually got a tea-based mocktail and it was FANTASTIC. I really enjoyed being able to have a fancy drink while choosing not to drink. They are as expensive as the alcoholic drinks though, so proceed with caution. Our server always made sure we had everything we needed too including numerous drink checks. The only downside is that the area around can be a little rough. I recommend maybe taking a rideshare in to avoid having to walk around the area if that is bothersome. read more

From the entrance art, to the staff and definitely the food...this place was amazing! The back patio is a great place to eat dinner with all the charms of a Palm Springs diner, just in the heart of Denver. We had the Steak Tartare, Mom Salad and the Ceasar which were all excellent! If there was any constructive feedback I'd give considering we visited the first week they were open would be the salads were a little over-dressed. Everything about them was 100% tasty, just needed a little less dressing. For the main we split a mustard chicken which was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. Plan ahead, have a cocktail and wait for some of the best chicken I've had in the US. It's cooked perfectly, and it does come with a salad that could stand a little bit less of the amazing vinaigrette that it came with, but otherwise 10 out of 10 would eat that again. Can't say that I would make a trip to Denver just to eat here, but I 100% would go out of my way to have dinner here next time I'm in town. Keep up the good work! read more

The Baby Stud King was so amazing, she won over the crowd and definitely caught the lady's attention. All the queens did a fantastic job putting on this event, but that tall glass of chocolate milk was the best act !!! You don't see Stud kings at brunch, everyone has drag queens so for this restaurant to bring something new with flavor is the best move any brunch spot can make can make.
