I had such an amazing time at gold point with my fiancée thanks to the bartender Kyle. He is the reason I will continue to return as a customer. Not only does he make the most amazing drinks but he has the most genuine personality. Kyle has such an amazing way of making you feel like a friend. His service is phenomenal and so are the drinks. 100% will be returning to this wonderful place, especially with Kyle as the bartender! I will also add he can make anything your heart desires so don't be scared to ask for what you want.

    Sandlot Themed Cocktail Menu

From the pale yellow brick on the front and the contrasting ornate black, white, and gold snake mural on the side of the building, one doesn't quite know what to expect when walking into Gold Point. After visiting, I now know I can expect a great cocktail in a chill place that I can sit and chat with a friend. The front of the bar is lit a little more and has couches and chairs in a lounge area. As you venture further back to the very well-stocked bar (kuddos for the tequila selection!) you will find an area that is dimly lit by Edison lightbulbs. You can sit at the bar or choose a booth off to the side. In addition to beer and wine offerings, speciality cocktails are currently based off of the classic baseball movie, "The Sandlot". I used to watch this movie with my son and adored that annoying yet funny kid, Squints, so of course that was my cocktail choice. Gold Point describes it as "crisp, refreshing, & vegetal" - all accurate. An amazing mix of blanco tequila, cachaca, cucumber, coconut water, melon, and lime. Smooth and went down a little too easy - kind of like Squints at the pool with Wendy the Lifeguard. IYKYK. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. "Legends never die" but they do switch their cocktail menu theme, so don't wait too long if you want the nostalgic experience of this 1993 movie.

    Outdoor patio.

This is why I love the RiNo neighborhood, for bars like just this one. Super laid-back, great bartenders, and an amazing drink selection. During my visit here, they had a handful of vendors outside on their patio selling items like handmade jewelry, clothing, and even a tarot card reading. The outdoor patio is huge offers numerous benches and tables to sit at... did I mention it's also dog friendly?! Inside of the bar is dark with a slightly upscale divvy vibe. I sipped on a Cowboy Mule and a few Coors lights during my visit. The Cowboy mule was delicious and it was made with pineapple juice? and not ginger beer. This drink was very refreshing and had me going back for seconds. They do serve food here, but I didn't have any during my last visit. Looking for a new bar to hang out at and enjoy some quiet conversation on the patio, this is your spot.

Happy hour had some decent deals, including their pomegranate cosmo. Loved the little touch of gold glitter that the bar tender added, and she was very sweet and funny. It was a little stuffy inside, but the exterior patio was really beautiful, especially with the flowering trees. Worth going to during happy hour for sure.

Whiskey sour and "Don't call me Georgie"

Delicious cocktails! Both the whiskey sour and Don't Call me Georgie were amazing. True whiskey sour with egg white and the spin on an old fashion was perfect. Sat outside and it was lovely. Went on a Saturday at 5:30

I will start my review with a Wow, this place is so beautiful. I had a wonderful sandwich and a few drinks while listening to great music. The most impressing experience of the establishment was the bartender Kyle. He was very attentive and paid attention to every little detail. Plenty of places make you feel like a customer but he really knows his way with people. He truly has an aura that lights up the entire bar. I am glad to say I have found my new spot thanks to Kyle. It was a pleasure to be served by such a wonderful bartender!

This spot is such a vibe! Popped in with a friend and was so happy to see they offer mocktails. The 'Timmy' is so refreshing and tasty. The bartender was super friendly. I would absoutely come back soon for a bev! Ps they have a photobooth if you're a big fan of those like me :)

featured cocktail - Coffee Mole Old Fashioned

Located in RiNo, this is a very cool, calm, and collected bar. It's pretty chill and a great place if you wanted to get caught up and just chat without being bothered. Its dimly lit and comfy booths let you just take a moment to relax and collect your thoughts. Noted on the Westword's 100 Bars, Gold Point is known for its signature cocktails. Specifically, all the cocktails are named off of a character from the classic and nostalgic movie, The Sandlot. There is no clear rhyme or reason to this, but I am here for it. I ordered the Benny which is touted as fruity, floral and bubbly - and yes, it is. It is a refreshing drink for sure. Gold Point offers happy hour from open until 8pm daily. On their happy hour menu, they offer a featured cocktail. The featured cocktail on this visit was the coffee mole old fashioned. Well done, Gold Point! This was a tasty concoction of coffee infused bourbon and mole bitters. Usually not a bourbon drinker, but could easily become one if all bourbon tasted like this. The bartender was very nice, knowledgeable, and quick to make and serve drinks. I will return to Gold Point and would also like to try Catawampus, the eatery attached to Gold Point as well.

Gold Point wasn't busy at all when we visited on a late Friday afternoon. My friends and I grabbed a picnic table on their patio, and went inside to order at the bar. I decided to try their happy hour cocktail, which was the White Negroni, but unfortunately it was too boozy and bitter for me. I quickly switched over to the Ginstitutionalized, which I liked wayyy better - refreshing, tasty, and well balanced. The drink menu was on the smaller side, but the bartender was helpful and impressively quick. I really liked the patio here, which is great if you're visiting with a large party. The black and white snake mural was a vibe, and they had some cute Halloween decorations set up, as well. The interior was more dark and moody, with plenty of booths, bar seating, and a few cozy looking couches. I can see Gold Point being a great date spot too, since it's quiet enough to easily have a conversation. Would return!

This place was cuter than expected. It was clean and the decor was simple but classy. The bartenders were nice and fast. The drinks were strong but delicious, exactly what I look for. I definitely will be back, as it is a chill place to hang with friends or go on a date!

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.
